Gareth and Rana are fantastic hosts. We had lovely conversations with them both. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is delicious. If i were to visit the area again i would definitely stay here again.

We arrived quite late on a Friday evening, having travelled from London after work. Gareth had kept in touch with us prior to our arrival, assuring us our arrival time would be ok. We were warmly welcomed by him on arrival and he took time to guide us through everything we needed to know. Our room (Rupert) was wonderful; spotlessly clean, with everything we could have needed, plus more. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding of excellent quality - we slept so well. There was a nice selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and drinking water left for us, which was very welcomed after our long journey. The breakfast options were superb - so much choice and everything we tried was perfectly cooked. Rana is an amazing chef. My favourite was the Eggs Benedict - the eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise sauce delicious. The homemade yoghurt was one of our favourite items also, topped with some of the delicious freshly-prepared fruits and granola. The location of this property was perfect -we were visiting with the aim of climbing Snowdon on the Saturday and finding other things to do on the Sunday -we were spoiled for choice as there is so much to do in Snowdonia. We ended up wandering around the village of Betws-y-Coed on Sunday morning, visiting Swallow Falls and then visiting a mine. Gareth was helpful with suggestions of places to visit and there was also a good selection of leaflets available at the property for ideas. Thank you!

Stayed 2 nights

We have just returned from a 2 night stay, the whole experience was wonderful. From being warmly welcomed on arrival, shown to our gorgeous room, provided with numerous extra little touches and obviously the mouth watering breakfasts. Nothing was too much trouble, the attention to detail, both in the room and in the communal areas was second to none. The hosts were brilliant, pointing us in the right direction for places to visit, suggestions where to eat and generally to have a good chat putting the world to rights. We will be back.
