Great hotel- conveniently located. Outdoor bar on property was lackluster. Often times there wasn't anyone working the bar, so it was easier to go out to the local places nearby. Only con was the bar across the street throwing away bottles/trash at all hours of the night- easily heard from our window.

Great hotel, with good rates, clean rooms, and very walkable to all areas of Madrid. Breakfast was probably the best we had in our 3 week vacation. Staff is also very friendly (special mention to the evening bartender, and the breakfast crew). We use the "with parking" filter on Expedia, but could not find any mention on where/how later on, so we had to call the hotel desk. It turns out it's a public parking located few block away, costs about 18 euros per day, and underground with very tight spaces. Hence our 4-rating which would have been 5 otherwise

Lovely hotel and amazing breakfast. Great, helpful staff. Good location. We were given a w/c accessible room for 4 of us. Bathroom was huge but shower surface was slippery and water got all over bathroom floor when we used shower. There was a set of bunk beds. The person sleeping up top found the ladder extremely uncomfortable to use when getting up and down - very hard on feet.

My only complaint is if you stay in a room that looks over the courtyard, be prepared to wake up at 7:30 every morning from the noise. Breakfast starts at 7:30 and the dining area is in the courtyard, so all the noise made echoes and reverberates up to the rooms. I know the staff has to do their job to get ready but it really was impossible to sleep through.

We stayed here for 4 nights as we were ending our trip to Spain. I've stayed at other Petit Palace Hotels in the past and this is one of the best ones so far. The staff was very nice and accommodating. It's in a very safe part of the city, yet very close to tall tourist attractions either by walking or taking the metro. The outside patio/bar was a great spot to unwind after a long day. I had room service from their hotel one night and it was very good. Overall loved my stay and would highly recommend.

The hotel is inside an older building, but has been very well renovated. It has all the modern comfort and amenities and the service is good. It is within 20-30 minutes of walking from all the major landmarks in Madrid. Overall a pleasant stay. Parking is about 5-10 minutes of walking in an underground garage. The hotel has a discount with them.

I don't think this is a 4 star hotel. There was mould in the bathroom which got cleaned 2 days into our stay. One of us got food poisoning as they had a chicken meal in the evening. The chicken was pink in the middle and only noticed after as there was a sauce that covered the chicken. The staff were polite and nice.

Sehr gute Lage, gutes Frühstück, sehr freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer. Leider keine Toilettenbürste im Bad, kein Papierkorb am Schreibtisch und in der Minibar nur zweimal Wasser, welches auch noch bezahlt werden musste und dann nicht mehr neu aufgefüllt wurde.

Our stay is just ok. The staff were very nice. What I didn't like was the bathroom. The water is leaking out from the shower floor. I asked them to fix it but it was still leaking and they couldn't move us to a different room. The location is also good.

Overall it is a nice hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable with friendly staff. The breakfast is wonderful! My only complaint is the air conditioning struggles to keep up with the heat. It was around 100F each day; and the lowest we could get the room was about 77. We pretty much had to sleep on top of the sheets. We like to walk, and found the location nice, within 30 minute walk of anything we wanted to do.

The hotel is clean, comfortable and nicely located. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was reasonably sized and clean. The only real downside was the window to the outside that does a really poor job of blocking noise from the street. Basically any shout or scooter driving by would sound like it happened in the room itself. Not the fault of the hotel, but the glass container right outside was also emptied more than once a night, which is really noisy. Bottom line, it would have been a great hotel had it had better noise isolation, now it's a bit hard to recommend, but maybe they have quieter rooms.

While I was hoping to love this hotel based off the amazing reviews I was disappointed in my stay here. The number one thing that affected my stay was the AC does not work great. The first 5 min of being in our room we noticed the AC was not kicking on and when you tried to change the fan intensity on the thermostat there was no change in noise. We went down to the front desk to inquire and the gentlemen said we needed to give it 20/30 min to work. Huh? Okay fine. After that we went back down to state it wasn’t working still, which he came back up to our room himself to make sure we were using the thermostat correctly, and when he realized we were, he said just to give it a little more time. After a couple hours the room was not getting colder we called back down, this time a woman came up to our room. When I opened the door and she was still in the hallway she said “oooo it’s cold” I was so confused. “Huh” I said? She walked in and stated again, “it’s so cold in here” I legit was like is this woman trying to gaslight me right now? It was so condescending. She looked at the thermostat and said that it just takes time for the room to get cold and we needed to give it more time. Well after that experience we were done. It did not get colder. The internet was also incredibly awful and there are no small towels given for the bathroom. Only large ones. Other than that it was okay but I wish they would have taken the AC issue more seriously.

The staff were excellent. We arrived early and had t store our bags. We were out when the room was ready and they automatically moved all our bags to the room. We had to leave early the next morning and they packed us a picnic lunch to take with us. The property is in a very nice, walkable neighborhood. We were a family of four and had a queen bed and two singles.

The welcome ice you walk into the lobby is warm and sincere like someone welcoming you into their house. Marcos at the front desk is magic, offering a upgraded room and checking in as soon as the room is ready. This wonderful hotel is well situated, guest centered, super clean and very comfortable. The rooms are nicely decorated as are the public spaces. The lounge/bar is the perfect place to relax with an Aperol spritz after a day of activities .

Cris was very nice and welcoming. She suggested places for us to eat and visit. She also helped us check in early which was helpful since we were tired from traveling. They also held our bags at check out so we could continye enjoying the city for a couple of extra hours.

Amazing hotel and excellent staff! They helped us get an extra room, call Royal Palace for hours and tickets (The palace was suddenly closed due to a meeting.) The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were quiet and clean.

Tolles Zimmer und Lage. In 15 Minuten erreicht man das Stadtzentrum zu Fuß! Zimmer war sauber, jedoch hat irgendwie jeder Gegenstand gewackelt oder war lose. Fenster ließen sich nicht richtig schließen. Frühstücksbuffet war sehr vielfältig und gut. Können das Hotel weiter empfehlen.

The location of this property is perfect. It’s in a nice neighborhood, but also close to everything and the train is steps away. I was very happy with my choice to stay here and the VIP benefits were worth it. I would def stay here again.

Location was very good. It felt a bit more removed from the very touristy parts of Madrid, which was exactly what we needed, but still quite central and easy to access everything you plan to do in Madrid—it's still a short walk to Gran Vía. The breakfast spread was amazing. There were so many options, anything you would want for breakfast, they had it. This was the perfect place to stay during our time in Madrid and would definitely go back.

Really good location for the airport. The state of the Hotel was slightly disappoiting for the price and star rating. A few mouldy bathroom areas and could do with an uplift! Quite good breakfast, the usual limited vegan options.
