a&o Köln Dom

Just some steps to the Koln Cathedral. Breakfast is poor, elevator didn’t work the second day.

I quite liked this place for the price. Location could NOT have been better!!! It was such a perfect location! Staff was amazing and so helpful!! There was a tinnny elevator which was so helpful to get the luggage to the room. It was clean, and beds pretty comfortable. My sons bed was more comfortable then mine, mine had a weird lump/roll in the middle. It was verrrrry hot to sleep here. No ac as most places in Germany. I did bring along a little USB fan that I bought before heading to Germany that has been extremely helpful. It was loud outside. But that is to be expected so close to the downtown core/cathedral. And I wouldn’t change it for the location! We had to park about 10 min away in a parking garage which was the only downside. Other than that. Amazing place!

Es wäre gut wenn der aufzug gewechselt wird weil es ist klein und schwierig mit dem koffer und allgemein der Aufzug war kein sichere fahrt damit. Fenster war schmutzig

Great staff, always welcoming, smiling, polite and very helpful, especially with the luggage that we store before the check-in and after the checkout. The hotel can't be in a most convenient location

Basic hotel room, clean and simple. However... cleaning staff need to learn what the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door means, and not let themselves in and wake me up 3 times!

Sehr kleines, sauberes Zimmer. Zentrierte Lage. Leider war das Bettlalen kaputt und beide Seifenspender leer. Für eine Nacht war es aber ok.

This hotel is decent value for money. Located very close to the cathedral, main station and old town. Lots of nearby places to eat. Room was a decent size although the bathroom felt cramped. Good shower, good WiFi, mattress a bit soft but still comfy. Excellent pillows.Very limited storage but plenty of plug sockets. Clean but poor attention to detail, eg a hair on the duvet. Good blackout curtains but poor internal sound proofing. Heating works well Seriously fiddly and annoying computerised check in but the staff are very nice. Overall I think this hotel is absolutely fine if staying for a single night and i would stay here again but I'd explore other options for a longer stay.

最終日以外のスタッフはとても感じが良かったですが、最終日のスタッフはトイレットペーパーがないからくださいとフロントでお願いしたら、明日の掃除のときでもいい？と言い、すぐに部屋に持ってきてとお願いしたが持ってくることは無く、フロントを何度か訪ねたが彼女は居なくてとても困りました。 シーツも擦り切れていて、ペットパッドも無く、布団は常に湿っていました。 タオルも擦り切れていたり、黒ずんでいたり、シャワーコーナーは、身を縮めないと入ることも出来ませんでした。 シャワーヘッドも壊れてホースから漏れていました。 また、テーブルも椅子もありませんでした。 2度と泊まることはないでしょう。

Really convenient location (a few steps from Koln central train station). Small room, friendly staff. Sheets were a little bit old and walls were dirty.

観光をするには、とても便利な立地です。ケルン大聖堂から歩いて数分の場所にあり、夜でも人が多いので、女性1人でも怖くはありません。 土曜夜だったこともあり、深夜まで外が騒がしかったです。日曜夜は、それほどうるさくもなかったです。 また、マクドナルドや個人商店？も近くにあり、深夜遅くまで開いているのでとても便利。 ホテル自体は、若干のくたびれた感じがします。 タイルが割れていたり、部屋の掃除も行き届いてなかったり。 でも、寝るだけ！と考えたら、私は十分満足です。 朝はケルン大聖堂の鐘の音が鳴り響きます。 結構な大きさなので、気になる人はやめた方がいいと思います。 でも、私はもしまたケルンに来る事があるとしたら、このホテルは候補に入ります！

Sehr kleines aber sauberes Zimmer. Ziemlich abgenutzte Einrichtung aber funktional. Eine der beiden Matratzen war komplett durchgelegen.

Personnel très agréable. Chambre double très calme, propre et bien équipée. Juste un peu petite. Proche de la gare, du centre ville et de la cathédrale.

Hostelin konumu mükemmel. Hiç toplu tasımaya binmeden her yeri gezdik. Hostelde iki gece kaldık. Temizlik mukemmeldi. Kahvaltı yeterliydi. Çalısanlar guler yüzlüydü. Daha ne olsun.

WOW!! I mean if I had been reviewing this on what i paid - £300 per night, it would be getting minus 5 stars but I am reviewing it based on say an average £50 per night room rate. First of all the positives. The location is great, very central and noise levels are actually very low around there considering. The rooms seemed fairly clean and the bed was quite comfortable (if not a little basic). So now we get to the negatives. We arrived (having booked twin beds) and given room 402 which after walking 4 floors we found out was one double bed (no room around the bed to walk, literally the room was the size of the bed). We went back downstairs and after about 5 minutes we were given 408. So back upstairs we went but even worse this time the room was actually occupied (no people but a lovely laptop and phone if we had been that way inclined). So back we went again and this time given room 203 which again was two twin beds basically crammed together like a double with no room to walk around the outside. I have no idea what the room pictured is of but it certainly isn't the rooms we saw at this hotel. The rooms aren't like prison cells, they are a lot smaller than prison cells. I mean it is basically a bed and nothing else. Michael at front desk looked like he had been left on his own to manage the whole operation and couldn't look more disinterested if he tried, he did at least find our booking. Worst hotel experience - For the price - Absolutely the worst ever

Lage super aber sehr sehr laut. Zimmer sehr klein und Matratzen durchgelegen.

Meget lille værelse når der skal overnattes i flere dage - måtte have tøj i kuffert - ingen opbevaringsmulighed. God beliggenhed

The worst hotel that I have stayed ever , mini room , no bed sheet even short of bath towels, no A/C, totally a nightmare ….

깔끔했어요. 방음은 잘 안 되는 것 같은데 딱히 시끄러운 건 없었어요! 복도 소리가 잘 들리겠구니 싶은 정도. 방에 침대 하나 놓여있고 좀 작아서 캐리어 펼치기 힘들었어요. 한 사람은 폈다 접었다 해야하고, 한 사람은 그냥 펴놨더니 문 열 때마다 걸리더라고요ㅠㅠ 화장실은 깔끔하고 좋았어요! 배낭여행으로 와서 묵기에는 아주 적당합니다~

Location is good as it’s close to many attractions. However, the soundproofing of the rooms is bad. You can hear every noise from the surrounding rooms

Sehr schnell erreichbar vom Bahnhof, sehr zentral zur Innenstadt. Kleine Zimmer aber alles vorhanden was benötigt wird. Personal extrem hilfsbereit und freundlich - auch noch bei Anreise mitten in der Nacht.

Very good situated in Köln close to the railway station and the Dom. Good breakfast.

The hotel was difficult to find the first time but once found it was very convenient to restaurants, shops and attractions.

Das Hostel hat eine super Lage, direkt am Kölner Dom. Mein Zimmer war nach hinten heraus und sehr ruhig. Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich. Das Frühstück war ok, eine kleine Auswahl, aber ausreichend. Für einen Wochenendtrip eine gute Adresse.

Ho soggiornato per la seconda volta in strutture a& o. Le camere singole sono confortevoli silenziose. La struttura a colonia é centrale vicinissima al duomo. Ottima e ad un buon prezzo la colazione .
