This hotel provided a large room for my family after a cruise and we were allowed to check in early. It had an elevator which was useful for our luggage. The breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable and there was a large bathtub. The hotel also provided us with complimentary passes to some museums. It was an excellent property and wish we could have stayed longer.

We had an excellent time at this hotel. The staff was beyond helpful and nice. Rooms were super clean. We got the basic room, but it was larger than we expected and just fine for three nights. Great location in the heart of the city. Our only complaint was the temperature of the room at night. We had to open the window because it was so hot. The gym was also very hot and had limited equipment. It had three cardio machines and a set of hand weights (only Up to 10 kg).

My biggest concern was the air conditioning. We stayed one night and could not get it to work properly or cool the room adequately so it was quite warm. Maybe the desk clerk could explain how to use it as it was very confusing. Also, upon showering we found that our soap dispenser was empty and had to ask for more at the desk. This is something housekeeping should check when getting a room ready. On the positive side, room was quite large, clean, modern and had great natural light.

Ok la posizione. Per il resto non ha nulla di un 4 stelle. Dopo il terzo giorno di soggiorno ho dovuto chiedere io di cambiare le lenzuola sporcate da mia figlia il primo giorno che siamo arrivati. Ho sempre dovuto chiedere io qualche campione di doccia shampoo perché le signore delle pulizie non lo lasciavano mai; e poi 30 euro per la colazione…..non ne vale la pena!!!! Average hotel. Quick and easy check in, staff friendly, helpful and welcoming. We asked for a kettle and it was in our room on our return that evening. We were also able to borrow a plug adaptor Hotel modern and clean but the room itself was a bit tired. It had just been cleaned before we got there and there was a smell of dirty mop lingering. Not fresh at all and we had to open tge windows and spray some perfume to get rid of it. Good, quiet area near the river and a short walk to the Christmas markets

Very charming hotel. Close to Old Town, museums, and shopping. Unfortunately, all the shops were closed as it was Easter Weekend. This was just a one night stay to get accustomed to the 7 hour time difference. The room was very tidy, had everything we needed and an extremely comfortable bed. The staff was more than helpful. Fantastic hotel! Staff is very friendly, warm and informative with suggestions to help enhance your stay in Basel. The room is quiet and the AC keeps it at a great temperature amid this current heatwave. AC can often be a rare commodity at hotels here and rarer that it actually cools the room. Such a comfortable stay that I extended it!

Gluhwein and biscuits are complimentary at Christmas time in the lobby. This hotel was the best value in its category during Christmas period. I would go back.

Struttura a due passi da tutto. Proprio davanti c’è la fermata del bus 50 proveniente dall’aeroporto, mentre a pochi metri ci sono quelle che servono per raggiungere altre zone della città o la stazione, per poi fare escursioni a Mulhouse o i villaggi alsaziani. La nostra camera era una executive, molto grande, con un bagno spettacolare (innamorata del box doccia) che avevamo preso con un’offerta su Booking a un prezzo ottimo. Basilea è molto silenziosa, ma gli infissi sigillano comunque la camera per totale silenzio. Letto e cuscini davvero comodi, aria condizionata efficiente, biancheria da bagno molto morbida, pulizia eccellente. Ho molto apprezzato i prodotti da bagno della Occitane. E anche l’attenzione all’ambiente e agli sprechi, grazie all’opportunità di non farsi pulire la stanza in cambio di una birra. Colazione buona, personale simpatico e sempre disponibile.

Fabulous location on the edge of the old town. Great staff. Comfortable bed, but only dim lighting in the room. Also, in our “Executive Room”, there was a weird slightly frosted, glass panel between the bedroom and the bathroom. It didn’t appear to serve any useful purpose (both rooms had windows, so didn’t need the light)- and I’m not sure that I really wanted to see what my roommate is doing in the bathroom when I was in the bedroom. It also meant that you couldn’t turn on the light in the bathroom without disturbing your sleeping partner in the bedroom. Breakfast was ok (once you get over the sticker shock of Swiss prices) - with fruit, muesli, cheese, meat, croque monsieur, crepes, lemon cake, etc.

We were able to check in an hour early as our room was ready. This was much appreciated as we flew all night and part of the next day to get there. The front desk was exceptional in advising us on directions and how to use the trams in Basel. The room was very well appointed.

I found the hotel to be perfectly placed to be in easy access of all of Basel beautiful areas and restaurants bars n coffee shops the only problem if it was a problem was the breakfast area was just to small . But in general i loved it !!
