The adult-only section on the far end was secluded, quiet, well-attended, not crowded, very clean and well-maintained, with many pools & temperatures, lovely gardens, and gorgeous views of the mountains! We did not go to the day pass side - we were so happy in this area. The staff was so nice; Savannah at check-in was very friendly and helpful and gave us the good recommendation of that adult-only area; we really appreciate that. Our room was ready early too! Jess led us through the spa mud-bath with positivity, instructing the process and the sauna process after. She was patient as we took our time through the experience. All the staff who consistently checked the water temperature and checked in if we needed anything were friendly and helpful, and so nice, without ever hovering. We felt well cared for by the staff. Loved the river access too; we spent some time exploring the river. The hotel itself (we were in the original cabin) was standard. We would have liked a microwave as well as 4 towels and 4 coffees for 4 adults. The toilet had been used prior to our check in as the seats were up and there was debris inside. There was a cockroach right outside of our door at night which detracted from the glamour of a spa experience, and the reason the review is not 5 star. The restaurant looked amazing but was outside of our budget; however, the location of the hotel is so perfect that we could leave and eat elsewhere with no problem. We definitely want to go back to The Springs!

The Springs Resort & Spa nails the balance between wellness and comfort. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, the pools were nothing short of amazing, and the property itself was immaculate. Unfortunately, the food service left a lot to be desired. At The Cafe, we waited over an hour for crepes (checking in four times) only to find out our order had been given to someone else. Lunch at 1881 Poolside Provisions was slow as well, with a 15-minute wait just to place an order, and while the Ham and Cheddar Panini was fine, it was clearly pre-made or frozen. WildFinch was the bright spot in dining, with excellent service and fantastic appetizers (the scallop crudo and carpaccio) and cocktails, but the entrée we tried (Tooth & Gill) was disappointing, with overly large, chewy mushrooms and polenta that was average at best.
