I think they could update some safety issues. The back door to the first floor did not require a room key. I stayed out late enjoying the lights on the trees( nice!) back door still not locked. I think I would have felt safer knowing only room key residents could access the building building is right off the highway. Also, it was only 8:30am and, presumably, housekeeping knocked on our door (my friend was gone) a male did not identify thru the door that he was housekeeping and accessed our room as I was going to check. I was startled, he apologised and closed the door, but still it unnerved me that he opened our door before I could check. Other than that we were pleased with our experience. Room was small but nice bathroom, fridge and microwave.Good price, away from the busy downtown.

Comfortable stay while hunting out I. Pagosa. Friendly staff & appreciated having trailer parking as we had our ATV with us. We ended up booking 2 more nights & will definitely be back.

Alpine Inn was great. It is a great budget hotel which is what I wanted. It was clean, quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent. Parking felt safe.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with local recommendations. They also accommodated a second nights stay for us. Breakfast options and area were very clean and well stocked. The room was outdated and could have used a bit of minimal repairs, but the rooms and property overall was clean, quiet, and safe. The location of the property is in a shared parking lot, which was not expected, but I could have done better research to discover that element. Parking was free and easy to enter and exit. The price was reasonable especially given that it was Labor Day weekend. I would stay again given the accessibility to everything we wanted to do in Pagosa Springs.

Traveled to Pagosa Springs for a guy's ski trip to Wolf Creek and the Alpine Inn was perfect for us. Overall our room was very clean and tidy. I've stayed at higher priced hotels that did not maintain their bathrooms and cleanliness as well. The beds were comfortable and the Inn was very quiet at night despite having most rooms filled. No frills with regards to pool or spa, but for a nice, quiet, clean place to sleep at an affordable price, it was a great value and we would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were cramped; stains on carpets and dirty bathrooms. The AC did not work, and front desk / owner said they were cheap Chinese units; parts would be in in a week or so. Didn't really care and said AC is not fundamental to the stay?? Pillows were old and lumpy. Will never stay there again. Breakfast was stale boxed cereal with Kroger brand milk left out in the jugs. Really bad. Stay elsewhere!

Clean, comfortable bed and pillows, no smells, friendly staff. Adequate breakfast. Safe area. Very enjoyable stay. So enjoyable we came back for a second night even though the room cost more than the night before. Would definitely stay here again.

The carpet and bedspreads were stained. Since Covid I carry a can of Lysol to spray everything I will touch in a room. Afterwards the hand towel was really gross proving they don't really clean. Staff was not friendly at check-in but better at checkout.

The room was clean but outdated. The soundproofing in the room was not very good; I could hear my neighbors sneeze, cough, and use of the restroom. This wasn't the first hotel I stayed at on this road trip, but it was the first one that made me use my earplugs. However, the breakfast area was very cute and clean. The continental breakfast selection was great.

the only downside of this place is the HARD HARD HARD BEDS. It was very clean but just could not sleep on the hard bed. If you sleep good on plywood this place is for you.

On check in the male worker was rude and unprofessional not inviting and greetful to my husband. He asked him if we had pets and he said 2 dogs in the RV. Later the male worker stopped me and asked me about our pets and I told him again they are in the RV. He said multiple times pets are not allowed and would not stop almost to the point of accusing me of bringing them in. I told him I knew pets were not allowed bc I search the website. He said people sneak them in. I said search me they are in the RV. My husband told him this is our 3 rd year to stay here and we always loved it and he needed to be nicer. He got mad and said there are cameras and I’ll call the sheriff. It was an unprofessional experience. We dove 12 hrs and just wanted to check in and go to bed. We will not be back to stay here only bc of his actions.

Conveniently located in the middle of town with a reasonable price tag. There is nothing fancy, which I like. It has a small town feel with a friendly and attentive staff. We have stayed here several times and will return on our next trip to Pagosa Springs.

Perfect place for a stop on our road trip. Nothing fancy but everything you need! Breakfast was good for us too. Fresh fruit, cereal, oatmeal, bread items, juice, coffee, hot cocoa. Lots of nice touches around the lobby.

There was a dispenser with iced water near the desk at check-in. The room was clean, but the shower head was just a little too low (by just a couple inches) for my six foot height. Breakfast was served near the check-in desk, it was decent and continental but there was no real protein option.

Hotel room was clean, they had a minfridge, coffe maker and a microwave. Beds were comfy enough. Really all we needed. Thin walls. Breakfast was, cereal, bread, bagels, muffins and a couple other items. There wasnt anything hot to eat, that we saw. But still was all we needed. Overall not a bad stay, 8 minutes from the hit springs
