Great location and the rooms were nice, great welcome. The hostal is on the 2nd floor, they should put a sign for that somewhere as you come in. We had a comfortable quiet room with en suite bathroom. The receptionist was really friendly and fast, when I asked for extra pillows. Great service! I would recommend this hostal en stay here next time when I visit. It's in the middle of the centre and you can walk everywhere. Unfortunately the link doesn't work to add photos because I have some good ones of the hostal

Con: The hostal is in desperate need of renovations. The rooms and bathroom are extremely small. The towels were rough and some of them had a stain on it. The garbage from the previous customer was still in the bathroom. If you need a blow dryer or iron, you have to go to the small hallway and get it from a basket. It gave me cheap motel vibes. It was expensive for a hostal. Pro: it has AC and has an elevator (it’s very small though). It is in dead center of Gran via, lots of restaurants and bars. The receptionist Israel was very helpful with planning an itinerary.

The staff were excellent, especially Israel - he went out of his way to help me! The room was very clean & modern & the area in Madrid was fantastic. It was also very safe with a code entry from the street and in the internal doors. The only negative was that I was woken at 2-3am on two of my nights by the guests in the next room who were talking very loudly. They were reminded of the quiet rule, but didn’t seem to care. So it wasn’t the staff’s fault - they were just inconsiderate guests.

It is a nice hostel in a great location. The staff is very nice, helpful and friendly. The only issue I encountered was that the A/C was not working. It turns out that there are no independent room A/C unit controls in each room. The A/C is controlled remotely for the whole building. They had turned off the A/C option and only heat was available due to the change of the season. Although it was a little cool outside at night, the room was really warm. I was told to open the window but the room never cool down. Other than that it is a great place!

Gran Via Caddesine 200-250 metre yürüme mesafesinde olan otelin konumu Madrid’e gezi maksatlı gelenler için çok elverişli. Check-in öncesinde e-posta yoluyla yapılan bilgilendirmeler oldukça iyiydi, bu sayede “self-check-in” sürecinde sorun yaşamadım. Otel oldukça temiz. Burada konakladığım 4 gün süresince her gün oda temizliği yapıldı. Çalışanlar iyi, konum harika. Kesinlikle tercih edilecek bir otel.

The hostal is located in a very busy street so you have restaurants, stores and metro stations all over. It's very convenient because you can walk to most places. The really bad thing is that our bathroom smelled TERRIBLE. We had to buy an air freshner and even then it didn't help. It smelled like a really dirty public toilet. Plus, the installations were not in the best shape.

Excellent location for shops, bars and restaurants. Within walking distance from moat tourist attractions. Exceptionally clean with all you could ask for available, hairdryer, towels etc in foyer. Very friendly reception staff and housekeeping did an excellent job. Would definitely stay again on my next visit to Madrid.

Está bien ubicado el hostal y cerca prácticamente de todo , plaza del sol, plaza mayor , lo único que pongo claro es que estaban haciendo remodelaciones ( pintura y barnizado ) el cual el olor era insoportable en las áreas comunes, ( pasillos ) y se metía el olor hasta el cuarto, yo recomiendo no hacer esto cuando hay huéspedes, ya que es horrible la estancia en tu cuarto

The rooms have shutters and to make it quieter from street noise, lower them to create a dead air space. This will not stop noise from the thin walls, something our neighbours should have realized as they had a loud and long late night tryst. We felt we were there…

Overall, it was good. Location is good and the facility is old. The rooms is rather small and the bathroom is small. There is only one soap for your face and bath and it looks a low price soap. A recommendation to the manager: Please be generous with the soap as guests need good shampoo and soap for bath.

It was a fabulous location and the hotel was really clean. The staff were lovely. The only downside was that the website publicized an in room safe which was not true. There was none. This was disappointing but otherwise a fab stay

The staff at reception desk were kind and polite. The room was very clean and had a modern decor. The location is amazing. Amazing old building and elevator. For the price and location it was definitely worth it. Some minor things I didn’t like- water was leaking from the shower at night which was really annoying. Bathroom was tiny and the door closing inwards meant really limited space. Also no shelf in the bathroom to keep toiletries. Room was really small for three people (2 adults and one teen). I could hear lots of noise from the outside of the room in the morning. No kettle available.

Espectacular. La ubicación a 3 cuadras de la gran vía. El personal excelente. Muy serviciales. Nos cuidaron las maletas hasta la tarde sin problemas lo cual es muy valorado cuando tu vuelo sale tarde y dejas el hotel pero queres seguir recorriendo sin en peso del equipaje. Some staff were helpful and kind. One of the female front desk employees was stern, abrupt, and not really helpful specifically if you would ask help specifically if you were robbed. Lost your cellphone and wallet and nobody to turn too. I find she was really harsh and unprofessional. The facility also lack computer that the guest can use in times of emergency. Also a telephone that you can call internationally.

Place is right on Hortaleza Street in Chueca area. Close to everything. The check in. Process was fine and when my room was ready they sent me a text to advise me of it since I flew in to Madrid in the morning.

The hotel grade doesn’t reflect its reality. No staff at the reception desk after 8pm so neighbors were noisy and none to complain. Rooms have no comfort. Old mattress, very uncomfortable and bathroom dirty. Towels have not been changed in spite that they were put on the floor. The service is very bad. All in all its very surprising that this hotel has a very good grade.....

This hostel is the perfect location, Gran via is a 4 minute walk. other attractions, restaurants and convenience stores are near the hotel, especially bars. Father down you will find tapas bars and outdoor dinning, 10-15 min walks. All kinds of transportation are around. Train station is a 20 min drive from the hotel definitely recommend

El lugar está a solo 100 metros de la estación del metro Gran Vía, sobre esta avenida y todo está cerca, Monumentos, Plazas, Templo, donde comer, tiendas donde comprar comida o bevioda a un lado. El personal muy amable, me ayudaron con encontrar los sitios que queria visitar aún en otras ciudades y el taxi que me consiguieron para ir al aeropuerto, puntual y seguro.
