Passé la surprise d'entrer dans un immeuble lambda rien à dire. L'hôtel est parfaitement situé à 2 pas de Grand via et du centre ville. Bien que situé dans un quartier animé il donne sur une place parfaitement calme. Le personnel est très sympa aidant et aimable...Pour une escapade à Madrird c'est parfait. Ah aussi un accord avec un parking voisin est parfait si on vient en voiture

Staid here for my trip to Madrid. The hotel is easy to find. They have an elevator to get your luggage up to the 3rd floor where the hotel is. They share the building with other hostals. The staff was friendly and spoke English, but rather reserved. If you are from U.S. this just seems to be a cultural aspect to Madrid. The location is great. If is within 1 mile of every major tourist spot. The only downside is the hotel has marble floor so sound carries very widely and you can hear conversations in nearby rooms. It was very quiet at night however. I had a room away from the plaza and it was quiet at night. They do not have any amenities or a big lobby so it’s basically a room. The room was plain but very clean and comfortable.

Staff are friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to store our suitcases before check in so we can explore Madrid on our own. Hotel is safe and secured at all times. Only guests can come in and out with the keycard. The rooms are clean. Happy with our stay

The location is perfect ! loved the neighborhood. close to shops and restaurants, transportation and things and places to see. Happy to have the elevator. The room was good, nothing to make complaints about - our room was quiet, it faced the inside courtyard … but mentioning coffee is for a small fee in the “lobby” , I would have preferred a softer pillow and a few amenities, I would have also preferred softer towels. Our room was small but cozy. The staff was kind, we checked in early for a small fee.

Good but basic hotel, was a bit unsure about what Hostal entailed but it was a basic hotel pretty much. The hotel was run great the receptionists were always very helpful, in the room there is no hairdryer or iron, but no problem to borrow. There are two minor things to note on. Firstly, when booking the standard dubble rooms, you have a window but it doesn’t really give any natural light since it faces towards the building complex . Secondly, the doors and walls are very thin, so if you are a light sleeper it might be bothersome. But beside that it was great. Would definitely stay there again.

Det var ingen spørsmål på forrige side, derfor svarte jeg bare usikker. Hotellet er rent, hyggelig innredning. Veldig vennlige og hjelpsomme folk i resepsjonen. God frokost i nabohotell etter avtale. Beliggenheten er super på den lille plassen uten trafikk. Minus: man må bruke 1 euro på safen hver gang en låser den.

La chambre 312 subit une nuisance sonore permanente avec les bruits de chasse d'eau et d'évacation des eaux des voisins. Room 312 is subject to constant noise disturbance due to flushing and water drainage sounds from neighboring rooms. Best to avoid it. ES Atención, algunas habitaciones tienen ventanas que dan a una pared, sin ninguna luz natural. La habitación 312 sufre una molestia sonora constante debido a los ruidos de las cisternas y del desagüe de agua de las habitaciones vecinas. Mejor evitarla.

The room was so small you could barely move. The bathroom was so small you had to sit sideways on the toilet. The towels were like sandpaper. That place is a nightmare and I’m not picky.

El soporte de la ducha estaba muy floja y no había jabón en el dispenser de la ducha, pero lo solucionaron enseguida al reclamar. Las paredes parecen de poco espesor y por eso se escuchan conversaciones de la habitación contigua y ellos escuchan la nuestra. Hay que habkar en voz baja.

Me senti muy bien por el trato y la atecion. Especialmente Cristina y Clara, quienes siempre me trataron con amabilidad y me proporcionaron la informacion deseada. Muy amables todos desde las personas que atienden la recepcion hasta las que asean las habitaciones. Todo muy limpio y tranquilo. Gracias.

The hostel is in a great neighborhood, the plaza is lively, the views are phenomenal. The building is old and unique with wooden staircase and ornate railings. There is an elevator too. The hostel is very clean with large rooms. Staff speaks English and is very welcoming. We only stayed for one night but enjoyed it.

Staid here for my trip to Madrid. The hotel is easy to find. They have an elevator to get your luggage up to the 3rd floor where the hotel is. They share the building with other hostals. The staff was friendly and spoke English, but rather reserved. If you are from U.S. this just seems to be a cultural aspect to Madrid. The location is great. If is within 1 mile of every major tourist spot. The only downside is the hotel has marble floor so sound carries very widely and you can hear conversations in nearby rooms. It was very quiet at night however. I had a room away from the plaza and it was quiet at night. They do not have any amenities or a big lobby so it’s basically a room. The room was plain but very clean and comfortable.

The location is perfect ! loved the neighborhood. close to shops and restaurants, transportation and things and places to see. Happy to have the elevator. The room was good, nothing to make complaints about - our room was quiet, it faced the inside courtyard … but mentioning coffee is for a small fee in the “lobby” , I would have preferred a softer pillow and a few amenities, I would have also preferred softer towels. Our room was small but cozy. The staff was kind, we checked in early for a small fee.

Très bon séjour à l'hôtel Vazquez pendant notre week-end découverte de Madrid: accueil, gentillesse, professionnalisme du personnel souriant et à l'écoute. Chambre et sdb propres et fonctionnelles. La formule Petit-déjeuner possible à l'hôtel voisin est très pratique. Je recommande vivement Vaszquez de Mella.

Nothing fancy, but clean and adequate! A double room did feel small with me and my partner (bathroom especially - shower is very tight and hard to avoid flooding over side of the tub) but for a few days it was fine ! Staff cleaned our room every day and the location- right in the heart of Cheuca- can’t be beat. Helpful staff, and the hostal felt very safe. Theres also an option to buy a ticket to a breakfast buffet at a nearby hotel Which was very good. Overall I am Satisfied and would stay here again next time I am in Madrid

Det var ingen spørsmål på forrige side, derfor svarte jeg bare usikker. Hotellet er rent, hyggelig innredning. Veldig vennlige og hjelpsomme folk i resepsjonen. God frokost i nabohotell etter avtale. I stayed here with 2 other friends. We got the room with the 3 twin beds. The room was a great size, the bathroom was clean, and the location could not have been better. We’re all girls and we felt so safe in and outside the area. We have a wonderful stay, thank you so much!

Amazing location right in the heart of Chueca and steps from Gran Via. Staff was very helpful. Room was great (wish it had a view!) Would highly recommend it!
