Den mikro pool var på størrelse med et normalt badekar, og så var den godt gammel/brugt at se på. Så ikke speciel attraktiv at skulle i. Velkomsten var fin men en nøgle til døren så man selv skal huske at låse når man går (i 2025?) Service eller mangel på samme i den total intetsigende restaurant. Dyrt og intet mad på tallerkenen, og kan ikke skifte rundt på deres menu, trods det er samme priser man vælger.

This hotel advertises an airport shuttle service. Pay attention to the prepositions - they offer shuttle service TO the airport. Not from. They recommend you take a taxi from the airport to the hotel. This 5 minute car ride will cost you approximately $50 +/- $5. You can try public transit- if you can find it. This will take approximately an hour and will cost you about $20 per person. Welcome to Iceland.

Hotel Berg was such a nice treat to stay in our last night in Iceland and is extremely convenient to get to the Keflevik airport. Lovely atmosphere with a front lounge area you wanted to hang out in. We took advantage of the hot tub at night which was such a bonus luxury. Would stay again!

Landing at 6am, we were fortunate enough to get checked in closer to 9am. Rokms were clean. The hotel itself is pretty cozy and sits right by the water. Would stay again.

This hotel seems nicer in pictures than in person. The bathroom cleanliness was a bit disappointing on my check-in. I saw previous guest’s garbage of feminine hygiene and dental floss left behind for me… The shower wall had molds which was unpleasant to see. The water bottle is unavailable and front desk staff stated to drink from the bathroom sink. Although I saw bottles of water behind the counter. I only stayed for 1 night to catch an early flight. I would not recommend if you plan to stay for long. The town is nice and quiet but nothing to do - just Blue Lagoon that’s about 25 minutes away from the hotel. FYI - this is a 3 star hotel.

The hotel is quite a bit away from the airport which surprised me. The rooms are really small, also lack some charging outlets by the beds. The beds and linens are very comfortable, but there is no AC in the room, this is quite common in Iceland. You can’t really open the window to cool down the room because the wind is too strong, so the only option is to use a fan, which the hotel staff happily provided. Service was top notch, but due to the location I don’t recommend it to anyone who doesn’t have a car or want to stay close to the airport to catch an early flight.

Wir hatten das Zimmer 212 in der zweiten Etage und in der Nähe der Rezeption, man hört wenn Leute mit Koffer ankommen, auch wenn das Fenster zu ist. Badezimmerfliessen aus dem Boden waren dreckig/veraltet, Renovierung ist dringend nötig. Es gibt keine Duschgel, nur Shampoo und Conditioner. Zimmer war sehr klein, Matratze war OK, die Bettdecken waren etwas gelb(man sieht am Ende wo es offen ist), das Kissen war hoch und unbequem, und es gab keinen Ersatz. Preisleistung stimmt definitiv nicht. Einzige Vorteil ist die Nähe zum Flughafen und das Restaurant Vorort, die wir nicht getestet haben.

We stayed there one night. Very clean. The front desk person was very nice and helpful. She organized our airport transfer from the hotel. FYI say free hotel shuttle, that is only from hotel to airport. When you arrive to Iceland you must get your own transportation to the hotel.

Very close to KEF airport. Great location for roads - I’ve stayed here many times and is my go-to location. 20 minutes from the Bluelagoon and plenty in the town to eat. Service is always great and the staff are lovely.

Room was fine for a place close to airport. I was traveling with my family and had a separate room. When I went down early to have breakfast the woman rudely told me I had to share a table with another woman while no one else was in the room. All the breakfasts had been laid out and they wouldn’t let me sit alone. She was super rude and the breakfast was the least satisfying one of the trip.

The hotel was conveniently located near the airport. The shuttle for our departing flight was good. Need to take a cab to get to the hotel if you are arriving into Iceland. The front desk staff member was not very welcoming and she didn't offer any information about the area of ask if we had any questions. The highlight of the hotel was the restaurant where the service was warm and welcoming and the food was amazing! Highly recommend the restaurant. If you have a car this would be a good option for a hotel with easy access to nearby venues and scenic routes.

Good hotel for the night. Its in a industrial zoned area so not exacty as beautiful as the pictures would make you believe. All the photos are accurate just keep in mind that youre not in a beautiful location. The rooms are quite small and the poll is rather small more a personal pool for a family then a pool for the public. We had two girls posing for tiktok and it made us not want to get in with them as they showed off. But again, its close to the airport so its a good stop and go for coming in late or going the next day.

Great breakfast, airport shuttle to airport. We ran into problems getting to the hotel form the airport as we didn’t have a booster and needed to call a special cab that had one or we couldn’t get a ride. Also it cost over $200 to take a cab to the city one way; which was very hard. However, I’d stay here again as it overlooked the port and was clean and good area

This hotel is very beautiful and situated in a serene area near the sea. It is actually right above the famous troll cave of the area. I picked it for the free shuttle early in the morning. I didn’t want to deal with getting up even earlier from Reykjavík and I also did not want to just stay right at the airport. This place was perfect, we slept so well. In the morning the man driving us to the airport was very kind and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel!

This is a lovely hotel less than 10 minutes from the airport. We stayed our last night in Iceland. It was so quiet and clean. The hotel’s restaurant was fantastic. We had a delightful dinner and breakfast there. We took advantage of the heated pool before we left. We would go back in a heartbeat.
