Not what we expected. Too many people sharing bathroom, toilet and kitchen. Kitchen only had 2 cooking rings for 10 rooms. Only one toilet and bathroom for 4 rooms on ground floor. Upstairs rooms had to come out of building to get to ground floor to use kitchen. Room smelt of stale fish due to proximity of harbour...not hotels fault to be fair. Tap in room sink dripped all the time. Poor sound insulation. However easy to find, warm and comfy bed. Hotel in much worse vondition than photos on website show. Kind and helpful staff though think they are not based on site. Parking outside was plentiful.

This was a self check-in, where there was a post-it with our name and room number. Everything was clean and nice, my only nit-pick is on the kitchen, they only had 2 stove rings, and they were 4 different groups in the tiny kitchen, so we had to wait a while to start cooking.

Dies beiseite gestellt, war es jedoch eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft mit einer guten Lage (direkt am Hafen in der Nähe von allen Restaurants/Imbissen von Höfn). Die wirklich außerordentlich sauberen Gemeinschaftsbäder boten viel Privatsphäre und das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit bei Fragen. Der Check-In war durch Zettel an einer Pinnwand sehr einfach geregelt. Für uns Vier mit vier Koffern war das Zimmer etwas klein, aber dennoch für eine Nacht durchaus gut machbar.

Ein guesthouse günstig gelegen am Hafen mit Parkplätzen vor der Türe. Ich habe im Eingangsbereich meinen Namen mit Zimmernummer und Schlüssel vorgefunden. Es würde kein Personal gesehen während des Aufenthalts. Das Vierbettzimmer war winzig ohne jeden Komfort, aber sauber. Wir hatten Zugang zur seitlich gelegenen Terrasse, wo wir endlich mal nasse Sachen trocknen konnten. Selbstverpflegung ist in der Küche im Haupthaus möglich. Alles extrem zweckmäßig und in die Jahre gekommen. Gemeinschafts-Sanitärräume waren düster aber sauber. Insgesamt die mieseste Unterkunft auf unserem roadtrip. Die Bilder sind sehr sehr gut gemacht, wenn nicht sogar fleißig bearbeitet und spiegeln die Realität nur teilweise wieder. Es war im Grunde OK aber wir haben uns einfach nicht wohl gefühlt. A very good place to stay in Höfn. Close to the harbor, so you could have a good view of the sea. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped.

This was my first stay at the guesthouse, so I can't make comparisons. I stayed on the first floor, and there were four bedrooms with two beds each (? Not sure. There are two shower rooms (there are no shelves or hanging space, so you cannot bring your towels or personal items). The bathroom is so small that it is difficult to move around, and there is only one for four bedrooms. (Probably at least eight guests)

Had a great stay in the guesthouse. I was on main floor and found it was very quiet even though most of the rooms were occupied. Called ahead to get my room number and the key was in the door when I arrived which was great! There is a shared bathroom but I never had to wait to use it, and it was very clean. The shared kitchen had everything needed to make dinner, they even supplied basics like tea/coffee/spices etc. and plenty of seating. The room was quite large and very comfortable. Would stay here again!

It was fine. It was convenient to restaurants in town. They were doing construction on it but that was ok. The bedroom and bathroom was clean. Shower was fine. Room was a bit small for two twin beds--they could not really be separated so it was like sleeping in the same bed. They were supposed to contact me the day before with check in instructions, but I didnt get any info and was a bit worried till I reached someone by phone. Once there, the check in was fine.

Rooms extra small, i think prisoners have bigger and more comfortable spaces, also very dirty and withiut plugs to recharge electric devices... Bathroom was horrible dirtyamd only one for 5 rooms.. Kitchen only 2 pots for all the guest.. next time I will sleep in my car..

The bed was not really confortable and it wasn’t soundproofed at all. I could here the men next to me roll in is bed. It’s ok but not worth the price. Kitchen is good!

We had an issue with adding a payment to a reservation and we were met after hours at the door by the property owner. After finding out that we may not be incredibly comfortable with a shared bathroom, she offered an upstairs private apartment that slept our whole party. Great customer service and very kind lady. We were thankful for her generosity and flexibility!

Wir hatten Zugang zur seitlich gelegenen Terrasse, wo wir endlich mal nasse Sachen trocknen konnten. Selbstverpflegung ist in der Küche im Haupthaus möglich. Alles extrem zweckmäßig und in die Jahre gekommen. Gemeinschafts-Sanitärräume waren düster aber sauber. Insgesamt die mieseste Unterkunft auf unserem roadtrip. Die Bilder sind sehr sehr gut gemacht, wenn nicht sogar fleißig bearbeitet und spiegeln die Realität nur teilweise wieder. Es war im Grunde OK aber wir haben uns einfach nicht wohl gefühlt. Ein gastronomisches Angebot gibt's hier nicht., Internet war problemlos vorhanden wie überall

It was fine. It was convenient to restaurants in town. They were doing construction on it but that was ok. The bedroom and bathroom was clean. Shower was fine. Room was a bit small for two twin beds--they could not really be separated so it was like sleeping in the same bed. They were supposed to contact me the day before with check in instructions, but I didnt get any info and was a bit worried till I reached someone by phone. Once there, the check in was fine.

les douches sont communes mais où est la salle bains?? uniquement un mini lavabo dans le w.c ou l on doit s asseoir de travers faute de place…. j ai du attendre une heure pour avoir ma chambre car personne n était présent à la réception tout cela inacceptable compte tenu du prix très élevé … à déconseiller fortement

Property was quaint, great location and view of marina, room worked perfectly for 5. Took a little to find the upstairs room but staff were very helpful and had it accessible for us as we called ahead due to travel & arriving late at night. Thank you!!

Had a great stay in the guesthouse. I was on main floor and found it was very quiet even though most of the rooms were occupied. Called ahead to get my room number and the key was in the door when I arrived which was great! There is a shared bathroom but I never had to wait to use it, and it was very clean. The shared kitchen had everything needed to make dinner, they even supplied basics like tea/coffee/spices etc. and plenty of seating. The room was quite large and very comfortable. Would stay here again!

La cocina estaba bien equipada, había mesas suficientes para los huéspedes, la habitación bien equipada aunque quizás le faltaba algún enchufe. Habitación, ducha y lavabo limpios, lo único que el lavabo un poco justo y la ducha enorme. La chica ofrece café, té y cacao gratis para servirte cuando quieras. La ubicación muy buena porque está al lado de la N1 y situado al lado del mar. Volvería a repetir.
