Excellent stay. It was quiet on a Saturday night. Bedding was nice and clean. Pool and hot tub were fun. Breakfast was good.

What hotel would do a 5 year elevator inspection right in the middle of morning check out?!?!?!? La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Denver Gateway Park did! We took the cart up the elevator, filled it and the stroller up to the top, then 20ish minutes later, took those and our 2 under 2 kids back to the elevator to find it not working at 8:30 am! I went downstairs and the technician said "yep, 5 year inspection, been scheduled for a long time" without a care in the world about the hotel customers. WHAT??? During Check out time?!?!? Absolutely ridiculous! There were elderly people with canes having to carry their suitcases down 4 flights of stairs also. It took me about an hour to carry everything down the stairs while my daughter watched the babies and, seriously, as I'm loading the last couple of bags loading into my suburban, and the inspectors were driving away. DO INSPECTION IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY WHEN NO ONE IS COMING OR GOING!!! Everything else about this hotel was great, but for any hotel to shut their elevator down for an inspection during any checkout hours is unthoughtful, absurd, and moronic!

well, criteria for a great experience are not high, however, especially in Colorado, the no smoking, no marijuana use seems to be successful in this hotel. The first time I've had that experience in a few years at any hotel, even high end ones. THANK YOU!!!!!!!

We purchased two rooms. There was an issue with the air conditioning in our room We set it when we checked in at 3:30 and when we came back at 8:30 it was still not cool. Called front desk and they let us know there was no maintenance available and that the hotel was completely booked so we couldn't move. We never received a call back to see how we were doing or if there was any plan to do anything about it. The other room we reserved was fine. Clean and the air conditioning worked great. We've stayed at LaQuinta's before and never had an issue. We were disappointed they wouldn't do anything to help out with the air conditioning issue.
