My husband and I were on vacation visiting family and friends in Perú. Suites Larco 656 had everything we could ask for. We had a nice view to Avenida Larco. The suite had a big dining/living room, a bedroom and a nice bathroom. We also had a refrigerator and a microwave and a sink, so we could eat fresh fruit that we bought in Metro, which is around the corner from where we were. The reservation included free breakfast, so we did save money. The staff were very nice. There is a very nice area on the roof of the building, which I used once for a nice change. Very convenient location and we will definitely go back to Suites Larco every time we are in Lima.

Other than the weird door knob locks in the rooms the place is average for the price and in a city center location. Also staff and front desk agents were very professional and friendly. Exception was one front desk agent during my check-in which he was slow and I needed to alert him of my arrival.

I’ve been staying at 656 lacto for the past 25 years and the place looks identical as 25 years ago. No upgrades whatsoever. I enjoy staying there cause the cost is not bad and the location is perfect. Cleanliness of room is not the greatest, especially bathtub was dirty. Everything else was ok but not the greatest. Breakfast is good but we get eggs every single day and no meats at all. Eggs, either boiled or scrambled, bread, coffee, juice and fruits. Breakfast it’s included so really can’t complain about that, just wish we could get some kind of sausage, or something similar to bacon to start the day. Overall, good and somewhat cheap place to stay

The room was great, bigger than i had expected. Bed was comfortable, shower was food, if a little tough to control the temperature. My only issue was the street noise. I did get used to it, but it was a lot.

This hotel is well-priced in a really good area that’s close to everything you need. The front desk and all the staff is very friendly. The problem I had was that I wasn’t advised of the noise and construction that may be happening each day while I’m there. One day I was in the room all day and the drilling and banging, that seemed to be right above my room, was going on from 11am until 4pm. I already had anxiety and was a bit depressed so this hotel during the day was meant to help me rest and relax, but that day was gruesome for me and since I booked through Hotels.com and it was cheap I didn’t ask for refund. However, I hope I can get some credit back because no hotel guest should be subjected to constant drilling and loud banging for 5 consecutive hours.

Mi vuelo de conexión era por la noche, asi que llegué antes del check-in solicitando que si posea entrar dos horas antes, pues solo iba a ocupar el hotel 05 horas para descanso, sin embargo no se permitió, con un trato cortante y nada amable. Great location. A block and a half away from the AirPort Express bus service which makes it super easy to get to and from the airport. The place is vintage. All the pictures online show wood or laminate flooring but our room was all carpet. Not terrible, just older and slightly musty. Seems like an old business building and the doors feel like they are ultra security in a shady neighborhood. But that’s just the feel, it’s not bad. Very kind service and offered to store our bags after checkout. Lots of great restaurants nearby, bus stop close for the airport and a close walk to Miraflores mall and Barranco.

This is a 2 star hostal, so you get for what you pay and you can not complaint. The bed and pillows are confortable. The bathroom is clean and the shower has plenty of hot water. The bteakfast is very good. Other hotels in Av. LARCO charge the double or triple.

The buffet is extremely low quality food and served in unsanitary conditions. I ate in there one time only. I go and get some hard boiled eggs and cheese and take it to my room. I am surprised that the hotel managers choose such a dismal level unsanitary buffet setup.

The buffet is of low quality: UNSANITARY with the lack of proper serving vessels, and the food items are not replenished often enough. I went to the buffet at 9:20 one morning and there were no scrambled eggs, there was one boiled egg, and not enough yogurt drink for even one glassful. Breakfast time was infinitely better before the buffet was created. Don’t worry: I still like staying at your hotel because of the hood hotel staff members.

Larco Suites was a great stay. The staff is super friendly, it was quiet, and I slept like a baby. The hotel is by dining, shopping, and plenty of transportation. The longest we waited for an Uber was 4 minutes. If you eat light, the breakfast is perfect. If you need a hearty breakfast, plan to eat somewhere else. I would absolutely stay here again!
