It was an absolutely amazing stay. The pool and hot tub were very clean and well kept!

We chose this place because the photos just made it look elevated over the neighboring hotels. So we spent a little extra for the cabin feel in the lobby, and hot tub. I was super bummed the hot tub didn’t work, and we didn’t know until we got there. There was no attempt to make up for that. So at that point it would have cost us way more to go elsewhere. The breakfast was functional, and met basic standards. The showers in the room worked, but the shower curtain would not stay closed. So we just used our towels to sop up the extra water. Other than that it was fine.

Property and rooms clean and well-presented. Good breakfast, parking, and comfortable bed. No elevator makes it difficult lugging luggage up and down. All hotels, including this one, need to check sink drains in bathrooms. This one did not drain effectively and we have experienced that in several others this week. Otherwise, clean, convenient and near restaurants and airport. Caution to all travelers from Labor Day on—help is scarce after help leaves for the season so plan your patience levels accordingly.

New and clean. Room was good. Check in staff should have mentioned that they didn't have an elevator for second floor guests.

They advertise an indoor pool and hot tub. The hot tub was broke and the heater for the pool wasn't working so we couldn't use either one.

Nice place with a good breakfast, but no elevator so keep that in mind if you might have trouble carrying your luggage upstairs. Nice pool and hot tub.

If you want to use the pool, forget it. The pool was the only reason I stayed at this hotel, but it was turned off while I was there. Staff didn't care, didn't even apologize. Staff took my name and number for manager to get back to me, but manager never did.

I have stayed here before and will stay here again because it is close to my family but the carpets in the rooms are pretty dirty and old, especially for the price they charge in the summer months.

2 out of three wash clothes where stained. The toilet seat is in bad need of replacement. The shower curtain was moldy. Check out is at 11, the housekeepers knocked at 9

The carpets in the rooms of this property are disgusting. The bathrooms are in serious need of repair. We got in really late, so in addition to our phones, we asked for a wake-up call, and never received one. Checked the phone and it's not even hooked up. The clock is the room was set for the wrong time, we asked for housekeeping twice on our stay and never received it once. Had to go and ask for clean towels at the front desk. The front desk staff was absent because she was making breakfast. The only good thing about this property is the location.

Appreciate the clean room and nice staff. Hotel has no elevator, is old but room was fresh and clean. I liked the western style. Breakfast and coffee were good. Hotel is next to highway but was quiet enough and beds were comfortable. Typical off highway, city location.

Terrible place to stay the cleaning chemicals smell was so strong it made us sick. We had to leave early in our stay with no refund thus far.

We were welcomed when we arrived. The place was clean and comfortable. The area was very quite. Close enough to town if you need something. Breakfast was good. We would go back to Mountain View Lodge for another stay. Nice to get away.

Train goes bye in late eve

The king bed we got was so old you could feel the springs. We ended up buying a $100 foam topper so we could sleep at night.

Used the hotel as an overnight before going to Yellowstone National Park, very convenient from the airport, the rooms were simple but very comfortable, breakfast in the morning was good. The rooms were quiet, we had an outside light on our window which meant it wasn’t pitch black but the blackout curtains still did a reasonable job. Would use again when we next go to Yellowstone!

We stayed here last year and it was such a great experience that we made it a meeting point for a family trip with a stay on each side of our trip. Both reservations were for a room with a king sized bed. The first stay came with the quality we expected except for a fridge that did not work which wasn’t a huge deal as others in our party had working fridges. We were in a king suite and everything was clean and comfortable. The second stay at the end of the trip was awful. We were given a “leftover” king handicap room with a small stall shower taken up by a seat which flipped up but left nowhere to put any toiletries. The horribly uncomfortable bed sagged, squeaked, caused a sleepless night and backaches before an early flight back to the east coast. The four pillows on the bed were the size of throw pillows and we had to ask for a “full sized” one from the desk. We were so disappointed as we’d made these reservations back in the spring and felt like we were given the leftover rooms that need upgrading since we didn’t check in until after 3 pm. We certainly will be looking for another place to stay for any future trips to Bozeman.

It was fine, nothing special. Rooms were either on parking lot or vey close to highway and the mountain view was no different than the whole area.

WiFi was spotty at best, couldn’t get the TV to work, couldn’t figure out the light switches (one switch in an odd place controlled all the outlets) and the desk person was taking a smoke break right in front of the main entrance. We needed help but he was “on a break” and didn’t want to help us. There was no one else at the desk.

The Stay was about what we expected. We had room 202 at the top of the stairs (Avoid this room) While the room was dated, the King suite was very spacious and very clean. The problem with this room, its the location on the 2nd floor next to the pool. what we didn't notice until we were ready for bed was the noise in the room between the bathroom and bedroom was so loud it was difficult to sleep. a pump or heater would go on every 20 minutes or so and stay on for 20 minutes or so. We did not get a good nights sleep (one night stay) we complained to the front desk and the girl said Oh, i'm sorry, i heard someone mention that before. I asked then why would you not tell us about it when you checked us in? no answer, i asked for another room, SORRY we're booked, there are no other rooms. Breakfast. limited selection, sausage and eggs were cold. we stayed at 6 hotels during our 10 day tryip through 4 states. this one ranked at the bottom because of the room noise

Rooms are fine. Beds are old and a bit uncomfortable. This is our 3rd stay at this pet friendly hotel. Right price. Breakfast is just okay. Front desk staff is hard to find most any time of the day. Check out front, they are usually smoking there.

This was the 2nd time we've stayed at this property. Both times it was excellent. The front desk staff went above and beyond, they were extremely helpful and friendly. Very reasonable price for Bozeman. Highly recommend!

At check in the man who was checking us in was rude! Then when we got to our room it was a handicap shower that we could barely stand in we are not disable! We stayed in the room because the drive from MO. Was long and we were exhausted. We hoped to make this a regular stopping point but have decided there are many places to stay in Bozeman. Plus note the rest of the staff was very kind!!

Overall, the hotel is fine. It’s clean, comfortable, and convenient in location. There’s a pool + hot tub and breakfast. The majority of the staff is also very friendly and kind. That all being said, our experience left such a bad taste that we will make sure to never come back. And we don’t recommend this place to any of our friends. The GM/owner was incredibly rude and unprofessional. There was no warning or signage around the hotel saying that they were going to be paving the parking lot on one of the days of our stay. We had taken our other car to go explore and bike at Big Sky, which is 50 miles and over an hour’s drive on a two lane road from where the hotel is. The GM called us while we were biking and demanded to know why we hadn’t moved our car before leaving. We had no idea that we couldn’t park at the hotel where we paid and were going to be staying at that night (we had already been there for one night). He said we should drive all the way back to move the car and that it was our responsibility to ask about parking. That is absurd and makes absolutely no sense at all. He was super rude and snippy and talked over us constantly. I felt like a child being scolded in school. Shame on you. It’s not your customers’ job to accommodate your terrible lack of planning and general lack of communication. Don’t stay here unless you like being disrespected.

We were in town for a hockey tournament and we had a family member catching a flight early the next day. It is a very convenient place to stay to get to the airport. Twenty minutes after we checked out our family member was bumped to a later flight, I called the hotel and the staff allowed us to come back to the room until 11:00 so we didn’t have to aimlessly wait at the airport in our vehicle or at a restaurant. The staff was very welcoming and I love that it is locally owned. If I stay in Bozeman again I will definitely book a stay there.

This was overall a good experience would have rated it higher, but the front desk clerk who was very nice was being “schooled” Buy an older employee or family member, I couldn’t tell? as she tried to check me in. The front desk clerk handled it very professionally, but the older employees impatience and nagging at the clerk was more than a little irritating.

We have stayed in Bozeman many times and tried Mountain View for the first time. Very convenient location on the frontage road into downtown. We were a little nervous about the smell of cleaning chemicals when we walked in to the lobby but the room had none of that. The room was clean, fresh and had very comfortable beds!! Staff was friendly, breakfast was standard continental fare. We will come again.

This property was nice, clean and met our needs. The free breakfast was good and we were very close to the airport.

Nice place but definitely did not have a Mountain View! Close to airport and not far from town, but nothing near enough to walk to except a small casino/cafe/bar.

Above average and affordable hotel for Bozeman. On ramp to the interstate diminishes the view. Located in a safe area that is mostly quiet.

It was fine, nothing special. Rooms were either on parking lot or vey close to highway and the mountain view was no different than the whole area.

I was only able to spend one of the two nights I was in Bozeman at this hotel although I was charged for both nights. According to the website, the room is soundproof. What they failed to mention is that there is a train track right across the street and beginning at 10 PM you get to listen to speeding trains going by for hours. I barely got any sleep and decided not to stay at the hotel a second night. Because I wasn’t giving 24 hour notice they still charged me for the room the next evening also. If you’re looking for a good night sleep, I would not suggest this hotel

We stayed one night after a trip to Yellowstone. Convenient to airport. Clean and quiet. Quick check in and out.

Nice hotel - clean with friendly staff and quiet area a little outside of town. My only complaint is the paved road on the way to hotel (maybe a quarter mile before you turn into hotel property) has a HUGE pot hole that you fall into without warning. It’s more like a crater honestly and it will jolt you and did my front tire no favors. I stayed there a couple weeks ago so maybe it’s been fixed. (No fault of the hotel as it isn’t on their property.) But drive cautiously and be aware of it regardless.

Super clean and quiet! Easy access to the highway but no noise. Dining just around the corner was great! Gas station right there. All of that made it ver easy for me! The room was clean and so comfortable. Staff was welcoming and kind!

Breakfast was not much - not enough space, coffee was out - might as well have been no breakfast.

Carpet was so dirty that when I stepped into the bath water it turned dirty right away. Toilet seat broke completely off while leaning in it. Hot tub had food and candy at the bottom . Breakfast was terrible. Eggs were watery and tasted like powdered eggs. Orange juice wasn’t orange and didn’t taste like oranges. Apple juice just tasted like water with a little apple flavor. All In all not a pleasant experience.

The hotel is nice for the price which is great for Bozeman where everything can be so expensive. The breakfast area is pretty small with very limited seating. The pool and hot tub were nice. There are train tracks near the hotel with trains rolling through all hours. The staff was very responsive to any requests. I watched a wonderful interaction between a staff member and a child with special needs during breakfast. She took the time to answer all his questions even when he repeated himself. Such good customer service!

This place was great, fresh cookies after work each day. Hot tub/pool. Only complaint would be minimal breakfast options and terrible eggs.
