Lush gardens, a tranquil forest setting, a pleasant pool, and a well-regarded spa stand out. Maintenance and access issues appear, including worn pool towels, occasional dirty pool or nonworking steam and terrace heaters, plus steep paths and stairs that hinder mobility.

Many guests found rooms and bathrooms very clean, yet multiple reviews report cockroaches in rooms or common areas, occasional musty odors, and at times a not-so-clean pool.

Rooms range from remodeled and spacious, some with fireplace or tubs, to small, noisy, or lacking privacy. Temperature comfort can be tricky due to limited heating or AC, with reports of hard beds, leaks, and ventilation issues.

Staff are frequently described as friendly and attentive, and check-in experiences are smooth. However, several guests cite poor or slow restaurant service and inconsistent communication or management response.

Scenic, quiet, forested location outside Valle de Bravo; some guests found it far from the center. Access was occasionally difficult due to street works or closures, though a few noted proximity to restaurants.

Dining is inconsistent: several mention high prices, limited variety or hours midweek, and uneven quality and service, while a few enjoyed the food. Cocktail selection and cafe options were limited for some.
