The room was fantastic. We had a balcony with outdoor furniture where we sat and enjoyed the view, complimentary drinks and fruit. There was an in-room onsen with hot spring water. Excellent for a soak when you can’t be bothered to go through the trouble of getting to the public bath (which was also great, with sauna and steam room). The bed was comfortable. The included breakfast was fab. The room rate was not cheap but at least we were not disappointed.

服務、清潔、硬體都很好，包含房間和大眾池在房間內需要什麼，房務也很快送到房間。隔音也很好，搭shuttles時的工作人員服務態度也滿分。只是個人不喜歡現在的台式早餐，還是比較喜歡以前有中式和西式供選擇。

Everything was great from start to end. The complimentary shuttle service was prompt and the hotel reception was efficient which facilitated very smooth checking in-out processes I cannot find any fault regarding the room. We had a room with a fabulous view of the city / part of the Yangming Shan so soaking in our hot tub and facing such a view was heavenly Room was spacious and clean and the chamber maids were polite and super efficient We dined at the Chinese restaurant and the food and their service was superb which was reasonably priced. Even our breakfast was served by such a great team who looked into every little detail with pride. We enjoyed walking about and dining in the yukata that was provided for...plus the lovely public bath experience... gave us such a rested retreat I have nothing but praise for the management of the resort. Highly recommend for those who wish to enjoy a little pampering while visiting Taipei. Finally special mention of Ms Clara who went out of her way to help us connect to our airport hotel. Cudos to everyone in the team once again

五星級的住宿體驗 不管是接駁車服務、接待人員的態度、房內的設施、minibar還有公共設施全都非常滿意，住宿期間不小心割傷了手指，服務人員也很關切詢問是在哪邊受傷並給了我兩張ok繃以便泡完湯替換，這次是跟朋友來，若以後有機會帶家人出遊還會再選擇麗禧

食事もおいしかったし、設備もきれいでよかったです。部屋風呂も何回もはいりました。ただ、プールや大浴場に行くのにいちいち厳しいチェックがあり、部屋番号、何をしに行くのかを尋ねられ、設備のドアをいちいちカギで開けていました。気軽にプールや大浴場に入れないのにびっくりしました。大浴場は夜１１時まで入れるとのことでしたので１０時くらいから利用しましたが、３０分を過ぎたくらいから掃除スタッフが様子を何度も見にきて、４０分あたりから大きな音をたてて浴場備え付けのコーヒーサーバーの掃除をはじめました。早く出て行けという圧力がすごかった。。。高いお金をはらって泊っているのですから、お風呂くらい気持ちよく入浴させてほしかった。まだ制限時間内なのに。。。レストランもフロントも感じがよかったので非常に残念。掃除のおばちゃんにもホスピタリテイを教育するべきです。せっかく素晴らしいホテルなのに、おばちゃんの圧のほうが強く印象に残ってしまった。。。

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly, the spa facilities were clean and modern. There were very minor signs of wear and tear in the room. My partner booked a Chinese style massage which was supposedly stronger, but it wasn't at all. The massage was overall not great value for the price. Breakfast was delicious, you get to choose between a western style or taiwanesw style breakfast. Both come as a set menu and were delicious.

A luxury stay in Beitou for the hot spring experience. The room was lovely with fantastic amenities down to facial toner and even facial mask sheets that are all complimentary. The hotel even provides complimentary use of their lounge wear while staying at the property which is a nice touch. The room comes with mini bar well stocked with full coffee, tea, soft drinks and snacks and are all free. We booked the family suite and the room was huge with separate toilet and bath. The private hot spring in the room really sold the expensive price tag. Staff were extremely friendly and professional. Breakfast was also scrumptious and suits my Asian tastebuds. On the cons, the property feels a tad dated and can use some updating. Guest preferences such as no alcohol should be remembered. I still had plum wine sent to my room on my 2nd night even though I had already informed we are a non alcohol family. Small issue but should be a given for a 5 star property. Housekeeping missed a few spots. Lounge wear was put on the floor as it was dirty but somehow not replaced. Trash in the corner by the curtains was also missed. In room entertainment is limited for sure. but this could be the norm in Taiwan and I’ve been spoilt by other luxury hotels. Beitou is a quiet town and not much to do. Location of the hotel is not the best but they do provide free shuttle bus to the MRT although it is usually very packed and guests end up waiting a few rounds. Overall, still a lovely experience.

The staff at this property are what made the stay special. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and always ready to assist the guests. They took note of special requests, and ensured that they went above and beyond to deliver. They made us feel truly welcomed. Their excellent attitude also added to the serenity the property naturally brought. That said, the property is a little dated, but still very well maintained. It was an extremely relaxing stay. I will surely return. Thank you to all the staff!

Nice, quiet location in the hills with nice views. Room had hot tub and cold tub by the window. Strong smell of sulfur made it necessary to have windows open when filling up the tub but after a while smell is gone and it’s nice and relaxing. One thing that bothered me was that toilet had a glass door, leaving no privacy. Otherwise great amenities and services.

Everything was great from start to end. 食事もおいしかったし、設備もきれいでよかったです。部屋風呂も何回もはいりました。ただ、プールや大浴場に行くのにいちいち厳しいチェックがあり、部屋番号、何をしに行くのかを尋ねられ、設備のドアをいちいちカギで開けていました。気軽にプールや大浴場に入れないのにびっくりしました。大浴場は夜１１時まで入れるとのことでしたので１０時くらいから利用しましたが、３０分を過ぎたくらいから掃除スタッフが様子を何度も見にきて、４０分あたりから大きな音をたてて浴場備え付けのコーヒーサーバーの掃除をはじめました。早く出て行けという圧力がすごかった。。。高いお金をはらって泊っているのですから、お風呂くらい気持ちよく入浴させてほしかった。まだ制限時間内なのに。。。レストランもフロントも感じがよかったので非常に残念。掃除のおばちゃんにもホスピタリテイを教育するべきです。せっかく素晴らしいホテルなのに、おばちゃんの圧のほうが強く印象に残ってしまった。。。

The staff at this property are what made the stay special. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and always ready to assist the guests. They took note of special requests, and ensured that they went above and beyond to deliver. They made us feel truly welcomed. Their excellent attitude also added to the serenity the property naturally brought. That said, the property is a little dated, but still very well maintained. It was an extremely relaxing stay. The room was fantastic. We had a balcony with outdoor furniture where we sat and enjoyed the view, complimentary drinks and fruit. There was an in-room onsen with hot spring water. Excellent for a soak when you can’t be bothered to go through the trouble of getting to the public bath (which was also great, with sauna and steam room). The bed was comfortable. The included breakfast was fab. The room rate was not cheap but at least we were not disappointed.

We stayed two nights at the Grand View Resort. The in-room mizuburo and onsen bath were a treat,.and definitely the best thing about the room! The bed was sufficiently firm, and very large. Pillows are on the softer side. Water pressure in the shower room was good. The complimentary breakfasts were delicious. We recommend the Taiwanese style breakfast over the western style one. They're both great, but that Taiwanese breakfast was just a little more special. We had one dinner at their Chinese restaurant, and it was excellent as well. Staff were always helpful and very courteous without being overbearing. We also appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to Beitou and Xinbeitou Stations. The only downside to the place is that its location is far into the mountainside, and not walkable during summer.

A luxury stay in Beitou for the hot spring experience. The room was lovely with fantastic amenities down to facial toner and even facial mask sheets that are all complimentary. The hotel even provides complimentary use of their lounge wear while staying at the property which is a nice touch. The room comes with mini bar well stocked with full coffee, tea, soft drinks and snacks and are all free. We booked the family suite and the room was huge with separate toilet and bath. The private hot spring in the room really sold the expensive price tag. Staff were extremely friendly and professional. Breakfast was also scrumptious and suits my Asian tastebuds. On the cons, the property feels a tad dated and can use some updating. Guest preferences such as no alcohol should be remembered. I still had plum wine sent to my room on my 2nd night even though I had already informed we are a non alcohol family. Small issue but should be a given for a 5 star property. Housekeeping missed a few spots. Lounge wear was put on the floor as it was dirty but somehow not replaced. Trash in the corner by the curtains was also missed. In room entertainment is limited for sure. but this could be the norm in Taiwan and I’ve been spoilt by other luxury hotels. Beitou is a quiet town and not much to do. Location of the hotel is not the best but they do provide free shuttle bus to the MRT although it is usually very packed and guests end up waiting a few rounds. Overall, still a lovely experience.
A luxury stay in Beitou for the hot spring experience. The room was lovely with fantastic amenities down to facial toner and even facial mask sheets that are all complimentary. The hotel even provides complimentary use of their lounge wear while staying at the property which is a nice touch. The room comes with mini bar well stocked with full coffee, tea, soft drinks and snacks and are all free. We booked the family suite and the room was huge with separate toilet and bath. The private hot spring in the room really sold the expensive price tag. Staff were extremely friendly and professional. Breakfast was also scrumptious and suits my Asian tastebuds. On the cons, the property feels a tad dated and can use some updating. Guest preferences such as no alcohol should be remembered. I still had plum wine sent to my room on my 2nd night even though I had already informed we are a non alcohol family. Small issue but should be a given for a 5 star property. Housekeeping missed a few spots. Lounge wear was put on the floor as it was dirty but somehow not replaced. Trash in the corner by the curtains was also missed. In room entertainment is limited for sure. but this could be the norm in Taiwan and I’ve been spoilt by other luxury hotels. Beitou is a quiet town and not much to do. Location of the hotel is not the best but they do provide free shuttle bus to the MRT although it is usually very packed and guests end up waiting a few rounds. Overall, still a lovely experience.

We stayed two nights at the Grand View Resort. The in-room mizuburo and onsen bath were a treat,.and definitely the best thing about the room! The bed was sufficiently firm, and very large. Pillows are on the softer side. Water pressure in the shower room was good. The complimentary breakfasts were delicious. We recommend the Taiwanese style breakfast over the western style one. They're both great, but that Taiwanese breakfast was just a little more special. We had one dinner at their Chinese restaurant, and it was excellent as well. Staff were always helpful and very courteous without being overbearing. We also appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to Beitou and Xinbeitou Stations. The only downside to the place is that its location is far into the mountainside, and not walkable during summer.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly, the spa facilities were clean and modern. There were very minor signs of wear and tear in the room. My partner booked a Chinese style massage which was supposedly stronger, but it wasn't at all. The massage was overall not great value for the price. Breakfast was delicious, you get to choose between a western style or taiwanesw style breakfast. Both come as a set menu and were delicious.

We had a really fabulous time and wished we could stay for longer! The room was very spacious and in-room onsen was top notch. We truly appreciated the generosity of the minibar, and the personal touches like packing the snacks for us to takeaway and gifting us an anniversary photo really made the difference. The food was very high quality and nothing much to fault (only thing which we would have liked was to have complimentary table water included). Moving on to the service, every staff was very helpful and professional. Special mention to Ariel who is one of the best hospitality staff that we have come across. She was efficient during the check-in process and gave a very detailed explanation of the room and hotel facilities, and we were really happy to have been assigned a room with such a lovely sunset view. She also made sure our check-out process was seamless and provided us with tea when we came back from visiting the museum and waiting for the bus to leave. Can definitely say that it really elevated our overall experience. We will definitely come back again the next time we visit Taipei!
