Perfect location. Private carpark included. Netflix etc on both tv's. Our suite had been totaly refurbished, top quality everything. Own private entrance door onto the rear carpark. Will definitely rebook here. 5mins from Papas amazing chippy on the pier.

Nice hotel. I've stayed here several times over the years. Good rooms that are maybe slightly dated but still clean and well maintained. There is a bar and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There are a limited number of parking spaces at the rear of the hotel that can fill up pretty quickly although there is plenty of other parking nearby. The Dovedale is virtually on the seafront with restaurants, bar and shops all within a minute or two walk. I would be happy to recommend the Dovedale and will definitely stay again when working in the area.

Friendly enough hotel and a different experience. No lift and stairs a bit narrow. Great that breakfast is served to you unlike most chains. Fairly close to seafront and centre.

Loved the closeness to beach and amenities bar on site dog friendly special are for breakfast with your dog wish they did snacks like cakes sandwhiches perhaps made to order as used to do evening meals which again could be booked so as no food waste

Always nice to stay at the Dovedale. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable and check-in is a breeze. I find the hotel clean and quiet and the jacuzzi a big plus...easy to operate as well. Only downside was the mattress..I could feel the springs, but I slept well nonetheless. Highly recommend this establishment and will surely return, as I've done over the years.

This Place was dirty and run down. Webs all over the ceiling and windows. A lot of webs. Hairs in the sink and bathroom floor. I had breakfast booked but I could not bring myself to eat here. Room 105 is at the rear of property. Humming noise all night - not a good nite.

Down stairs rooms were not to bad, but our bedroom was dirty, carpet wanted burning. We could not use the shower as it was also dirty, marks all on the radiator, and skirting boards . Taps on sink broken. The pillows on the bed rock hard. Would not stay there again if they paid us.

Not clean , we had pubic hair still in the bed side drawers that hadn't been cleaned, thick cobwebs in room, sticky fingers marks over bunk bed dirt running down radiator and very dusty in general not worth £134 for one night

We had a lovely stay the staff was polite and the beds was compfy there is all the tea/coffee you need or want only downfall is that its very un clean and the windowwill wasnt fitted it was damaged and i looked out the window put my hand on the wondowsil to look outside and it compleatly come off and made me fall over onto my knee and causing some pain and the toilets underneath behind and round the bottom was so thick with pure black mold. Apart from that we had a good stay the staff was very good on reception and couldnt do enough for u

Room was small maybe should be just a single room. The shower did not work at all the tap was jammed making me wonder when the room was last occurred We only found out about the shower in the morning before checkout. Really fabulous hotel in a very convenient location close to all the action. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, clean and quiet. We both slept very well as the beds were really lovely. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from all the shops in Cleethorpes and the other way the beach front. Brilliant free parking at the back of the property. The reception staff let us park the car there after we checked out, which was very kind of them! All of the staff were very friendly, polite, chatty and helpful. The breakfast was superb. We literally couldn’t fault it. Best sausages ever. Thanks so much Dovedale Hotel for an amazing stay. We will definitely be back!! 😊👍

Receptionist asked me to wait from a back room. I waited and then she said from her back room - didn't welcome me, didn't get up from her back room. Told me to complete a registration form on a stand by the front door. I could operate TV so manager came up and didn't wait for me to unlock room door used his master which alarmed me somewhat. The hotel is very worn and bed and pillows very cheap looking, worn and very lumping and hard, bathmat worn. Bathroom had large bath (not inviting) shower over was not very powerful. When checking out I saw the registration details, telephone number name and address of another guest who checked in after me left out by the back door.. So they don't look after personal data. Parking was available on the street and a car park nearby.

I needed somewhere near to the seafront for an overnight stay, and was delighted by my decision to stay here. A warm welcome on arrival with good parking to the rear of the property. A clean well appointed en suite room with Sky TV and a comfortable bed. A good quality and value breakfast in the morning. A genuinely friendly staff team made the stay a pleasure.

Really fabulous hotel in a very convenient location close to all the action. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, clean and quiet. We both slept very well as the beds were really lovely. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from all the shops in Cleethorpes and the other way the beach front. Brilliant free parking at the back of the property. The reception staff let us park the car there after we checked out, which was very kind of them! All of the staff were very friendly, polite, chatty and helpful. The breakfast was superb. We literally couldn’t fault it. Best sausages ever. Thanks so much Dovedale Hotel for an amazing stay. We will definitely be back!! 😊👍

Nice hotel. I've stayed here several times over the years. Good rooms that are maybe slightly dated but still clean and well maintained. There is a bar and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There are a limited number of parking spaces at the rear of the hotel that can fill up pretty quickly although there is plenty of other parking nearby. The Dovedale is virtually on the seafront with restaurants, bar and shops all within a minute or two walk. I would be happy to recommend the Dovedale and will definitely stay again when working in the area.

This place is a little diamond. Stayed here before. Left an item of clothing there, phoned n they had saved it for me. So went to pick it up n decided to stay the night. Such a lovely hotel, rooms always warm n welcoming. Comfortable beds, tea n coffee facilities. Close to everything, yet quiet. Will be back.

I only came here as a last minute to try and finish some work off and it was absolutely lovely. The place was clean, the breakfast was nice, all the staff were lovely and friendly. Everything is within walking distance away from the hotel and there are so many food options around to either eat out or have as a takeaway. I will certainly be coming back again!

Nice place. Reception, bar and restaurant all done in lovely art deco style. Staff super friendly and made us welcome. Room we had was nice but would benefit from a mini revamp. Would certainly stay here again and the breakfast was top notch. Lady that served our breakfast was really nice too

Good visit. Hotel parking is on the next road, back onto the hotel, no problem once told we’re to go. Room was clean, lovely double bed and comfortable mattress. Nice breakfast ( prepay is well worth it if you want more than a slice of toast and coffee). I am Happy to go back next time in Cleethorpes

Ground floor room being able to park car in front dog friendly even area to take your dogs in for breakfast and got a chopped up sausage everyday to bar pity the resturant wasnt open in evening wether it was because it being winter breakfast was delicious staff very friendly

Loved the closeness to beach and amenities bar on site dog friendly special are for breakfast with your dog wish they did snacks like cakes sandwhiches perhaps made to order as used to do evening meals which again could be booked so as no food waste

Chose to stay here because stayed before and it met our needs. Really does need a lift and a little dated. Staff helpful and friendly, and they do try. Breakfast finishes at 9am which is a bit early for most breaks. A good base for a basic stay.
