I stayed there for three nights with friend traveling to Peru for sightseeing. The hotel is clean and is located in nice location about ten minutes walk to plaza de Armas. The staff are very friendly and professional. There is a court yard for tea, between restaurant and lounge, making guests feel comfortable. However hardware in the hotel is getting old. I saw elevator was not working for one day. When I first moved into room #202, wifi was not working since signal was too weak. They let me switched to different room. Toilet flush was a little slow. Breakfast was nice but selection is limited. Given the price I paid to be compared with hotels I stayed in other cities of Peru, I can only give 4 star rating since price performance ratio is not the best.

Staff was accommodating and very friendly. Had a hiccup and it didn’t take long for them to resolve the issue and address it. Area was quiet compared to other areas of town around central square. Loved the center of the hotel where you can chill and have some tea.

Overall great place to stay! The breakfast isn’t included in your reservation but it really isn’t that much more. We only stayed 5 days, we didn’t need housekeeping, so I can’t comment on that. There’s no spa on location but you can have a masseuse come to your room and guest services was really helpful with that. Two things that really bugged me- 1. The key cards stopped working all the time. Every other day we would need to get a new key card. It was odd. 2. The water dispenser was so slow! I appreciate it was there and we can refill our bottles whenever we needed. But only a little water dripped out at a time and it would stop when only a little has been dispensed. It took FOREVER. It must be programmed to save water. My yoga studio has that exact same dispenser and it can be programmed to fill the bottle normally. Not deal breakers— but important to know if you’re planning on a lot of pricey tours. Don’t wait until morning to fill up your water bottles. Overall— clean, helpful and pleasant environment.

Our stay in the hotel was not good. The room was not well cleaned when we arrived, towels were not soft, the carpet floor provoked allergies in both me and my husband. The worst part was the breakfast: at 9am, it was only with leftovers. No eggs, no juice. A disappointing experience.

I was allocated Room 203 which was noisy. I requested the fromt desk and they helped me to change the room. There is no AC but the staff helped to provide a fan. Breakfast is good. Staff is very helpful. Overall good experience. Just avoid room on the road.

The service was outstanding! They held our larger luggage for 2 days while we took just backpacks on the train to Machu Picchu. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Some people reviewed the restaurant a bit lower, but when we were exhausted, we tried it. The chicken noodle soop was a delicious meal when feeling a little slow in the altitude.The only negative was a shower with fluctuating hot/cold water. I suggest the bath instead of a shower.

Absolutely amazing, I cannot recommend this place enough! They just get all the details right. The bed is perfect, the towels are amazingly soft, the staff are incredibly kind, always accommodating and willing to help in any way. I struggled a bit with the altitude sickness, and the staff genuinely cared to help make my stay as comfortable as possible, bringing me tea and going above and beyond to make sure I was okay. The location is perfect, right across from Inca Rail if you are heading out to Machu Picchu or anywhere else nearby. Location is also great, close to the plaza and anywhere else you might explore in Cusco! 10/10 best place in the city!!

I had a great experience at this hotel! I checked out early to head to the airport, but after my flight got canceled, I came back and they kindly gave me the same room again with no extra charge. The staff was incredibly helpful and understanding, which made a stressful situation so much easier. The room was very clean, and the location is perfect, close to everything. Highly recommend!

This place runs a scam. I paid for a room with two double beds, upon arrival I was told that they charge additional 30$ for second person. My expedia receipt states that the room was booked and nothing regarding amount of people. Also, on Expedia listing it says "our base rate is for two guests". We asked whether additional charge was for breakfast for second person - they said no. They also show us receipt that Expedia charges them a commission and that is also the reason they need to charge extra. You pay commission to advertise your hotel in Expedia! That is not additional customer's cost. At the end they charged us the same rate that Sonesta Hotel at Cusco did, where we stayed a few nights prior. However, Sonesta is new or recently renovated, has rooms and beds twice the size, provided bottled water and unlimited toiletries. Service at Sonesta also was impeccable and buffet breakfast was huge. LP Los Portales scam you into thinking you are paying less, but at the end charge the same. We are not cheap people and always tip well when we get good service, but this place just made us never want to stay here again. 30$ is not a lot of money, but a lie is a lot to avoid a business at all costs. Do yourself a favor, choose a more honest business.

Only stayed for one night unfortunately but great service and staff. Very helpful in ordering a taxi for us to get to the airport the next day which is a standard rate, and called in the morning to make sure we were awake, very helpful! Also offered us early breakfast options as we had to leave before breakfast was officially served. Overall had a great experience with the staff and customer service. The room was very nice with very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom.

The staff were excellent at helping me settle in. Being an english speaking Canadian not knowing much Spanish this was helpful! Room service was always fast and delicious! I recommend the grilled alpaca (sort of like goat). I would just say potentially consider adding a larger selection to the menu however this is a personal preferance as there are many places to eat in Cusco. Location is super convinient as it is literally across the street from Inca Rail office to book tours to various destinations. Great all around stay

Lovely staff, nice room, good breakfast but our room was on the bust main street (Ave Sol) and there was a lot of traffic noise and on Sat night a very loud slanging match/fight among a large group of men on the street late at night. Ask for a room in the back of the hotel!

Stayed as LP Los Portales for our last two nights in Cusco. Got a fairly large, clean and quiet room at the back of the hotel. Staff were great and the free breakfast was good enough for us. It's a short walk from the main square which we actually preferred due to it's quieter location.

It was a very pleasant place. The Staff were very congenial, helpful and friendly. The hotel is pristine with excellent service. It is located across the street from Inca Rail. This will take you up to Machu Picchu. The walk to central Cusco square was about 10 minutes. Excellent location. Breakfast included

아르마스 광장 다니기엔 운동삼아서 괜찮았고, 찿아가기엔 매우 쉬웠어요. 쿠스코에 보고 즐길거리가 아르마스 광장만 있는건 아니잖아요. 코리칸차 관람하기에 접근성은 최고죠. 근처에 은행, 환전소가 너무너무 많은게 특징이었습니다. 직원들 매우 친절했어요.

Fantastic hotel with caring and helpful staff, felt very safe. Great breakfast buffet with range of options, love the fresh juice! Restaurant on site is absolutely amazing, well priced and the food is exceptional as is the service. Let you store luggage for Machu Picchu as well. Cannot wait to come back! Definitely book here.
