Very nice, helpful staff. Excellent location between train/bus station and old town. On the inside, felt a little more like a hotel than a ryokan. Comfortable room.

Very misleading. Very expensive and at 315.00 a night we were shocked to hear there was no shower in the room. Sleeping was difficult on the uncomfortable futons. Camping would have been a better choice🙄

We were here for 4 nights. We're in out 60s and this is our first time to stay in an Ryokan. Honestly, it would have been better if it's only 2 nigths so we an experience it. We don't love the room arrangement, the futon, and there's no full size 'chair' level sitting arragnement. We're too old to be getting up and down from the floor level. It would have been fun again for a short duration but not for 4 nights.

Located in Hida Takayama Onsen, a neighborhood in Takayama, Oyado Koto No Yume is near a train station.
