A group of us visited for a parkrun special event and were very well taken care of. The hotel is located opposite a beautiful quiet courtyard, it's modern, clean and the breakfast options for vegans and gluten free were excellent. The location for Tokoinrata parkrun couldn't have been better - less than 5mins walk to the start line! Hotel has fantastic transport links to airport which is a 40min ride away by bus - tram and bus stops are short walk away, along with plenty of eating out options. Special mention to Sofi on reception who was lovely and helpful organising our luggage storage on check out day. 5 stars will recommend to all our parkrun tourism friends!

Super fint hotel. Virkelig god morgenmadsbuffet med mange muligheder for både veganer og gluten allergiker. Fitnessrum er småt, men der er det meste man har behov for til en hurtig træning. Værelserne har fin størrelse. De er dog meget mørke, da væggene og møblerne er sorte (perfekt til at sove i)

Really comfy beds and great showers. Conveniently located close to parkrun. Would have liked hot drink making facilities in rooms - hot drinks in reception weren’t cheap and the hot chocolate wasn’t the best. Overall, would recommend.

We travelled as family and couldn’t fault the hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean and have all amenities. The staff are super friendly and went out of their way to help. The breakfast selection was huge, great coffee and lots of fresh local food which was lovely. The hotel is cool, with lots of funky features. Our room had a balcony which was great, especially in a city centre hotel in a prime location. There is a play room for kids which was a nice touch Great access to all public transport and about a 15min walk into the centre itself

Très bel hôtel avec une chambre décorée avec soin, propre et confortable. Les petits déjeuner est varié et de bonne qualité. Proximité avec le centre quand on est à pied appréciée, proche d'une station de métro. Je recommande vivement !

The breakfast was nice and much appreciated by all. Staff were generally kind and helpful. Location is very convenient and walkable. However, the cleaning was subpar. We travelled as a family and I have to say our room was barely ever cleaned our entire stay. Granted, as a family we make much more of a mess than a regular couple, but simple things like coffee and teas were never replenished, the glasses never changed, the sheets changed maybe once for a long stay. The room was small/cramped, a bit outdated and I feel a bit worn out.

The Scandic Paasi is a great little hotel. The location in Hakaniemi is excellent, just across the bridge from the centre of the city and an easy 20 minute walk from the central station. The hotel is tucked away on a square behind the main street, and it was extremely quiet during my stay. As other guests have stated, the breakfast selection is huge considering the price band of the hotel with a wide selection of hot and cold options. The only downside for me is the in room ventilation which, in common with many hotels in Finland in my experience, doesn't actually give you full control of the temperature, despite looking like a proper air conditioning control unit. This meant the room was a bit warm for my taste, but it wasn't a major issue.

This is easily one of the best hotels I have ever been to! The funky decor of the room was unique and the room was huge with a bar area, dining table and chairs, a loveseat, a sofa bed, 2 other armchairs, and a king-size bed. Breakfast was also above average and included pancakes with whipped cream and bacon. The hotel was feet away from the metro, trams, and buses, as well as grocery stores and restaurants. I highly recommend the Scandic Paasi!

L'hôtel est un un petit peu excentré mais les bus et le tramway (il y avait des travaux d'aménagement cependant donc l'arrêt du tramway n'était pas desservi) sont au bout du square. Je me suis tout le temps déplacée à pied (en 10-15 minutes, on est à la gare, en plein centre-ville ou sur le place du marché. J'ai apprécié d'avoir le bus qui dessert l'aéroport à 2 minutes de marche. Le quartier était calme et je n'ai pas eu peur d'aller prendre le tramway un peu plus loin à 6h du matin. Le personnel de l'hôtel était très gentil et prêt à aider. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner était très bien. Les chambres sont très bien insonorisées.

Scandic Paasi exceeded my expectations at every level. From the wonderful reception from Janni at check in to the well-appointed room and fabulous breakfast, this was a first rate stay from beginning to end. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet which was always varied and plentiful, and enhanced even further by the wonderfully friendly staff. Annika even visited each table every morning with freshly baked cinnamon rolls and a cheerful greeting, which was just lovely and that something extra that will linger happily in your memory. The hotel is also perfectly placed with easy access to transit, but is also very walkable to the city centre and its many attractions. I can highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to return. Thank you for a wonderful stay Scandic Paasi, you were superb.

This is not a safe hotel for a woman. I was traveling for work, and I did not feel safe in my room. Both floor, ceiling was black painted, the bed was black leather with studs and the decor was red.m. Also, a door in the middle of the room that I did not have the key to. I understand that it could be to a combining room, but it did not feel safe, as I could not lock it from my side. The room was also very run down and not well kept. The reception was not willing to help, and I ended up having to find another accommodation. Would not recommend!

The Scandic Paasi is a great little hotel. The location in Hakaniemi is excellent, just across the bridge from the centre of the city and an easy 20 minute walk from the central station. The hotel is tucked away on a square behind the main street, and it was extremely quiet during my stay. As other guests have stated, the breakfast selection is huge considering the price band of the hotel with a wide selection of hot and cold options. The only downside for me is the in room ventilation which, in common with many hotels in Finland in my experience, doesn't actually give you full control of the temperature, despite looking like a proper air conditioning control unit. This meant the room was a bit warm for my taste, but it wasn't a major issue.

This is easily one of the best hotels I have ever been to! The funky decor of the room was unique and the room was huge with a bar area, dining table and chairs, a loveseat, a sofa bed, 2 other armchairs, and a king-size bed. Breakfast was also above average and included pancakes with whipped cream and bacon. The hotel was feet away from the metro, trams, and buses, as well as grocery stores and restaurants. I highly recommend the Scandic Paasi!

A group of us visited for a parkrun special event and were very well taken care of. The hotel is located opposite a beautiful quiet courtyard, it's modern, clean and the breakfast options for vegans and gluten free were excellent. The location for Tokoinrata parkrun couldn't have been better - less than 5mins walk to the start line! Hotel has fantastic transport links to airport which is a 40min ride away by bus - tram and bus stops are short walk away, along with plenty of eating out options. Special mention to Sofi on reception who was lovely and helpful organising our luggage storage on check out day. 5 stars will recommend to all our parkrun tourism friends!

L'hôtel est un un petit peu excentré mais les bus et le tramway (il y avait des travaux d'aménagement cependant donc l'arrêt du tramway n'était pas desservi) sont au bout du square. Excellent hotel away from main roads. Easy walk into the centre of Helsinki. My only complaint is regarding the breakfast - this was fine except that there was no espresso- type coffee and the fruit options were limited. Otherwise, everything was very good.

We travelled as family and couldn’t fault the hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean and have all amenities. The staff are super friendly and went out of their way to help. The breakfast selection was huge, great coffee and lots of fresh local food which was lovely. The hotel is cool, with lots of funky features. Our room had a balcony which was great, especially in a city centre hotel in a prime location. There is a play room for kids which was a nice touch Great access to all public transport and about a 15min walk into the centre itself

Super fint hotel. Virkelig god morgenmadsbuffet med mange muligheder for både veganer og gluten allergiker. Fitnessrum er småt, men der er det meste man har behov for til en hurtig træning. Værelserne har fin størrelse. De er dog meget mørke, da væggene og møblerne er sorte (perfekt til at sove i)

Excellent location close to public transportation, fun shopping and trails.Super friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast to suit anyone's palate. Our room was a bit small and dark, but we had a 6th floor room with a sauna and a balcony so the trade off was worth it!
