Cute Tropical gardens with a small pool and hot tub lead to private rooms. Friendly staff, clean rooms small breakfast served to your room in a basket. Steps off of Duval Street and conveniently located to many great restaurants, bars and activities. Great property!

Very nice place to stay. The outdoor pool and hot tub were excellent as well as the indoor Jacuzzi. The bed was very comfortable in the shower was really nice. Also, the breakfast option was also very good.

Very nice spot! Nice courtyard with a pool, hot tub, lay out chairs, and access to towels/sunscreen! Adult only place so you can access the pool/tub whenever you’d like. They have an honor system just inside the door for drinks and coffee which is nice! The stay was very nice. Bed was comfy and shower had solid pressure and temp! Right on Duval street so easy access to food, shopping, and drinks. If you walk out the front door and go right for a few blocks you’re at the southern most point. If you walk out and go left 6 blocks you’ll find yourself at Mallory square for the sunset! Also, you can rent bikes for $20 (bike for you and your lady) and take a cruise! A true Key West Gem! Will definitely be back! Hope this review helps you make great decisions ;)

Tropical Inn was a great stay. Location is perfect for exploring Duval Street. The cottage we stayed in had parking immediately next to the property: a huge amenity for a hotel in Old Town. Breakfast was brought to the room every day. The pool and hot tub were clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The property is old and can use some maintenance - but it is clean and comfortable. I particularly liked the bed sheets. They were high end - very crisp and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well - a must with heat indices 107 - 110. We have been to Key West half a dozen times. The Tropical Inn was by far the best value.

is that parking is a premium for that area and parking was a public lot that was .4 miles away. There was a loading/unloading zone in front and the walk wasn’t really that bad. Will absolutely be returning

Just wonderful! Friendly and professional staff -super helpful!! Massive rooms ! Clean and modern and fantastically renovated (we stayed in the two bedroom suite the only tiny issue was that you have to request a full length mirror) the decor is just perfect. down to an umbrella in the room. We loved the coffee all day and the delightful free breakfast and bikes. Fantastic vibe ! Books in the lobby too.

This is an AMAZING PROPERTY 👏 Clean rooms, beautiful gardens, quiet back patio despite being in the heart of Old Town. Great staff, you'll feel like family!! No parking on site but you can find close by options.

Overall a good place, cons- pool not clean and had tiles broken, hair in the sink and on the wrapped soap and around toilet, pros- staff was great, great location if you want to be in the middle of it all !

Overall a great stay. The property is ideally located within walking distance to numerous restaurants, bars, coffee shops, shopping, etc. While being centrally located, once on the property it is very serene and quiet. The staff were wonderful & the process of booking/checking out was simple. The only complaint about the property is the intensity of the musty smell in the room. The room itself was extremely humid, and seemed to be that way for a while. I know that this area has dealt with rain recently and is naturally humid to begin with, but a dehumidifier in each room would go a long way in combating this issue.

The rugs are very dirty the over all hotel was run down. The plumbing was not good lukewarm water and the toilet ran on and off all night.

Although this property is located on busy and bustling Duvall St, inside and in the back garden and pool area, you would never know it. Very quiet and private. Very helpful staff. Tons of character and very clean. Nice breakfasts delivered to the room. Other snacks and drinks available to purchase. Great choice!

Beautiful home but the room we got, pool patio, had a bathroom with walls that didn’t actually go all the way to the ceiling.. any light or sounds flooded the full room. Zero parking options.

1. It figured out that the parking was not provided while it was mentioned in the listing that free parking is available. It was framed the way it conceals the reality. 2. It took an extra effort to get Wi-Fi password. 3. It wasn’t possible to adjust air conditioner. It blew super cold and there was no chance to do anything about it. I had to sleep with a bed sheet on my head not to get cold.

Parking is an big issue. There is also a wooden louvered door to the bathroom in the Bamboo Room so limited privacy when using the jon. (We turned on the TV loudly so that we could not hear each other.) The hotel is also only one block from a LGBT drag bar and at times you can hear music of the YMCA genre. Otherwise, very clean, very nice service and breakfast brought right to your room.

Charming house right in middle of Duval. Cozy room. Really nice women managing the place. Nice outdoors setting. The only thing that’s lacking is maybe a little breakfast or dining room to eat. If you’re eating anything, you’ll have to eat in your bedroom. The only other sitting option is outside but you’re out of luck when raining. Other than that, lovely cozy stay

This is a very nice small property. The lady at the reception was super attentive and helpful. We got a room downstairs near the pool. Otherwise we had to climb to the second floor. There is no elevator. The room was very small....to small!!! No room for the suitcase and very limited place to get organized. Shower was at the lower end of convenience. Breakfast was OK, nothing to talk about at home. Pool was great and there is also a jacuzzi availble. Location is second to nothing. Alll at all what won was the great service we got and that , sometimes worth it all. The property is overpriced!!!!!

Staff was nice enough, But room was musty, smelled a bit and was dated. No thermostat to adjust individual room temperature. Bathroom was run down, and a little gross. No vent fan for the steam and sign on non functioning bathroom window said "do not use" Absolutely no parking, You have to block a busy street to load and unload luggage. Sleeping was tough between the Drag nightclub across the street bumping music till the wee hours of the morning only to fire up again at around 8 am to the roosters crowing on the property and all around starting at 12am and going all night. I won't say that the walls are paper-thin. but I listened to snoring in the other room and traffic both nights also. It wasn't all bad though, the heated pool was nice as well as the hot tub. The Central location would be nice for a younger/party crowd. Bicycle rental was reasonably priced here also. I would deal with most of this in stride if these rooms cost $70 a night. But at $200 plus these problems really need to be addressed.

We stayed in the Gecko's Garden Suite for the weekend, and it was beyond lovely. The room was spacious and had such a great island vibe. The private hot tub was a huge plus as was the parking space included with that particular room. The common grounds were beautiful as well. Brandi and Candace were wonderful and provided such personal attention. My only tiny complaint was that breakfast isn't provided until 8:30am, but this was so minor...especially with the amazing options for breakfast within just a few blocks!

The place was really amazing! We really enjoyed the breakfast and ate outside by the hot tub which was really peaceful. They warned us about the noise from the bars but that is part of the key west experience. We had a great time and the staff was extremely helpful- with great recommendations and helpful suggestions - parking / restaurants / excursions - spot on…

we had a great stay! everything was beautiful. just one tiny thing i wish someone was there to assist in carrying/helping luggage get into the building. i unfortunately dropped numerous things including a beverage on my way in, resulting in stained shoes. it would of just been helpful with assistance since you're paying a good amount to stay here! other than that everything was great.

Stayed on a last minute trip. This was a great surprise and experience. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and informative. We liked the options of staying in the traditional style inn as well as the rooms with separate entrances. The inn had a bunch of great amenities as well. Also loved the location on the quieter end Duval street. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Location was convenient and pool and tub were adequate but Inn condition was old. Carpets smelled like urine from the office up the stairs, so dirty, dreaded walking out of the room. Room upstairs was fine but no place to put toiletries. Shower water wasn't stable. Booked 4 days, left after 1 and wasn't given any refund, manager refused to acknowledge the smell. Not sure how she's getting 5 star ratings.
