When we checked in it was ok, you just ring a bell, got to the room and there was 2 bath towels 1hand towel and 1 wash cloth. We were there for my husband to get total hip replacement at the Winter Haven Hospital-so we needed 2 nights. There was No hand soap, shampoo, conditioner or lotion, ok I see we only paid 268.00 for 2 nights but I expected a few amenities, and there was Not a hair dryer. So we had to go buy these items, the next day after spending ALL day at the hospital my key wouldn’t work and there was No one on the premises to fix the issue, after 2 phone calls and 35 minutes of waiting outside the guy came to let me in and fix my key. I had stopped and gotten food for my dinner that I partially ate because it was Cold from waiting to get in my room. I am Very Disappointed to say the least.

It is almost impossible to enter the parking lot, the ice machine was broken, there are constantly emergency vehicles sounding, the walls are thin so you can hear the person in the next room and traffic outside, the towels are so thin and scratchy.

Asking too much a night (100)for a 1030 check out no amenities what so ever not even a blow dryer it is close to a McDonald's and hospital. You will hear constant beeping from light it is cleaner than most the other cheap motels in the area still needs to be cleaner it does need new carpet it is safe I stayed here in town for work basic cheap motel if need be and had to i would stay again

I liked the location downtown, right next to McDonalds, a beautiful huge lake, a CVS and the city bus transfer center. I didn’t like the fact that most interactions with staff are through a teeny tiny hole outside right next to the busy driveway. Also the $75 cash deposit was inconvenient even though I got mine back when I checked out. The staff are nice but their proficiency in English is not spectacular, so sometimes it’s hard to communicate and you must repeat yourself sometimes.

It was clean but when a storm came around the window leaked. The beds were hard not comfortable at all. There was no coffee maker or coffee machine there were not any amenities just a microwave and a mini fridge. You could hear the neighbors thru the walls and there were no accommodations for smoking. Also it was not easily accessible from the road. I had put my daughter-in-law down to be Able to check me in but the reservation was in my name and if she hadn’t been with me when I went to check in they wouldn’t have let me they had the entire reservation in her name even though I made the reservation and paid for it they didn’t have my name on it at all.

The only thing I did like was the vanity, the staff was nice, but the problem was the roaches in the room, the old and not working microwave that had roaches also. The very low water pressure in the shower was also an issue.

The short walk down to the lakefront is very nice and scenic. Abundance of eating choices from fast food to nice dining within very short distances. However the rooms were only barely clean. the beds are like sleeping on the ground and the room was infested with roaches. No storage space or areas to hang anything

The owner is very friendly and remembered me from the last time I stayed there for a half marathon the year before. The rooms have been newly renovated and were very nice. The mini fridge was new with a real freezer. Only suggestion would to have extra roll of toilet paper in the room and maybe a box of kleenex, but that was minor.

There was construction going on in other rooms of the hotel until 10:30. Shady crowd hanging out in the parking lot and loudly talking all night. Non stop sirens and traffic sounds, could even hear the beeps from the crosswalk speaker in the room. Remote only worked for cable and TV couldn’t be turned off the entire night.

It's an old motel with some updates probably cost them a $1000 to renovate and furnish the whole room. You can hear loud cars driving by. $100-120 per night seems ridiculous, more like a $60-70 night type place that you stay at in a pinch. It's a 2 star motel. It felt relatively clean on the inside. The room was about 90 degrees when we arrived. Put the AC low but took several hours to get comfortable

When I arrived at the property, no one was at the check-in area. I waited 45 minutes until an employee showed up. They have a mosquito infestation, and at night, the mosquitoes gather at your room door, waiting to get inside, as there is a hallway light directly above the door. The bed in the room was extremely uncomfortable—hard as a rock—and every time I moved, it made a loud metal ringing sound.

First day, NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE (requested a code--not given from office) WHEN CALLED TO HELP WITH TV(was tired and could not walk to office)no phone in room. Enjoyed car being near door, remodel bathroom, and stores nearby. Next day staff very friendly and helpful.

There was construction going on in other rooms of the hotel until 10:30. Shady crowd hanging out in the parking lot and loudly talking all night. Non stop sirens and traffic sounds, could even hear the beeps from the crosswalk speaker in the room. Remote only worked for cable and TV couldn’t be turned off the entire night.

It is almost impossible to enter the parking lot, the ice machine was broken, there are constantly emergency vehicles sounding, the walls are thin so you can hear the person in the next room and traffic outside, the towels are so thin and scratchy.

Asking too much a night (100)for a 1030 check out no amenities what so ever not even a blow dryer it is close to a McDonald's and hospital. You will hear constant beeping from light it is cleaner than most the other cheap motels in the area still needs to be cleaner it does need new carpet it is safe I stayed here in town for work basic cheap motel if need be and had to i would stay again

I liked the location downtown, right next to McDonalds, a beautiful huge lake, a CVS and the city bus transfer center. I didn’t like the fact that most interactions with staff are through a teeny tiny hole outside right next to the busy driveway. Also the $75 cash deposit was inconvenient even though I got mine back when I checked out. The staff are nice but their proficiency in English is not spectacular, so sometimes it’s hard to communicate and you must repeat yourself sometimes.

It was clean but when a storm came around the window leaked. The beds were hard not comfortable at all. There was no coffee maker or coffee machine there were not any amenities just a microwave and a mini fridge. You could hear the neighbors thru the walls and there were no accommodations for smoking. Also it was not easily accessible from the road. I had put my daughter-in-law down to be Able to check me in but the reservation was in my name and if she hadn’t been with me when I went to check in they wouldn’t have let me they had the entire reservation in her name even though I made the reservation and paid for it they didn’t have my name on it at all.

The short walk down to the lakefront is very nice and scenic. Abundance of eating choices from fast food to nice dining within very short distances. However the rooms were only barely clean. the beds are like sleeping on the ground and the room was infested with roaches. No storage space or areas to hang anything

This is a two star motel. If you are going to use it to sleep while in the Winter Haven area it is adequate. If you are looking for luxury, this is not it. It offered quick access to Sun-N-Fun (the reason for my stay) and the restaurants in the area are varied and excellent. There is a park about a block away that offers great sunsets over the lake. There is also shopping for necessities and grocery very close by. That being said the walls are thin (if you have loud neighbors), the bed is thin but tolerable and the linens were clean. This is not a hotel room you spend any more time in than is required for your stay, but it is inexpensive and adjacent to places that are nice to hang out at.
