Toaster or microwave would have been good given the bar & restaurant are closed and don't look like they will be reopening. Only one double power point beside the bed as lights either side are hard wired. Maid service was excellent, clean towels each day and bed made up. Water and couple of cans of juice left in fridge upon arrival & amenities topped up daily. Bed was comfortable are Air Con / Heating was good

Lovely property but no elevators

This is a updated property a short walk into the main street. The car parking is free and secure under the building over 2 levels. The Receptionist was helpful and the cleaners lovely. The room isn't big but had everything we needed. The room wasn't waterfront and was located above a courtyard area. Quite a lot of noise came up from below - voices seemed to really carry.

Can’t beat the location. Right in town and on the foreshore. Beautiful place to visit. There were some lovely touches like free beverages in the room, and it had all of the amenities needed. Designer room was a stretch and it was in a very old and tired building. There isn’t anyone keeping an eye on things overnight so at midnight there was a very noisy party in the pool which my balcony backed onto, resulting in very little sleep. To be fair, the pool is locked overnight and these people were obviously doing the wrong thing. Parking was a little tricky with a large SUV and some other guests who struggled to park in the lines. Had a nice dinner at the attached bar/bistro. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Room was very clean and nice enough Motel needs a full upgrade, looks old and differently needs a lift , too many stairs to climb to get to the upper floor

Very friendly check in staff and a great view of the river and foreshore from the balcony. The room was missing some basics, like a toaster, some milk for the tea and coffee station, a microwave would have been great as well. The bathroom smelled like open drains and the shower door didn't shut properly as it was a completely different shape to the shower opening. The mattress needed an update and there was no real information in the room about the room features or the local area.. Overall a little bit disappointed with this stay, not worth the money we paid. Nice location along the water and central to town.

Partner was awoken by a large cockroach on his face at midnight, when trying to find it again on the floor-looked under the bed and saw an old dirty sock and other filth. Stairwell had urine. Stairs had vomit at the bottom in the morning. Disgusting.

Room is starting to look a bit tired but was very clean and had everything I needed. Checkin was great.

Great location on the water and right in town. 2 bottles of water, 2 small cans of soft drink provided and biscuits to have with tea or coffee was a nice touch. Only criticism is that the grout in the bathroom needs some attention

Great views, good location, close to everything. Bathroom needed good clean, taps in shower nearly impossible too use. Room good size but very basic, no toaster or microwave. We were there for 3 days, think we will look elsewhere next trip

Great location. Easy to walk to all amenities in the bay. Clean and comfortable. Although rooms don’t have great sound proofing. Lots of car parking off street.

Stayed 5 nights but no were to hang clothes and no drawers.close to shops and cafes was a plus but also no microwave or cutlery and tv to small for today's standards.

**Overpriced and Outdated for NYE – Disappointing Experience** We stayed here on New Year’s Eve, paying over $450 for a Queen Executive Room, expecting a premium experience. Unfortunately, it fell far short. The customer experience started poorly as soon as we arrived. The outdated building, combined with a lack of modern conveniences like lifts, meant we had to carry our luggage up stairs—unacceptable for the exorbitant price charged. The room was shockingly outdated and small, with visible wear and tear, a tiny TV, and paper-thin walls that let every noise from neighbouring rooms seep through. Bright lights from outside streamed in, even with the blinds closed, making it difficult to sleep. Basic upgrades like blackout curtains, modern furnishings, and soundproofing are desperately needed. The bar was equally underwhelming. On what should be one of the busiest and most celebratory nights of the year, it lacked any atmosphere or effort to create a festive experience. It felt sterile and uninspired, more like a waiting area than a place to enjoy New Year’s Eve. At over $450 a night, this stay was extremely disappointing and not worth the cost. We cannot recommend this property and would not stay here again, let alone at this price.

Clean and tidy with great views of the water. Close to great dining options. Unfortunately it’s very old with noisy, clunky doors that slam all up and down the hallway. Bathroom fans are so loud you can’t hear the tv, and not just your own. Walls are thin. Could hear things we definitely didn’t want to if you know what I mean😉

Lovely location and good views from a balcony room. Okay facilities (no toaster was disappointing), comfortable bed, good shower/bathroom. Only staying one night didn’t give us enough time for lots of detail but certainly seems like a good place to stay 🙂

Very friendly and help reception & cleaning staff. We asked for some restaurant recommendations and after checking into our room the reception staff printed and delivered a copy of the menu for the restaurant we planned to eat at.

I loved everything about the accommodation the only issue I had was I was given a check out time of 1030 and I was still in bed when house keeping tryed to get in at 9am did not appreciate that I will definitely stay again just don't send house keeping in till I leave

Batemans Bay has an absolutely beautiful area The property is right on the beachfront great access to all shops And dating areas, restaurants, cafes Beautiful walking track right out the front

We were totally happy with our choice - the price was good, the room was comfortable and everything was clean. Off street parking provided - some under cover. Walking distance to anything you could want. A nice touch were the drinks provided as a welcome (not alcohol!!) And the view was absolutely beautiful! With a balcony to sit and enjoy it! Staff were very friendly and obliging. We will definitely be returning and telling other family members

Very nice staff & food was amazing

We have stayed here before and had a water view which was great. This time we had no water view which we know cannot be guaranteed, however $179 for a room facing the front entrance and carpark is a little expensive in our opinion. Also, we booked a room here because we wanted to have a hot breakfast on site as per our previous stay, only to find out that they decided they were only doing a continental breakfast that morning… we then walked down the road for breakfast. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend people to avoid this place, however these things could bd addressed.

great location. excellent $5/pp continental bf. nice staff. no issues at all. nice fresh oysters nearby. enjoyed our two days stay. will come back next time when passby

Excellent place to stay, friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble, the bar and bistro was closed which was a bit of a shame, but so many other choices within walking distance, the room was relaxing, comfortable, convenient and perfect location, Batemans Bay you are simply stunning!

Had stayed here previously when it had other owners and we were looking forward to returning. Walked in to find that the bar and bistro had closed and unlikely to reopen again. Rooms are old and poorly maintained. Air conditioner leaked so they put the bin under it but I refused to be subjected to constant dripping. They moved us to a different room which was larger but just as poorly maintained if not even worse. This spa did not work at all even after we found a plug that didn’t properly fit. Door locks on one of the screens had no latch at all so couldn’t be left open when unattended. Keys failed to work one day because they obviously deactivated them even though our check out was the next day. Door lock fell apart and would not work at all but fortunately we were checking out that day so we just left early. Would say that it was a comedy of errors but I was not amused by any of them. Definitely won’t return again and can’t recommend it to anyone anytime.
