Unfortunately, there was no disabled parking at the facility. Secondly, I had to leave my parking spot to go to a presentation and when I returned there was no available secure parking spots for my vehicle or any other if there was another guest needing to park. Very limited parking and I made comment that I had to leave my vehicle outside and really got no response from the receptionist who I felt could not have cared less.

Had waterview room that was very comfortable. Balcony overlooked the bay and room was quite large and bathroom updated and had all amenities. There was undercover secure parking and a lovely club just across the road that was zero dollars to join and receive discounts of drinks etc. Had an excellent meal there and 2 second across the road back to the hotel. Would definitely recommend for anyone staying at Batemans Bay. Can't beat it.

We stayed in the waterside king suite. A beautifully furnished suite with dual balconies boasting amazing waterfront views. Easy onsite parking and easy walking distance to an array of restaurants. Definitely worth a stay.

The best part was sleeping to the sound of waves splashing against the rocks. Nice view (ocean view room). Close to eateries and pubs. Access to club across the road. Parking could be cumbersome as there are limited spots.

The Esplanade was really great , very clean well laid out ,had great views if you book water views. Nice bathroom ,good bed and bedding. Secure car park, you would not be disappointed, location to town and resturants good.

We like the easy undercover and convenient parking. Friendly check-in and lift access to the higher floors. Rooms are modern and well fitted for a comfortable stay. Upper level riverside rooms are especially nice to sit out on the balcony and soak up the views over a drink of choice.

Lovely Hotel bit disappointing on Cleanliness Had ants in the room on the table, Window tracks very dusty, outside the bar fridge dirty and the bin very dusty. We did mention to the staff about the bin and fridge and it was cleaned the next day.

The people manning reception were friendly and helpful. Peter particularly looked after me, coming to my aid out-of-hours to retrieve something I had left in our room after I checked out. A lovely, peaceful place to stay and enjoy the boats and the sounds of the waves from the balcony and from within our room. Thank you!

View was great! The bed was and bedding, not so great. Stiff scratchy sheets that felt bumpy like the mattress covered was piled. Had to sleep on top of bedding.

The king suite was very spacious, with new bathroom with a shower and a separate bath. The toilet was also separate to the bathroom. The roo had a separate living area with sofa and small dining table and 2 balconies overlooking the bay. The room was very clean, the only thing I would say is perhaps a ceiling fan would be nice for night when it is a bit cold to have the aircon on but to circulate the air. The hotel is located on the boardwalk so a great location for walking around the bay.

The location is great, however, you can't use the verandah from dusk until dawn. Instead of sitting outside watching the harbour/river inlet at dusk and night, you must go inside and close the blockout curtains as the very, very, very bright lights illuminating the Esplanade signage are oppresively bright on the verandahs and stay on until dawn. The shower needs some silicon as the plummer and tiler have channeled the water around the drain to the centre of the bathroom (genius).

A really lovely hotel with excellent rooms. Spotlessly clean and well appointed. Excellent bathroom. My only criticisim is the room I had was on the road side of the building and it was quite noisy. Rooms on the water side would be much better.

The staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are a good size and well designed with plenty of room for 2 guests. We had a view of the water which was vwry pleasant. The bathrooms are very clean and well designed. It is easy walking distance to a number of restaurants and shops and easy walking to The Bay Pavillions entertainment centre.

We got a room facing the river and the view is amazing! The room is spacious and clean. Bed is comfortable. The Soldiers Club is just opposite the road and it's a good choice for dinner. Short drives to maccas and KFC. The only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is because I think the receptionist (who I think only work on week days) could have done better in making her guests feel welcome. She can start doing this simply by smiling 😃.

Everything about our stay in The Esplanade, Batemans Bay, was perfect. Our rooms were very clean, when we ordered room service, it was delivered at the precise time we asked for, down to the minute. Every staff member we spoke to was kind,caring and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We will be returning there for future holidays and tell all our friends to book there. Room was a good size. Nice modern bathroom. Disappointing that the gentleman who asked if it was our first visit and when advised yes, he didn't let us know that the soldiers club across the road provided temporary membership during our stay. We ate and had a few drinks there and could have benefited from members discounts. Recommend this be mentioned to guests checking in. We only realised when checking out from the little envelope they place your keycard in.

Very nice hotel for a 1 night stay. Parking on site and large rooms with balcony. Arrival service from front desk was average. Complimentary water, tea, coffee and biscuits in room. I would stay again if in Bateman's Bay as it was conveniently located on the waterfront.

When you book here, which you should, make sure you get an ocean-view room. We did, and were very glad of it indeed. The city-view side overlooks a busy multi-lane road, while the ocean-view side rooms are just lovely. Really outdid my expectations, especially as the reception area is very bland indeed! Highly recommend this place.

The Esplanade was a wonderful place to stay at Bateman’s Bay. It was in an ideal location on the bay with a boardwalk behind the hotel that was lined with stores and restaurants. Close by within 3 blocks was a shopping mall with everything that you could need while you are visiting. The room was generous in size and had a nice bathroom with a walk in shower. Everything was clean. The bed was very comfortable. We had a very nice East Indian meal for dinner just a block away and in the morning we had a lovely breakfast along the boardwalk. They even let us use their laundry facilities before we checked out! They went above and beyond our expectations.

2 night stay was great, every thing you need until you meet the manager of the attached cafe. Rude and arrogant to say the least. If all the hotel literature states breakfast till 9am then the kitchen should be serving until 9am. Not shutting everything down and refusing table service at 8:45!

Just a nice clean and comfortable stay. Wake up in the morning to an amazing view with the sun shining glistening water and pelicans. Staff at reception friendly and considerate. I’ll be back. And a good eggs Benny in the restaurant for breakfast.
