Very affordable and good value for money. The room was very clean. Noise of traffic from rooms on the front of the hotel is loud through the night. Bathroom is not ideal, the shower floods water everywhere and the sink is so small is difficult to wash your face or do anything except hold your toothbrush under the tap. Beware, there is no lift. I didn’t realise this and arrived off a long haul flight with a 24kg bag and my room was on the 3rd floor. Thankful for the security guard who helped me.

It’s a basic set up, but does the job of all you need is a bed and a shower, but keep the bathroom door closed or you’ll be up for a hefty fine if your shower steam sets off the alarm. Only vending machines for food, but there’s a servo and Maccas across Lutwyche Rd. No lift, so be prepared to carry your bags up the stairs. My room had a funky smell, but with the window open or aircon on it helped.

My room, 219, was tiny, double bed and upper bunk bed squeezed in. But clean & comfortable, liquid soap & shampoo in tiny bathroom. Milk only in fridge, tea & coffee making facilities. No bedside lamp. One hanger only under a shelf. Convenient location only 10 minutes drive from the Royal Brisbane hospital & M5 and Legacy tunnels. Bus stop a few steps up the road. The only dining close by is Macca’s and a Caltex foodary across the road. My room close to Lutwitche road, so traffic noise early and late. Would recommend as a place to lay your head.

We had some issues with our stay. As there is no reception, you just use a code to access the building. Our code didn’t work. We called the company to get support but they didn’t answer (went to voicemail). We tried again 20mins later and fortunately got through. Secondly, there is a chemical smell in the building, kind of like cleaning products. Thirdly, there was dirty underwear on the floor in our room from a previous guest, disgusting.

The room was nice and clean on arrival, the bathroom was also clean but had a cleaning solution smell to it. The bed was nice to lay in but was just two smaller beds put together. The bathroom was quite small and got very hot when using the shower and even after, the steam created by the shower would have no where to go so it would be steaming for hours, which we could not fix seeing as we could not open the door to the bathroom as it would have set of the fire alarm.

Difficult to enter. Paid for early check in, when i called up they had no idea that i had paid for early check in. Bathroom was tiny, the shower curtain stucked to me while showering. Room was tiny. Stairs to bunk above bed was in the way of the tv. Room was neat and tidy and bed was very comfortable and clean.

Staff is not helpful. Tried to extend another 2 night because of the cyclone Alfred but staff wanted to charge twice (2x) I think its a very bad taste to consumers when business tries to take advantage of the situation. Beware of this business behaviour.

There is no reception so checking in took one hour. After confirmation of the hotel and money paid, we had to then submit id's and so on, ra ra ra to get access. For the savvy or experienced it probably is a great way to go.
