Lovely clean motel that was comfortable for our family’s 2 night stay. The staff are wonderful and very accommodating. Great restaurant on site which is convenient, nice food and good prices. The only feedback i have is that the bathroom exhaust fan in our room was really loud even with the door closed. We avoided turning on the bathroom light in the middle of the night as it would’ve woken the kids. Apart from that it was a great stay and we will be back!

We stayed here for 2 nights as a family. There was great communication before, during & after our stay. The complementary breakfast each morning was a great feature, as was having a washing machine & dryer in the apartment. Our showerhead needed fixing & it was sorted promptly which was great. We all slept comfortably & were warm. The apartment itself could do with a deep clean & the pool was a little worn, but overall we had a great stay & it suited our needs.

Enjoyed my stay at Colonial Motor Inn, villa was very clean and has 2 bathrooms and 2 tv's.The Manager gave us an upgrade on arrival, so thanks alot. The pool was clean and nicely heated, overall its a relaxing place to stay with an hasske free check in and check out. 5 stars.clean

We were so impressed by the service and communication provided before during and after our stay. We loved that covid safety was a priority for the hotel, with contactless check in and out. But they still managed to provide excellent communication with us through SMS. The amenities were clean and spacious. We stayed in the two bedroom unit which even included a separate bathroom for the kids. It was so convenient. The pool was a huge hit with the kids with pool toys available. The on-site restaurant was great. Location was perfect. Only 10 minute drive to central Ballarat and Sovereign Hill. We will definitely be staying there again next time we visit Ballarat. Thanks for a great stay!

Only problem was with the lack of room with the bathroom door, as it opens inwards if you have a towel on the rack at the sink the door gets stuck on it thats how close the door is to the sink/bench Neat, clean room, no issues otherwise

Loved the provided breakfast options of fresh bread juice milk cereal and spreads. Good lighting. Good electric blankets. Easy friendly pre and post check in. Tv worked well. Low internet reception. Could hear people talking outside all three nights and freeway traffic. Room walls and bathroom not really maintained. Booked the room as advertised with bath but it looked unloved and dirty so that was disappointing. Scuff on walls that showed the walls were not clean. Bed was hard for me and had me tossing and turning all 3 nights.

We opted for cheap accomodation as we were staying purely for convenience so we didn’t have to travel too far. We got what we paid for. It was cheap but it was very noisy and the room was not the cleanest. I wouldn’t go back but hey, what can you expect at that price.

This is definitely not a 4 star motel. Mould in the shower, dead pillows a window with no curtain that lets the light into the bedroom. They came into the room each day but did not make the beds. Seriously rethink this property if you are thinking of booking.

Very dusty - next to a main road so this is probably why. Traffic noise was non-stop - even on a Sunday night. Grime around the base of the bathroom taps and dirty grout in shower was off putting. Enjoyed the pool. Tiny bathroom with impossibly hard soap wrappers to open! Never encountered that before. Nice continental breakfast each day.

Lovely place staff wonderful amenities great but the dishwasher knob fell off. Having said this I messaged the manager who was really lovely about it. Kids want to stay again!!! They also had complimentary juice box’s milk and other small bits and pieces. Great little place!!
