Great place for a local beach break. The room was large, clean and had a balcony and mini fridge. Nice check in and lobby. Great breakfast buffet out on the Monte Cristo patio. We also had dinner at Monte Cristo (make a reservation using The Fork app) and the food was wonderful and appropriately priced. The beach is a toss the road and we chose to use the Umberto Beach Club that cost 23 Euros for 2 chairs and umbrella for the day. The beach was wakable and clean and you can walk into town along the sea. Not too busy for May, but I can see how it will be crazy in the summer. Also nice mercato nearby to get snacks, water, wine and beer. Really recommend this place for something different and more local Italian vibe. PS Everyone speaks English so no troubles. Also street parking is free and safe.

This cute hotel is a 1-minute walk to the beach! It is a little outside of central Follonica, but totally walkable. We are a family of three and we walked to town every night for dinner and gelato. We also walked to and from the train-station with heavy backpacks. They do have bikes to rent at the hotel, and Follonica provide small trains after 17:30 that take you to and from town until midnight. Very clean and great buffet breakfast! Would highly recommend!

El hotel está limpio, bonito y tranquilo. La habitación es sencilla, moderna y limpia. Dispone de minibar. El desayuno buffet es simplemente espectacular no falta de nada y todo buenísimo. El aparcamiento es en la calle pero hay mucho sitio. Totalmente recomendable!

La colazione è ottima ma il locale in cui viene servita è decisamente troppo piccolo specialmente se le temperature del mattino sono fresche e non si può mangiare all’esterno. Per il resto tutto perfetto, personale gentilissimo, vicino alla spiaggia, parcheggio facile e gratuito.

Booked this hotel as part of a trip and everything was well organised at the hotel when we arrived. Lifts to all floors and clean tidy and well equipped room. Extra charge of 10 euros per night which was not excessive however there was plenty of on street parking available. Breakfast was very good however we were both disappointed with the meal in the evening. Not expensive however needs to be improved. Overall very satisfied with the hotel and services and would recommend.

Loved that this property was a short walking distance to the beaches, both public and private. Also, after a long day at the beach and in town only for a short stay you don't want to be searching for a good place to eat, and La Pineta is attached to a great restaurant - super yummy and convenient! Great stay!

Ein kleines Hotel, etwas abseits gelegen. Das Frühstück war etwas dürftig, einige Sachen waren alle, die Brötchen hart. Wir verstehen den Sinn nicht, dass man manche Sachen wie Kuchen und Wurst nur vom Personal gereicht bekommt und manche, wie Croissants und Berliner nicht. Die neuen Handtücher hatten öfters bereits Flecken. Allgemein war das Zimmer nur oberflächlich sauber. Die Vorhänge waren kaputt und gingen manchmal weder auf, noch zu. Schaut bloß nicht die Klobürste an, pfui.

Hôtel bien situé tout proche de la mer. Chambre très correct pour le prix. Par contre elles sont peu insonorisées, on est donc vite dérangé par les personnes chahutant dans les couloirs. Le petit déjeuner est à revoir: produits de médiocre qualité, la nourriture n'est pas contrôlée et est reproposée le lendemain alors qu'il y a de la moisissure dessus (tarte au chocolat). Le personnel est néanmoins très aimable.

The stay was awful because the air conditioning wasn’t operating properly resulting in an in room temperature of around 32 degrees overnight and we have a one year old baby. Spoke to the front desk on multiple occasions where they claimed to have fixed the issue but they hadn’t. Found out later our whole floor was affected. We check out half way through our stay.

Personale cordiale, al check-in l'accoglienza è stata professionale, dando informazioni utili per il soggiorno e consigli per i luoghi nelle vicinanze. Comoda posizione per arrivare al centro, come comoda è la pista ciclabile lungo tutto il percorso. Vicinissimo alle spiaggie sia libere che a strutture private. Fondamentale per chi possiede animali di piccola taglia, in quanto danno la possibilità di portarli al seguito. La camera comoda con tutti i comfort essenziali. Ottimo Hotel, di sicuro sarà una priorità per un prossimo soggiorno. Complimenti

First the good stuff: The location was very accessible. Our apartment had parking right under the room. The apartment was spacious and clean. The service was very responsive and friendly. (we communicated between broken Italian). We thought the hotel is on the beach and found out you have to cross through a camping ground which is restricted to campers. The lady at the gate was very kind to allow us to cross and we found a lovely setting with a bar with really great drinks, ice cream etc. Our room had individual air conditioners - during the nigh one of them started to make excessive noise which woke us up - it was 3am :(. Breakfast was included but the kitchen was closed off (due to COVID?) and we had to stand in line to point to what we wanted. The quality was mediocre - no veggies, only hard boiled eggs, a variety of stale cereal, jams, and a lot of sweets. We called in advance to make sure our daughter who has Celiac could get an omlette - they said no problem - but declined to provide this when we came to eat. She was offered hard gluten free cracker or biscuits or crackers.

This cute hotel is a 1-minute walk to the beach! It is a little outside of central Follonica, but totally walkable. We are a family of three and we walked to town every night for dinner and gelato. We also walked to and from the train-station with heavy backpacks. They do have bikes to rent at the hotel, and Follonica provide small trains after 17:30 that take you to and from town until midnight. Very clean and great buffet breakfast! Would highly recommend!

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereiten Personal. Der Strand ist zu Fuß unter 5 Minuten erreichbar. Frühstück sehr vielfältig und für jeden was dabei. Das einzigste was zu bemängeln ist, dass es Kaffee aus Automaten gibt und dieser dann noch nicht mal heiß ist.

Booked this hotel as part of a trip and everything was well organised at the hotel when we arrived. Lifts to all floors and clean tidy and well equipped room. Extra charge of 10 euros per night which was not excessive however there was plenty of on street parking available. Breakfast was very good however we were both disappointed with the meal in the evening. Not expensive however needs to be improved. Overall very satisfied with the hotel and services and would recommend.

Hôtel bien situé tout proche de la mer. Chambre très correct pour le prix. Par contre elles sont peu insonorisées, on est donc vite dérangé par les personnes chahutant dans les couloirs. Le petit déjeuner est à revoir: produits de médiocre qualité, la nourriture n'est pas contrôlée et est reproposée le lendemain alors qu'il y a de la moisissure dessus (tarte au chocolat). Le personnel est néanmoins très aimable.
