We had an amazing week at Creta beach hotel. We arrived in middle of night and were warm welcomed at the reception. We stayed in a bungalow/little villa which was 5 star experience. Really nice style and spacious. Bathroom amazing too. Location is perfect! It’s AT the beach with private beach for guests, nice swimming pool with bar. Very close to Heraklion to visit but also very central to make trips to other part of the island. Very close to airport. The beautiful mini golf at the hotel is also such a nice activity and looks so cool. We had an outstanding diner at the a la carte restaurant and also diner, lunch and breakfast at the normal/main restaurant was very good! Lot of choice and variation. Very good! Minor detail: the wine of the house was actually also very good..;-)..! But their wine menu is also TOP! Staff is super friendly, nice, helpful (the reception staff is SUPER! The girls and men are so kind and helpful! And so nice for kids too!). Giannis and his bartender team are great too! So friendly and know how to shake the best cocktails! Overall all staff was really good and friendly and make you feel at home. DEFINITELY recommend this hotel! If you like to wake up AT the beach/sea, ask for the rooms AT the beach. They are situated right at the beach. Really nice!

Creta Beach has a unique peaceful ambience with greener outdoor spaces. Hotel facilities and services are good. The property stayed in is quite old, only one power socket. Hotel is backing into to sandy beach and had a large swimming pool. There are daily evening shows to entain guests. Breakfast is excellent, other times we eat out, so can not comment. Staff are friendly and helpful.

This hotel is absolutely phenomenal in every way. The gardens are immaculate and well maintained, the pool is great and lots of parasols and sun loungers and the private beach is also great. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and the food is absolutely delicious and you have a lovely view of the sea at meal times. I can't recommend this place enough. Suitable for everyone and only a 10 minute taxi from Heraklion airport and you can book the transfer through the hotel. The facilities are amazing; lots of activities throughout the day like aqua zumba, yoga, mini golf, table tennis, volleyball etc etc. So many things to do - I even did a Greek lesson! 10/10 and would stay here every time. It's exactly like it looks in photos, if not better!

A very nice hotel. The food at breakfast and dinner was superb! Our room was very clean. Lots of sun loungers by the pool and on the beach. They gym equipment on the beach is in poor condition which is a shame, as is the mini golf course. Also, on our final day we wanted to have the early breakfast at 0630. Unfortunately, staff only opened the breakfast room at 0640 and therefore we only had 10 minutes to eat as we needed to leave for the airport. Overall, a very good hotel and staff were very friendly.

From check-in to departure, the hospitality and service were high. Upon arrival, we immediately received a room upgrade and a voucher for a free dinner without asking. We arrived late at the location and the reception was attentive enough to inform us that - if we wanted - we could quickly use the buffet in the restaurant before the kitchen closed. Check-in was possible later. Very nice! Upon departure we received a nice bottle of Greek olive oil. Other wishes during our stay were also no problem. We even received a packed lunch one day when we visited the city. In short: super hospitable and it gave us a wonderful holiday feeling. The only downside was the leaking shower, which meant that the bathroom floor kept getting wet and we had to (unnecessarily) sacrifice a towel every time. Although reported twice, the leak was not resolved during our stay. It caused an inconvenience, but is especially inconvenient for the hotel itself if this is not repaired.

We checked in July 11 around 2pm. They gave us a room for 3 even though in the records they had us for 2 and paid the extra charge. The room bangalow style looked rather old, there were aunts in the floor and AC unit was not working properly. It had a piece of tape on one site which I took a photo. We notified the reception about the aunts and AC and a lady came and sprayed around. They promised to take care of the AC. We thought they would and went to the beach. We came back and the AC was still bringing hot air. The phone in the room was not working and every time we need to contact the reception we had to walk in the hotter sun for about 500 meters. They said no problem we will check and fix the AC. We went out and came back 11pm. The room was awfully hot and had to walk back to the reception and this time yelled at them that this is unacceptable. They told us that they will move us to another room and gave us the keys but under the condition that we need to walk back and bring the old keys back to them. Instead of apologizing they appeared that they were doing us a favor and us moving to a proper room with AC working was conditional to bringing the card keys of the first room back. In addition they offered no help to transport our luggage to the room was not next door but to walk around to find it. The new room had no light working outside and took us sometime to find it. The new room was a bit bigger, clean and the AC was working fine. We did waste however one night.

Bezugnehmend auf den bezahlten Preis waren wir mit der Unterkunft sehr zufrieden. Wir haben ein Upgrade auf 2 Bungalows erhalten und lagen an einem guten Punkt in der Anlage. Leider war die Speisenauswahl für ein 4 Sterne Hotel etwas begrenzt und sehr auf deutsche Touristen ausgelegt. Hier hätten wir uns doch sehr mehr abwechslungsreicheres Essen gewünscht. Man merkt das das Hotel schon etwas älter ist und man sieht es an vielen Stellen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist jedoch das Personal. Alles sehr freundlich und nett. Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gut gereinigt und damit waren wir auch sehr zufrieden.

Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Besonders war auch die Freundlichkeit der Service-Damen im Buffet-Restaurant. Das Essen war lecker und abwechslungsreich. Das Zimmer und die ganze Anlage war sauber. Kann diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Genuinely had the best time here in Crete. The room i stayed in had everything you needed for a comfortable stay, the pool area is beautiful and the hotel is located right on the beach. You are walking distance from shops, restaurants and a supermarket is about a 20 min walk. There was a good selection of food for each meal and the staff are THE FRIENDLIEST people I’ve ever met. So welcoming and so kind.
Genuinely had the best time here in Crete. The room i stayed in had everything you needed for a comfortable stay, the pool area is beautiful and the hotel is located right on the beach. You are walking distance from shops, restaurants and a supermarket is about a 20 min walk. There was a good selection of food for each meal and the staff are THE FRIENDLIEST people I’ve ever met. This is a beautiful resort, not too big, right by the sea. It has a lovely sandy beach, with sun beds and umbrellas. At the time we were there, it was not crowded. The rooms in the bungalow were clean & spacious. It was also fairly quiet. It’s clear the season is new and this was apparent in the gardens which needed attention. This is perhaps my only criticism. There is potential for them to look way better once they’ve been attended to. The staff were attentive and helpful. Special mention to George at reception as well as Eva. They were very helpful to us. The hotel manager (maitre) was also always very helpful to us when we needed it. We travelled for my cousins birthday and we got some complimentary alcohol & sweets in our room. This was very thoughtful and we appreciated it. I managed to get my upgrade to a bungalow as well as late checkout as I’m an Expedia VIP member. An altogether very good stay.

Es gibt zwei Vorteile im Civitel Creta Beach: die renovierten, schönen Premium Bungalows und die tolle Lage direkt am Strand. Begrüßung hätte etwas ausführlicher sein können (z.B. Erklärung Essenszeiten/Leistung All inclusive, Vorstellung der Hotelanlage etc…). Das Essen (Angebot und Atmosphäre) hat uns nicht gut gefallen. Als All inclusive Gast erhält man noname Sirup Getränke im Pappbecher, die geschmacklich leider enttäuschend sind. Das Essen kann in buffetform (Kantinenfeeling) entweder in einem großen Speisesaal oder einer Terrasse (begrenzte Sitzmöglichkeiten) eingenommen werden. Wir konnten an einem der Abende kostenfrei (Getränke mussten bezahlt werden) das Premium Restaurant neben der Rezeption nutzen. Die Speisen dort und der Service waren hervorragend. Unbedingt ausprobieren. Fazit: Das Hotel eignet sich für Urlauber, die den Fokus auf Strand und ein schönes Zimmer legen und sich ggf. außerhalb verpflegen. We checked in July 11 around 2pm. They gave us a room for 3 even though in the records they had us for 2 and paid the extra charge. The room bangalow style looked rather old, there were aunts in the floor and AC unit was not working properly. It had a piece of tape on one site which I took a photo. We notified the reception about the aunts and AC and a lady came and sprayed around. They promised to take care of the AC. We thought they would and went to the beach. We came back and the AC was still bringing hot air. The phone in the room was not working and every time we need to contact the reception we had to walk in the hotter sun for about 500 meters. They said no problem we will check and fix the AC. We went out and came back 11pm. The room was awfully hot and had to walk back to the reception and this time yelled at them that this is unacceptable. They told us that they will move us to another room and gave us the keys but under the condition that we need to walk back and bring the old keys back to them. Instead of apologizing they appeared that they were doing us a favor and us moving to a proper room with AC working was conditional to bringing the card keys of the first room back. In addition they offered no help to transport our luggage to the room was not next door but to walk around to find it. The new room had no light working outside and took us sometime to find it. The new room was a bit bigger, clean and the AC was working fine. We did waste however one night.

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura a metà ottobre con mio marito e mio figlio. Siamo rimasti estremamente soddisfatti da tutto. Ottimo cibo ed in grandi quantità, personale cortese e disponibile, struttura recentemente ristrutturata e tenuta in modo impeccabile. Camera molto spaziosa ed insonorizzata. Posizione che ti consente comodamente di raggiungere qualsiasi posto. Nulla da dire, lo consigliamo assolutamente!

We really enjoyed out stay in this hotel! The bets thing about it is the people - we were made to feel welcome and everyone working here was atentive and warm and made us feel super welcome! (Thanks for all those extra treats - fruit, coffee, ouzo!). The food is lovely and fresh, the pool was incredible and the beach and sea beautiful. We were walking distance to different restaurants and shops, and it was easy to go to Knossos too. A fantastic stay! Thank you!

From check-in to departure, the hospitality and service were high. Upon arrival, we immediately received a room upgrade and a voucher for a free dinner without asking. We arrived late at the location and the reception was attentive enough to inform us that - if we wanted - we could quickly use the buffet in the restaurant before the kitchen closed. Check-in was possible later. Very nice! Upon departure we received a nice bottle of Greek olive oil. Other wishes during our stay were also no problem. We even received a packed lunch one day when we visited the city. In short: super hospitable and it gave us a wonderful holiday feeling. The only downside was the leaking shower, which meant that the bathroom floor kept getting wet and we had to (unnecessarily) sacrifice a towel every time. Although reported twice, the leak was not resolved during our stay. It caused an inconvenience, but is especially inconvenient for the hotel itself if this is not repaired.

I spent incredible time in Civitel Hotel which is absolutely fantastic, nothing is missing there ... I would like to especially thanks John at the reception, and the amazing staff who had been so gentle and considerate with me .... Civitel Creta Beach was an absolute wonder to stay in. The staff is what really made my experience stand out. I was in the EU for a couple weeks and I stayed here for only a few days and this place was by far the best place I visited. It was very clean and the food was amazing! The staff deserves all the credit for making my experience very special.

If you stay in Crete you must stay at this resort!!! We were right next to the beach!!! They have plenty of lounge chairs and umbrella’s on the beach. The pool is nice also with lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The breakfast buffet is excellent there are so many choices. George at the front desk was amazing. This is a must stay at resort!!!

The checkin was terrible due to a discrepancy between the booking with Expedia and the resort. Expedia was quick to provide info to the resort but the resort wouldn’t accept the information. We spent 2 hours at the checkin counter and asked to have a room and then I continued to work on getting a resolution, which didn’t happen until the next day. Gianni’s at the front desk was terrible, rude and disrespectful! However the other staff were very friendly at the buffet restaurant and at the bar pool. Mario at the bar was excellent! The room was very clean. Thongs were not fully open and so the a la cart restaurant was not available for us to book during our 3 night stay, there were no shows or theme restaurant available. The beach is beautiful, you can walk for miles in both directions but it was difficult to find a chair that wasn’t dirty, lots of bird poop. The buffet restaurant food was great but they have set hours for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so food is not available 24/7 as an all inclusive, I am used to having that service. We played mini putt golf and it was fun even though it is in rough shape. Ball went into the hole and never came out so we had to go and ask for another ball! We went out to a Thalassina Aura restaurant across the street and they had live entertainment and was a lot of fun! Crete is a beautiful island and would highly recommend!

Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Besonders war auch die Freundlichkeit der Service-Damen im Buffet-Restaurant. Das Essen war lecker und abwechslungsreich. Das Zimmer und die ganze Anlage war sauber. Kann diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

We had an amazing week at Creta beach hotel. We arrived in middle of night and were warm welcomed at the reception. We stayed in a bungalow/little villa which was 5 star experience. Really nice style and spacious. Bathroom amazing too. Location is perfect! It’s AT the beach with private beach for guests, nice swimming pool with bar. Very close to Heraklion to visit but also very central to make trips to other part of the island. Very close to airport. The beautiful mini golf at the hotel is also such a nice activity and looks so cool. We had an outstanding diner at the a la carte restaurant and also diner, lunch and breakfast at the normal/main restaurant was very good! Lot of choice and variation. Very good! Minor detail: the wine of the house was actually also very good..;-)..! But their wine menu is also TOP! Staff is super friendly, nice, helpful (the reception staff is SUPER! The girls and men are so kind and helpful! And so nice for kids too!). Giannis and his bartender team are great too! So friendly and know how to shake the best cocktails! Overall all staff was really good and friendly and make you feel at home. DEFINITELY recommend this hotel! If you like to wake up AT the beach/sea, ask for the rooms AT the beach. They are situated right at the beach. Really nice!

In die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, saubere Bungalows mit dringendem Renovierungsbedarf im Bad (Duschkopf ohne Halterung, Handtuchstange fällt herunter) Essensauswahl nicht besonders, in Warmhaltebehältern präsentiert. Wenig frische Zubereitung, wenig lokale Küche. Schade! Minibar im Zimmer (all inclusive!) enthält nur Wasser und zu Beginn zwei Limonaden und wird nicht nachgefüllt. Safe muss für €3 pro Tag zusätzlich bezahlt werden, man erhält einen Schlüssel, unpraktisch! Insgesamt stimmte für mich das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis nicht und den "Umgangston", z.B. "bei Verlust des Badetuchs Gebühr von 15€" kenne ich so nicht. Die Lage mit schönem Sandstrand und Bushaltestelle vor der Tür war für mich das Schönste. Empfehlen möchte ich dieses Hotel nicht.

Honestly had the best time at this hotel. We loved the really varied buffet and also devoured the dessert buffet omg so good every night. The rooms were cute little mini-villas with a terrace that felt like you were in a pretty tropical garden. Lots of birds and butterflies on the grounds. We arrived late but there were still staff to greet us and there was even a goody bag with fruit and a sandwich. Super convenient to get to from the airport and then there was a bus stop right outside or you could easily walk westwards and get to the trails by the Almiros Gorge which had so much wildlife. You could step straight onto the beach with a dedicated lounger area and they provided towels to use on the beach. Our room had a fridge which was such a blessing to keep milk in as we are keen tea drinkers! All in all we had such a nice stay. I’d recommend the bus tour to chania and lake kournas which you can organise using one of the companies along the main road and they’ll pick you up from the hotel.

Creta Beach has a unique peaceful ambience with greener outdoor spaces. Hotel facilities and services are good. The property stayed in is quite old, only one power socket. Hotel is backing into to sandy beach and had a large swimming pool. There are daily evening shows to entain guests. Breakfast is excellent, other times we eat out, so can not comment. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura a metà ottobre con mio marito e mio figlio. Siamo rimasti estremamente soddisfatti da tutto. Ottimo cibo ed in grandi quantità, personale cortese e disponibile, struttura recentemente ristrutturata e tenuta in modo impeccabile. Camera molto spaziosa ed insonorizzata. We really enjoyed out stay in this hotel! The bets thing about it is the people - we were made to feel welcome and everyone working here was atentive and warm and made us feel super welcome! (Thanks for all those extra treats - fruit, coffee, ouzo!). The food is lovely and fresh, the pool was incredible and the beach and sea beautiful. We were walking distance to different restaurants and shops, and it was easy to go to Knossos too. A fantastic stay! Thank you!

We had an amazing week at Creta beach hotel. We arrived in middle of night and were warm welcomed at the reception. We stayed in a bungalow/little villa which was 5 star experience. Really nice style and spacious. Bathroom amazing too. Location is perfect! It’s AT the beach with private beach for guests, nice swimming pool with bar. Very close to Heraklion to visit but also very central to make trips to other part of the island. Very close to airport. The beautiful mini golf at the hotel is also such a nice activity and looks so cool. We had an outstanding diner at the a la carte restaurant and also diner, lunch and breakfast at the normal/main restaurant was very good! Lot of choice and variation. Very good! Minor detail: the wine of the house was actually also very good..;-)..! But their wine menu is also TOP! Staff is super friendly, nice, helpful (the reception staff is SUPER! The girls and men are so kind and helpful! And so nice for kids too!). Giannis and his bartender team are great too! So friendly and know how to shake the best cocktails! Overall all staff was really good and friendly and make you feel at home. DEFINITELY recommend this hotel! If you like to wake up AT the beach/sea, ask for the rooms AT the beach. They are situated right at the beach. Really nice!

What a lovely break - we haven’t been on holiday in over 4 years.. this was the perfect one back! It was super relaxing, the all inclusive food was always interesting and had a large range to choose from. The staff (especially in the restaurant) where wonderful I believe his name was Sofkolis (apologies if wrong) was a star, he already knew what drinks we wanted as we were arriving. A lovely place for a relaxing break!

Es gibt zwei Vorteile im Civitel Creta Beach: die renovierten, schönen Premium Bungalows und die tolle Lage direkt am Strand. Begrüßung hätte etwas ausführlicher sein können (z.B. Erklärung Essenszeiten/Leistung All inclusive, Vorstellung der Hotelanlage etc…). Das Essen (Angebot und Atmosphäre) hat uns nicht gut gefallen. Als All inclusive Gast erhält man noname Sirup Getränke im Pappbecher, die geschmacklich leider enttäuschend sind. Das Essen kann in buffetform (Kantinenfeeling) entweder in einem großen Speisesaal oder einer Terrasse (begrenzte Sitzmöglichkeiten) eingenommen werden. Wir konnten an einem der Abende kostenfrei (Getränke mussten bezahlt werden) das Premium Restaurant neben der Rezeption nutzen. Die Speisen dort und der Service waren hervorragend. Unbedingt ausprobieren. Fazit: Das Hotel eignet sich für Urlauber, die den Fokus auf Strand und ein schönes Zimmer legen und sich ggf. außerhalb verpflegen. Zur Wahrheit gehört jedoch auch dass wir Gäste gesehen haben, denen es scheinbar gut geschmeckt hat :D

The checkin was terrible due to a discrepancy between the booking with Expedia and the resort. Expedia was quick to provide info to the resort but the resort wouldn’t accept the information. We spent 2 hours at the checkin counter and asked to have a room and then I continued to work on getting a resolution, which didn’t happen until the next day. Gianni’s at the front desk was terrible, rude and disrespectful! However the other staff were very friendly at the buffet restaurant and at the bar pool. Mario at the bar was excellent! The room was very clean. Thongs were not fully open and so the a la cart restaurant was not available for us to book during our 3 night stay, there were no shows or theme restaurant available. The beach is beautiful, you can walk for miles in both directions but it was difficult to find a chair that wasn’t dirty, lots of bird poop. The buffet restaurant food was great but they have set hours for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so food is not available 24/7 as an all inclusive, I am used to having that service. We played mini putt golf and it was fun even though it is in rough shape. Ball went into the hole and never came out so we had to go and ask for another ball! We went out to a Thalassina Aura restaurant across the street and they had live entertainment and was a lot of fun! Crete is a beautiful island and would highly recommend!
