The interior has been upgraded to a high level of finish, with comfortable mattresses and pillows, and the walk-in shower and large, thick towels are outstanding. Check in was easy, all the details came in a text. The room and bathroom were super clean, everything appears and seemed BRAND NEW! We liked the fact that it had a microwave, small refrigerator, toaster and coffee maker.

Very clean room, comfortable beds, and well maintained. Room was also quieter than I expected since it’s an older building and older buildings sometimes have substandard sound insulation. Bathroom was also very modern and spacious The property owner texted me the door code a day before the check-in so accessing the room was seamless

Very nice motel. Clean and had everything we needed. The only request is you need taller toilets. I'm only 5'2 and they were too short for me. I felt like I was sitting on the floor and really hard to get up from. Our friends were in a different room and said the same thing.

This was hotel #17 in our tour of the Maritimes. By far, the most comfortable room!! The outside of the property is your typical slightly dated motel. Do not let it fool you!! Inside, the room appeared to be newly renovated - it was the cleanest, best room we have stayed in so far. Mattress and pillows were SO comfortable. Room was very well stocked and clean. My husband even commented how "fluffy" the bath towels were lol! Check in was easy - it was an email with your code, and plenty of parking! What a great stay, highly recommend!!

The Tom’s were so clean. The service was great. There were conveniences available that you do not normally get in a hotel. I even used the laundry services and the laundry soap and dryer sheets were provided! Thanks for a lovely stay. I would definitely recommend this Motel.

We were instructed via text how to get in our room then there was not human contact for check in/out. When we booked this hotel via Expedia, they only accepted payment in advance. It is a motel with approximately 15 units, our unit had 2 queen beds, TV, refrigerator, microwave, kitchen utensils, coffee and tea maker. The TV allows to use your subscriptions (prime video, Roku, Disney). The unit was cleaned and it seemed recently remodeled, bathroom was really nice and laundry facility ($2.50 per machine/ at the main office/included drier sheets and detergent)was a plus. It is located near to downtown driving short distance or long walking distance. The town is beautiful and certainly, it is difficult and very expensive to find a place in town. This motel can be a good option for families as in town there are a lot of B&B more likely for couples

Large, spotless, perfectly equipped room which included dishes, cups (Even wine glasses!), small table & chairs + a renovated bathroom with a huge, modern glass shower. Best shower of our 2 week trip although pressure somewhat weak. Comfy bed. 4 min drive to main street. Great quiet location on a large property. I highly recommend this modern Motel. Great value.

The checkin/checkout process was quick & simple. The room was spotlessly clean. There was a fridge, microwave, large electric kettle & utensils. The shower was large & actually beautiful (appears a recent renovation). There was no carpet, which was perfect due to our allergies. Bed was comfy. I would definitely stay again.

We had one of the suites, which was like a small apartment. Had a separate bedroom, full kitchen, eating area and a living room which had a pull out bed. It had also been completed renovated.

Homeport was a great two night stay in Lunenburg. Beds comfy. Shower huge. We were in a new room. Parking right out front was great. Only thing would be if kitchen area was a little bigger. Bathroom could have been smaller to allow for this in my opinion. It was a bit squishy for 3 adults but we would stay again as very economical

The units are being updated and are clean, the bathroom looked new, but the rest of the unit still needs upgrading. The kitchenette was much older and the floor was spongy in spots. We were there thru the a tropical storm, so there was no power and the keeper didn't seem to know how to be a great host. We had to ask to use the generator to get some water boiled for something warm to drink/eat. Overall, not a great experience.

Once I checked in there was no communication from anyone. I paid, was given a key, and told where to leave the key when I left. I was given a tiny slip on paper with a man's name on it and told to call if there was a problem. It made me feel like all that mattered was them getting their money.

Le bureau d'accueil était toujours fermé. À notre arrivé l'accueil était fermé, il a fallu appeler avec mon cellulaire (pas Internet dessus), le numéro de téléphone était sur la porte. Il a fallu aller chercher notre portable dans le fond de la voiture pour l'ouvrir, ce connecter et lire de courriel pour avoir le code pour la porte de chambre. On manquait de serviette et de papier de toilette, l'accueil était fermé, il a fallu appeler par téléphone pour qu'il vienne en apporter. Lors de notre départ, on n'a pas pu payer la facture et avoir un reçu. L'accueil était fermé et on était pressé de partir.

This is the best hotel/motel we have stayed in on this NS trip. It might not have the exterior charm of the Lunenburg waterfront but it’s so clean and easy to access. Lunenburg is walkable (1km away) if you like walking as well. No hassles. You get a code texted to you prior to check in and it’s self-managed from there. Quiet, even though it was fully booked. Comfy beds.

Convenient to waterfront & Blue Nose II. LOVED THE SHOWER. Comfortable beds. A little odd washing dishes in the bathroom sink, but a dish tub was provided. Had a toaster along with the regular microwave/fridge amenities.

I have never had an experience in a motel situation like this one. These people treated me like family. They invited me to lunch and dinner. Breakfast was provided as a benefit of staying with them. I’m going back in two days for another two day stay before leaving for home.

The suite was clean and comfortable. Manager Mark was delightful. It is a short walk to the grocery and the full kitchen made eating out every meal optional which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend this place.
