Wonderful off-the-beaten-path setting only a few miles from Lunenburg. A combo of motel rooms and brightly colored cottages. The room and grounds were spotless and appears to be recently updated. A comfortable bed and nice bedding and water views from both sides of the room. The big fire pit was a nice place to gather for the guests. Would come back!

My 4 nite stay was in a single queen cottage. It had full ammenties, kitchenette with small appliances/kitchen wear, sink etc. There’s a cute little porch with adirondack style bench seat, as well a BBQ with shared picnic table area. Although not used during my stay, there was a communal firepit surrounded by adirondack seating. The shower was quite small, but adequate. I would definitely recommend and would stay again👍

It is not walkable but Lunenburg is a short drive away. Coffee in the morning on the cabin deck and a beverage on the beach at night was relaxing. Our cabin was small but had everything we needed. Very clean and staff was welcoming and accessible.

Cute renovated old-style motel - bright rooms with huge windows front and back. Very quiet, close to a beach you can walk along, a short drive or a longer walk into town - the brewery and The Knot pub particularly close and both worth a visit.

Lunenburg is spectacularly beautiful. The tiny house cottages were quaint and charming. Very private with easy access to a private beach. Property was clean and the staff was polite. Would recommend.

Excellent location, across street from a beach and a pretty Lily pond behind. Stayed in one of the motel rooms. Nice decor, looks newly done. Very comfortable space. Fresh ground coffee provided for a 4 cup coffee maker versus the horrid pods, a really nice appreciated touch. Picnic tables and benches outside for sitting. Great proximity to Lunenburg Old Town and coming and going to visit the area.

Very pretty area. Freshly painted, clean room. Comfortable bed. My only problem was there was no place to put a suitcase. I kept mine in the trunk and only brought in my toiletries and one change of clothes. But otherwise, it was great.

The room was impeccably clean and fresh. The decor was relaxed and felt like a beach house. We appreciated the dishes and cooking implements stocked in the kitchenette. It was easy to make breakfast before heading out for adventures. The location was beautiful, and the ocean breeze made sitting outside very comfortable. The internet was available but we did find the speed difficult. A small inconvenience that didn't affect our visit much. We look forward to staying for a longer visit!

The property is beautiful and it appears to have been recently renovated. It was impeccably clean which was wonderful however the beds (at least in our room) were awful. You can feel the springs in the mattress and the pillows were itty bitty.

We had a wonderful stay! Our motel room was clean, quiet, and bright with two large windows offering stunning views of the pond and ocean. We even spotted the Bluenose sailing by! This place has earned its spot as our go-to destination when visiting Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Chester, and Oak Island. We highly recommend booking the Bluenose Sailing 2 1/2 hour tour and Oak Island Tour ahead of time, as they're extremely popular and sell out fast!

Loved the windows on both sides of the rooms. Made for a really bright room. Beds super comfortable. Bathroom very small but fine for me but my 6’5 husband has a hard time in shower especially. Terrible internet but that wasn’t what we were there for anyway.

Great place. Panoramic windows looking out onto Atlantic Ocean on one side and a wetland on the other. Clean, minimal design. Bathroom was pretty cosy, but no big deal. Very close to Lunenburg but also very quiet st night.

Room was so clean and cute, right by the water. Bed was comfortable and we had a great sleep! My only complaint was the man at the front desk was a little rude and not friendly at all upon our arrival. The other staff we interacted with were great though.

This little hotel is an absolute gem! We were pleasantly surprised to find a great Scandinavian decor room with an unbelievable waterfront view out a large back picture window. The new air conditioning unit was whisper quite and comfortable during a blazing heat wave. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is situated an an area of fabulous natural beauty with trails, which was wonderfully quite and peaceful yet convenient to Lunenburg. The drive or walk into Lunenburg along the bay affords a spectacular view of the harbour.

The Atlantic View Motels & Cottages is a cozy and well taken care of accommodations. Up to date inside and close to all amenities required. A full size fridge is excellent when you're travelling and preparing your own meals. Marcus the owner is very kind and helpful. Located just 2 minutes outside of 'downtown' Lunenberg where you can visit the Bluenose II and the quaint town and just 10 minutes to Mahone Bay.

Markus was very friendly, professional and made the check-in process easy. The cottage was spotlessly clean, and the area is quiet. The view of the bay was very good and it is an easy route to get to Lunenburg for food, shopping, and sight seeing. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

The owner/ manager is rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. The beach pictured is not a sand beach, but a rocky beach with water that has scum on it. The bathroom is tiny with a prefab shower that has very little room for shampoo, etc.

When we artived at 8:00 pm, there was a note on the office door, with my name on it, saying we were in room 6 and it was unlocked. Got in the room and saw that he had used my credit card to pay for the room. Even though i was supposed to pay at check in. When i went to the office the next morning, there was nobody there. As i was about to leave, i saw a man who turned out to be the owner or manager. Dismissed my concern about leaving my paid room unlocked. Paid no attention to my suggestion that a buzzer should be provided for after hour check in. Very rude. Bathroom ridiculously small. No overhead light. Only plug in i found was behind the night table.

We booked a 1 night stay in order to he close to Digby for our early morning BluNOSE Ii sailing. Hotel is okay and very clean. Location is inconvenient as there road conditions are poor and you cannot walk into town. There were no BBQ facilities unless you rented a cabin and the bathrooms were extremely small. Not recommending to family or.friends.town

Nice quiet location out of the busy town. Room spacious with bedroom and kitchen area divided. Suggestion to owner: trim your bushes on road, although it's a very quiet road, it's hard to see around the corner.

This property is off the beaten track and is serene and quiet. Our room had a large window in the front with a view of the bay and a large window in the back with a lovely view of a marsh pool and woods. The room furnishings were tasteful and simple. This is a place where you can rest and unwind but is within easy driving distance to all the sites of Lunenburg.

It was quote comfortable even if the bathroom was tiny!! But the room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Room was quite spacious. Pretty view out the window. Walk to town is doable but no sidewalk so a little risky after dark. The beach os rigjt across the road so very convenient!

A fabulous location , but you really need a car! Marcus the owner kindly drove us into Lunenburg and we were able to get a taxi back with Bobby who is the main very friendly taxi driver. The motel room is very modern and comfortable, and with a lake at the back and the sea at the front it is a really idyllic place to stay.

This motel was lovely. These units were delightful and were wonderfully decorated simply but tastefully. The kitchen was well stocked with full sized a fridge freezer which fit an entire bag of ice. The stove was a glass top and we were able to reheat a frozen pizza in the oven. You can walk to the Atlantic Ocean from the hotel though it is a shingle beach but there were lots of collectible shells and stones. We used the motel as a base. It is walking distance to Lunenburg 1.9 km

A beautiful clean property looking out to the Bay just around the point from Lunenberg. Highly recommend staying here. We would suggest pa microwave for the motel rooms. We had a fridge but no microwave.

It was very clean and quiet. The only drawback was that there was no kitchen sink or stove, and only a mini fridge. I didn't realize this when booking. It was very inconvenient for preparing meals and doing dishes. The smaller cottages are really just basically a motel room.

We stayed in Room 7 (cottages are also available). Appeared to be recently renovated. Small rooms and bathroom, but the full windows in both the front and the back, really opens the room up and does not feel small. TV was relatively small, to what one would expect. No onsite restaurant, but lots of options close by. Only real marginal complaint was that the fridge was not very cold.

Such a great little place, we loved having the kitchen. So convenient. Comfy beds, loved the heat pump for heat and a/c. Close to Lunenburg without having to stay in town. Excellent to get out to the south shore! Highly recommend!!
