The property is nice we liked our room with the balcony over looking the pool area.the pool itself was nice warm and the hot tub the only thing which I think should be looked at is the the tile that gets really wet and very very slippery could be updated to something more none slippery.Other than that I rate this place as good but also can be excellent

Facilities not as expected. Sauna not operational and was turned into a "rest" room. Cable machine in the fitness room not operational. Missing dumbell weights. Arcade room didn’t have a ball for the foosball table and video game console not working. Didn’t get a chance to go experience the pool bcuz not enough towels for guests to use. However, staff was friendly, rooms were clean and bed was comfortable.

Good location, but hotel room was very dirty. Black mold in bathroom, behind bed looks like it was never cleaned. The whole stay they did not clean our room even though we had the sign on to clean. Also pillows were super hard, we had to go buy our own pillows. I would not recommend.

There was black lining on the tiles in the bathroom. The paint was peeling around the window. The fact that our sideline was of the roof top generator and we were charge <170$ for the ‘exterior view’ is disgraceful. The furniture was wearing and visibly cracked on the surface. I felt like I was staying in a germ hotel. Once we got there and realized the place looks NOTHING like the website- of course we couldn’t leave… because we were locked in through Expedia booking. I’m disappointed they even advertise this hotel to its customers. Brutal.

What ls nice about the hotel is that the indoor pool was large and heated & there is a lifeguard. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. There is coffee maker and fridge. The room and hallways do not have musty smell even if its carpeted. The downside of this hotel is there is no microwave in the room, not enough light (just fee switches for make the room dim-lit), the heater in the room is not working that well especially at night time. The bed/linens might have dust mites because it feels itchy all throughout our stay. The pillows are not comfortable, they are bulky and hard. Not decent for sleeping, they can switch to a better softer pillow. The laundry room was poor - 2 machines broken. The carpet is dirty.

Purpose of trip was to rest/relax for 3 days. We were excited cause the pictures looked great. Bathtub had mould in the grout which we advised staff about. Said they would do something -never did. Had construction noise 2 of the 3 days in the pool area so couldn't really enjoy the balcony or read without excessive noise. Hot tub was drained one of the days. Tried to call for Room service and no one answered so we went elsewhere for meals. At one point one of the janitors ran the electrical cord for the vacuum through the water of the pool which I brought to the attention of the staff who didn't seem to care. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told they would call me but in fact it was the same staff member that called me and offered me a 15% discount "the best the manager (if there even was one) said they could do."

Stayed one night, got a corner room, barely have a view. Bathroom was very small. It was ok but nothing wow, must come with the price I paid. However staff was ok, check-in was fast. Overall hotel was ok.

Check-in wasn’t until 5pm—pretty late, especially after a long day of travel. The room itself was well decorated, and the balcony was a nice feature. However, being right next to the pool made the room quite humid, and the A/C never cooled below 72 degrees, so we ended up not using the balcony. In hindsight, we probably could have skipped the extra cost for it. The TV volume also seemed limited—probably to avoid disturbing neighboring rooms—which is understandable, but it made it hard to hear dialogue, so we had to rely on closed captions. Overall, no major issues—just a few minor inconveniences.

Bel hôtel, chambre agréable, mais il n’y a aucune insonorisation pour les chambres avec « vue » sur la piscine. Ils jouent de la musique de 8h à 21h environ, et c’est aussi fort dans la piscine que dans la chambre quasiment. Si vous comptiez vous reposer dans votre chambre d’hotel, ce sera impossible même avec des bouchons ! Très déçue.

Le divan était très magané( déchiré). La toilette bougeait quand on s'assesoit dessus et cogne sur le mur.. Nous avions un balcon et le matin la piscine ouvre un peu tôt et nous entendons les gens dans la piscine et les gens qui jase sur leur balcon. Pas bien insonorisé.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here coming from Maine. The location is fairly convenient with a straight shot into the old city. With that being said returning to the hotel is an absolute nightmare due to construction! I was unable to turn into the parking lot and ended up on the highway going the opposite direction in a snowstorm. The pool area is nice but VERY noisy when you have a balcony room. The kids take over including the hottub. On the weekend they have live music and while nice it’s incredibly loud. Don’t plan on going to bed until at least 10. I highly suggest a noise machine to drown out the hockey players and the other events near the pool. The room is adequate. The shower was great with a deep tub and plenty of hot water. Some wear and tear for sure but overall a decent stay for the price.

⭐️⭐️ Beautiful hotel, but unacceptable service – no room cleaning for 2 nights I stayed at Hôtel Plaza Québec par JARO (August 21–23) and, unfortunately, what could have been a great experience was completely ruined by unacceptable service and a total lack of accountability. Despite staying two nights, our room was never cleaned — no fresh towels, no trash removed, no beds made. I reported this issue to two housekeeping staff members in the hallway, and then again at the front desk. I was ignored every time. No explanation, no apology, nothing. When I insisted on speaking to a supervisor (at 2:00 PM on the second day), I was told there was no supervisor available. No one even tried to resolve the issue or follow up. We were simply dismissed and treated with complete indifference. This level of service is unacceptable, especially for a hotel that presents itself as upscale. I’m requesting at least one night’s refund, as I paid for a full-service hotel via Expedia and did not receive basic housekeeping. It’s truly a shame, because the hotel itself is beautiful and well-equipped — with a pool, restaurant, and other great amenities. But none of that matters if guests are treated poorly and basic standards are not met. Until service improves, I cannot recommend this hotel, and I will be taking this issue up with Expedia for compensation.

This hotel online has everything you would want in a family hotel - arcade, pool, gym, lifeguard, etc. However, quickly we found out that most things were neglected, broken, and beyond repair. We were underwhelmed. The vents left the ceilings dirty, tiles were broken in the pool, gym equipment broken, arcade games broken, vending machines empty and broken, our phone was unplugged for some odd reason, the bathroom doors didn't shut fully, they couldn't find my reservation, someone knocked on my door thinking I was part of a bus tour early in the morning and the list goes on. However were nice!

Hotel JARO was good but not great. The staff was friendly but not super responsive. We asked for towels and it took a while. They never cleaned our room no matter if we put the service request sign up or not. Often room service trays were left in the hall for a long time. It was also in an area with a lot of construction. If we could do it again, I think we would have stayed closer to the Old City.

Told 4 ice machines. One on each of floors 1, 3, 5, 7. What wasn’t said was that only one working was on floor 7. We were there 3 nights and even when we checked out the manager didn't seem to be aware of the situation. Two days had to call to get our made up. NOT FRESH BEDDING......simply made up. Asked for a wake-up call one morning. Fortunately we had woken on our own because volume on phone when it came was barely audible. At checkout my wife went to get a baggage cart and was told she couldn't have one. So I went down and argued with manager who finally allowed me to take one.

Overall, it turned out ok. Be aware that booking with Expedia, you may not get the best of rooms. When we first arrived, the room that we had was not what was expected. We booked a room with a balcony on the ground floor of the pool area. But we had a corner room, with NO light coming in. The balcony was behind a pillar and there was nothing to view. The room felt damp. It was really depressing. I went to complain that there was no way we could stay there for 3 nights. At first, the man at the front desk was telling me there was nothing he could do. Finally, we were offered a room with an outside view (of the parking lot, on ground lever, not exactly nice) for the first night and the best room of the garden level for the other two nights. The second room was really nice and helped making our trip a good experience. But I don’t feel like booking this hotel again. There are simply too many rooms I wouldn’t like to get.

Comfortable, clean. Good restaurant. There was no explenation about parking. No tea in the room. No instructions in English on how to use the coffee machine (mind you, the instructions in French were helpful either). Security fee was charged twice with only one refund. Luckily i found the mistake and had it reversed.

The hotel is unique we loved the pool and style of the hotel. The games room is outdated. The service at the restaurant was slow and didn't seem to care much (for example we got and finished our appetizers before we got our drinks).

Great property, great food- breakfast buffet with fresh crepes and lox wow- the pool was great as well - we had a pool facing room it was good but loud even up to 10:30. The bar staff were not very responsive though- each night we went and we were not served for about 15 min. But overall good stay!!!
