No elevator / lift to go upstairs. Quite difficult to manoeuvre heavy luggage to rooms upstairs. The shower and Air conditioning are good.

Convenient location. Great service. Needed to go up flight of stairs (ok for me). Music loudish on weekend but was quiet late at night. Handy having pub for dinner downstairs.

Pub accommodation. Simple but nice

Staff was great. Hotel was nothing fancy; older with stairs to lobby/bar and room. Easy walk to The Rocks, and both Darling Harbor and Circular Quay.

Did everything we needed. Great location, friendly staff and excellent service. Comfy beds, handy breakfast area always stocked and rooms serviced daily. Pub downstairs great for a nightcap as well as good food and menu range. Noise never a Issue for if even on a Saturday night. Would stay again.

The stairs are very high, have to carry the luggage isn't easy.

The location is great for transportation. The photos on line are very nice. The hotel is a dump. Marginal maintenance and absolutely minimum facilities. The bartenders that run the place are really helpful and friendly people.

The property was clean but was in need of some repairs. The bathroom door didn’t slide shut and the tap wasn’t seated properly in the sink.

The room was nice and clean with daily turnover service, unbeatable location for the convention centre!

Good value for the price, especially for the position. Such an easy walk to the ICC. Room and bed linen were clean, though the bathroom could use a good update and clean. Friendly staff.

The accommodation is pretty basic and fairly run down. Very comfortable beds. The only thing we really didn't like was how dirty the room and bathroom were. There were still hairs on the floor from the previous occupants and it looked like the room never really gets a deep cleaning. The latch inside the bathroom door was broken, there was no way to turn off the noisy fan in the bathroom that was on 24/7. Other than that, it's convenient, within walkable distance from all the Darling Harbour amenities and CBD and surprisingly quiet.

Accommodation part of the hotel needs a bit of maintenance. Tap in our ensuite needed fixing, shower cubicle needs a good clean. Some of the walls need patching up as the hotel is rather dated. Otherwise our stay was okay.

A comfortable bed and a hot shower, all that is needed really.

Can't recommend it to anyone. No phone in room, no proper door between bedroom and bathroom. It's a sliding door like closets door without locks. This hotel is with Pub and bar. Music from downstairs was very loud because of pub. Never ever recommend it to anyone

Loved staying here! Area is very nice and walkable. Bed is comfy. A/C is good. All around very comfortable and good place to stay.

Clean and comfortable. If you are noise sensitive, take earplugs. Road is very busy and whilst the music in the pub wasn’t overly loud, you will hear it. Food and drink very reasonable price and tasty. Fantastic service.

3mins walk to ICC. Room is clean but look much smaller than pictures, a bit of noisey before midnight due to the bar understair. Bar ordered food is average. Staff are friendly and helfpful.

Hotel room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Located very handy to ICC and Convention Centre. Only complaint is we were expecting breakfast as per conditions. No bread, or cereal in the room. We requested some as we went out, but arriving back later that night still nothing.

The room was clean and tidy. The property is situated at a crossroads and was noisy all the time with passing traffic. The bar is ok, staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice basic room in handy location, but could hear loud Wednesday night karaoke until 1, and was woken by (false) smoke alarm 6:15 Friday morning!

We got there at 10:30am, and fortunately an employee was inside and even though doors were locked, let us into the pub to leave our bags while we wandered the city. Also, don't expect a late checkout. Checkout is 10:00am, and about 9:55 housekeeping knocked on our door to see if we were leaving. We were in the midst of packing, and I asked if we could have until 10:15 to which he replied, "No." The breakfast is very basic: toast, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, tea. It is convenient as it is on the same floor as the rooms.

Having arrived in Sydney early in the morning, I knew that I would have to wait until the hotel / pub opened to check in. However, seeing someone in the bar, I took a chance and knocked on the door. Tony (? - from New Zealand) was most welcoming, got me a drink, told me all about the hotel / food options etc. and offered to look after my luggage if I wanted to go out and come back later once the room was ready. The room, which was serviced daily, was basically just what I wanted - nothing fancy, but somewhere to shower & sleep. The breakfast option (bread / butter / jam / honey / coffee / tea / milk all available outside the room) was ideal for me as I had a few late nights & early mornings, so could grab what I wanted when I needed it. I would certainly be happy to stay again. Downsides? Well, apart from the guy in the next room running his shower at 3.00 a.m. and setting off the fire alarm with the steam (then locking himself out of the room, so couldn't turn the shower off!!) the only real issue was that the hotel is on a corner so there was some traffic noise. That said, I was so tired with all I was doing, that it hardly stopped me sleeping. I understand that the hotel was about to change hands and an update to some of the decorating would help, but if I do ever return to Sydney, the Glasgow Arms would be top of my list. Thanks for a great time.

The property is very clean,but the interior needs renovation, respextivly this is not yet completed. The breakfast is a little bit poor. The host is very friendly and helpful. This hotel a s special charme and i would go there again.

Great family staff. Room was clean but basic. Coffee/breakfast supplies outside rooms in hallway. Very reasonably priced.
