The room we stayed in was really nice. Staff didn't explain that breakfast was available or offer it. Was also not told that booking out was at 10am & not 9:30, like the website states. I was not able to see the additional information until I went in to hand my key in at 9:10 when I was leaving yesterday (Sunday)

Nice looking hotel with impressive grounds, the room I had was more motel in design, hot as an oven when I checked in (2230) and no visible way to control temperature. There was a desk fan and this I used next to an open window to cool the room down. The room was clean and has all I would need. Towels, shower gel and toilet. All clean and all of good quality. Lots of power points but none by the bed to charge phone or watch. What let this property down was the bed. The mattress felt like it was springs only with no padding. Sitting or laying on it and you dropped to the divan base below, making for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. I left for work before breakfast so cannot comment on that aspect.

Very quiet when visiting. It would be nice if on arrival the receptionist made eye contact and managed to have a welcoming tone, although this lack seems to be across most hotels I visit these days. The reception is actually in a different building to where the room was; thankfully the weather was dry, but if but had been raining that may have been more of a problem. You can follow the walkway from reception to the rooms, but there is no signage if you drive from the reception car park to a space nearer the bedrooms. The entrance to the building where the bedrooms is unsecured, so anyone walk in, so perhaps this could be looked at. The room appeared clean, although lots of spider webs in the corners and un-vacuumed under the bed; and also hair on the toilet seat. Quiet and peaceful view of a field. The walls are thin though; I could hear the man snoring next door. Breakfast was good, I asked for poached eggs and they were cooked quickly. Very nice building and surroundings, and despite the small things I would probably stay there again. Check out was straightforward.
