Kondalilla Eco Resort

Lovely place, we stayed in a family room. Beds were very comfortable. The only negative thing was that the water pumps sounded a bit from time to time. Very convenient to walk to the national park just next door. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open as we were there (only weekends), it looked lovely. Only one pool was heated as I could see. At our departure day we saw a koala walk by our little house and climb a tree! 🐨😍

Beautiful location and really friendly and welcoming staff. Very quaint and charming cabin. Only disappointing aspect was the jets for the spa bath weren't working. Overall great experience and would return

Amazing stay for our 20th wedding anniversary. We stayed in one of the Spa cabins and it was just lovely. Great facilities with a spa in the cabin, a heated pool and small sauna. The on site restaurant is fabulous and bushwalks right on your door. You really can't ask for more! We loved it so much we are considering going again next year!

Really good getaway to take a break from urban life, with the cabins you really get the feel of serenity and calmness as the big windows/walls in the bedroom constantly remind you of the forest around you. The staff were very accommodating and polite. The location is great for bushwalking as it's right next to the kondalilla track, they have 2 pools (1 heated) and a small suana (was out of service) on offer aswell. my only gripes were: -the area does have spotty reception (probably can't be helped given the location, but make sure you sort anything you need to do over the phone before resting at the cabin or prepare to drive out trying to find reception if you need it), -the road up to the cabin lodges has some nasty pot holes going up. -wasnt a fan that the resorts restaurant specialises in only vegan and seafood options as that isn't really to my taste so we had to drive out for dinner (not a big deal just an inconvenience) Overall it was a great weekend and the cabin and resort was well worth the price for me.

Great location and feeling around the property. Lovely restaurant and friendly staff. Felt the out door furniture (chairs) were a little underwhelming otherwise excellent property. Warning to city folk the general area (montville maleny etc) has very poor cellular service/reception

I really was looking forward to this place, but it was a disappointing stay. The highlight was the surrounds, nature and the sound of the falls through the national park. I booked and paid for a Tree House room with spa, specifically with a spa only to find a sticker above the start button informing customers they have been decommissioned due to the environment. That's fine but then don't advertise something you don't offer. We were unable to use the heated Magnesium pool because a function took up the area, we were told come back at night or use the top pool (not heated). Finally on our last night we looked forward to eating at the restaurant, we had eyed off the menu from our first day and waited 2 days to try. Honestly it was nice but not wow, and when asked how our desert was I reply, "sort of average" which it was, some gussied up Panna Cotta, not set properly, sort of sloppy definitely not to our liking. I was happy to pay and rack it up as just an experience, unfortunately whilst making our payment the manager with the buzz cut said "so the desert was average?" I said yes I've had a few in over 40 years, this just wasn't it. "She then replies well no one else has said so, and I'm 44. Very childish. So if the person who is the face of the restaurant can't take criticism when asking for customer feed back, then that's sad. She was a smart ass and ruined our night, overall the stay was not a great experience and shame.

Fantastic location, very private and intimate, however the track into finding the allocated treehouse is a little hairy, you wouldn’t want to drive it at night. The Treehouse we stayed in had a few cockroaches which wasn’t pleasant. The spa bath was turned off permanently which didn’t align to the advertised treehouse. The king bed was super comfortable but when it rained heavily the tin roof was very noisy and woke us up during the night. We received a complaint that our music was too loud at 6.30 pm at night even though we were a distance away from another treehouse. The on site restaurant was too far to walk to and wasn’t safe enough to drive to given the dodgy track you would have to drive there on. No lights and a water crossing with no reflectors to ensure you don’t drive off the road. Beautiful location but too many negatives, we won’t return to the venue.

The resort is absolutely beautiful. Staff are amazing, the food at the restaurant, outstanding. I will be back. It was disappointing that the spa had been turned off. It was one of the advertised features I was looking forward to. There was no firewood, I can understand this as it has been hot and dry here in Brisbane. A wayward spark and this whole mountain would be alight. (Although the gutters were full of dried leaves and sticks, more of a fire hazard, right beside a fire flue - what I would imagine an exhaustive process keeping them clean in this environment) The roads are in need of repair and are incredibly steep. Definitely not disability friendly. For the fitness minded, you will love it. The national park is next door. The entry to the Koondalillia falls is a steep downward walk. There is a waterhole and a 90m waterfall a few hundred meters in. The roads to the treehouses are soo steep. You would be challenged to run up them 😋 Massages are arranged by an external therapist. If you are looking to have one or two. Best to arrange before you go so you don’t miss out. It is certainly a beautiful, peaceful and tranquil place. I will definitely be back, many times.

We absolutely loved the treehouse views and the wood fireplace. Such a cosy cabin. A shame that the spabath was no longer working, but we still had a fantastic stay. Would definitely recommend this to others.

Absolutely stunning room, photos on the website doesn’t do this place justice! Loved the spa, loved the location, the serenity and how quiet it was. Spotlessly clean with all we needed for a few days of blissful relaxation. Bed was so comfy, we'd love to come back in winter, to enjoy the cosiness of this beautiful property. Staff were lovely!! I don’t think that the restaurant was open,which was ashame as it looked lovely on the deck. Thank you, we loved our stay ❤️

message mobile where u guys communicated and was ignored cause was not happy boit few things , u guys got ya money all was carred for very sad , the room so light , no privacy , the fridge had wster come from it as use rest room slipt over in it but no concern or reply bout that , no tv service was terrible , but i will get no reply or etc for 683 , 2 days omg , and no refund very upswt

Very enjoyable stay overall, friendly staff, great food in the restaurant. Only small issues - the firm alarms in our rooms went off in a few times, which was nothing major, but we had to way to get in touch with reception to alet them, as appears there is no after hours, whilst the phone signal is poor so we had to way to get in touch anyway, Likewise, the wifi signal is also poor in the Family room we stayed in.

Always a beautiful and cosy place to stay. My partner and I have come up for a weekend away a few times and it has consistently been such a relaxing and comfortable experience. Right from check in with the friendly and welcoming staff. A comfy bed, fireplace, and a simple meal cooked on the countertop whilst being surrounded by nature in a private cabin, is a pretty amazing way to reset the soul.

Great location in the rainforest, beautiful family room. The perfect getaway from the city to chill out with the family and be in nature. Staff throughout the resort are very friendly. The restaurant food was very tasty.

From the minute we arrived we felt relaxed. The staff member was so welcome and friendly. Plenty of firewood for our beautiful fire and a lovely cost atmosphere

An absolutely beautiful weekend was spent relaxing at this incredible resort. Between the sound of the waterfall from our cabin to the luscious rainforest surrounding it, you breathe a sigh of relief as soon as you enter. Lisa in reception may be the friendliest receptionist I have ever encountered with a gorgeous twinkle in her eye - she is genuinely happy to see you. We could not have asked for a better experience and cannot wait to come back!

Beautiful place in tranquil surroundings. We enjoyed the piece and the views and the smell of gum trees.

Such a beautiful and quiet location for a great getaway. Not a lot of phone reception but that is what helps you disconnect. Restaurant was delicious and a beautiful environment. Will attend again!

Very nice for a quick weekend away, the lodge was very comfortable. Only a quick trip into Montville or to the local sightseeing areas.
