Well set out and rooms have all one needs. A building behind the main one on the road is very quiet and leads to tennis court and pool in lovely gardens. I would request the lower building when staying again: one can drive (1minute) or walk a steep driveway back to the road.

Stayed here for a night for a girls weekend away. The property is very dated but kind of fits in with the aesthetic of Montville. Having said it was dated, it was still very clean and comfortable and check in was easy and super friendly. Loved the on-site parking and, how we could just walk to anywhere we wanted to go including all the shops and restaurants, cafes. Would recommend this place to others for and comfort. Suitable for families and couples.

Room is very tired. The air conditioner had one fan setting, flat out loud. The deck is in need or repair, timber is failing. Bathroom has mildew everywhere.

The motel was clean and in a convenient location was greeted warmly on arrival and enjoyed our stay the only negative things i can say is the room was located down 2 steep hills wich we found a little inconvenient specially after a few drinks !! Also the pool area lacked a little loving and was also down another steep hill but these are only minor things, the motel was excellent value for money and as i said great location so if your ever in Montville do not hesitate to stay here.

We arrived to a very friendly greeting from a lovely lady. Unfortunately it was raining but we were determined to make the most of our little weekend getaway. As we opened the door and walked in, we both noticed a musty smell in the room. We turned the lights on but it seemed to make no difference. The room was very dark. We enjoyed a drink before dinner at the Montville Bar and Grill conveniently located next door. The food was so good we decided to book a table for the following evening. The staff there were also fantastic. We tried to watch a movie in our room after dinner, but the TV kept dropping out. Our bed was very comfortable and clean. Our shower was hot but hard to keep at the correct temperature. We had a fabulous stay in the area , finding lots to keep us busy. The property is in need of renovation, and some brighter globes. Our cold water tap in the ensuite needed a new washer. Convenient location. Thank you to our lovely hosts.

Our shower was hot but hard to keep at the correct temperature. We had a fabulous stay in the area , finding lots to keep us busy. The property is in need of renovation, and some brighter globes. Our cold water tap in the ensuite needed a new washer. Convenient location. Thank you to our lovely hosts.

Booked in as a staff xmas party was next door. My partner and i love the property amenities and soft comfortable bed. Thanks especially to the manager that helped us with the air conditioner on arrival. Nothing was a problbem, we will be back for a quiet weekend stay soon.

Great hotel situated at the top of the Montville (artisan) town. Room was with Balcony, clean with friendly and helpful staff. There were great views given the town location. The town comes to life in the morning and there is a convenience store for the various items you may need. Local cafes available with stunning views of the countryside.

The staff are very friendly the area is very quiet food is quite restricted to the bar and grill only but breakfast was amazing over the road from the motel .Overall the stay was quite pleasant and relaxing. Good job guys. Thanks for the directions Tanya.
