Fantastic location with great views! Transport links (trams, bus, trains) in close proximity. Supermarket next door which was very handy. Hotel itself was very clean and had all the amenities and facilities you could want. The fitness centre was well equipped, better than most other hotels. Also had a nice rooftop bar. Just fantastic, would definitely go back.

Deres mindste værelser er ikke særlig store, men har hvad du har brug for. Prøv at få med vindue imod kanalen. Vindue imod gården har mindre lys, men også mindre larm. Virkelig god morgenmad. Mange muligheder. Fitness center har 2 løbebånd, 2 ellipse trænere, masser af maskiner til styrke, inkl. benpres, leg curl, bryst. Masser af håndvægte og battle ropes. Jeg fik tilbudt tidlig check-in (kl. 10) og sen check-out kl. 14:00.

Super slow check in process. Not many enough staff at reception. Room wasn’t available not only for us but many others on the day we arrived. Renovation was going on at the hotel. Lights were out many times during the stay. We had to call reception every time the lights were out.

The hotel is a great short walk to centraal station on the river, great staff who are super helpful, the rooms are spacious for Amsterdam, comfortable and have lovely large beds. There is a great 11th floor bar with views of the city and a large restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a great coffee shop, Lot61, on the end of the building. There is an Albert haijh two doors down for supplies and shopping and a short walk to all forms of transport. Be aware of the cost of city tax which you will pay on arrival as well as a security deposit of $100, which mine was returned the same day I checked out so I cannot fault that.

Great location next to the station and very friendly staff. Our first room on the 10th floor had fantastic views but was too noisy from the rooftop bar above. The hotel kindly moved us to a quieter room, though it was a downgrade. Overall still a good stay, but I’d recommend avoiding the top floor if you’re a light sleeper.

The only good thing about this property was its location to Amsterdam Centraal. Heat in our King Deluxe room was not working properly so the hotel provided a small space heater. We did not elect to purchase the buffet breakfast, but when we asked to order from the menu, we were isolated to the bar area away from the other guests. Had to ask for waters and coffee on a daily basis that is normally offered and included with DoubleTree and other Hilton properties. The water spigot in the lobby was empty or out of order for several days, one of the two treadmills in the fitness center was out of order for our entire week's visit. They finally had a sign on it when we returned a week later for our flight out. Short male bartender ignored us when we asked for another round while he flirted. And he kept apologizing that he was too busy to total us out and said one of his coworkers would have to prepare our check, which they never did. When we finally just got up to leave, he quickly presented the check. Needless to say this DoubleTree does not meet the normal DoubleTree standards. Very disappointed. Also no airport shuttle.

The front desk staff was absolutely amazing. The bfast buffet in the morning was delicious I recommend stopping and trying it out if you have time. The room was spacious and felt homely. My only concern was that my husband and I thought we had a small roach in our bed but it turns out it was a BED BUG! I was so upset and unfortunately we did see it until the morning we have to leave. My husband went to the front desk to speak with someone and they didn’t do much to help and it was truly upsetting knowing now we could possibly have an infestation in our clothespin . I can provide a photo if needed.

the hotel is probably getting old. The room was very unclean, the carpet was dirty, there were black stains all over the walls. Hair on the lampshade, hair in the drawers on the desk, old dust on the wardrobe and to make matters worse the shower was moldy in several places. we got another room after 3 hours on the same floor. For a weekend (3 days) the closet is very small and you only have hangers but no storage compartments and 4 small drawers. not much for two people and so you “lived” out of a suitcase. Not acceptable for a four star hotel and certainly not for the Hilton standard. For the nightly rates, there are far better hotels in this category in Amsterdam. the breakfast is very good and the staff very friendly and helpful.

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam and had a very pleasant experience overall. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, always happy to help and creating a relaxed, positive atmosphere. The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained, which made it feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. Its location is excellent — situated by the river and conveniently placed for exploring the city, with many attractions easily accessible on foot or by public transport. The only downside for me was the TV channel selection, which I found a little limited and not particularly impressive. Aside from that minor issue, everything else met or exceeded expectations. Overall, I would happily recommend this hotel for its great service, cleanliness, and ideal location.

Bed bug in my bed. Not much help was given . When we spoke to the front desk. They inspected our room after we left and provided us a report but I was very worried that it might lay its eggs in our belonging and I was so worried to take it back home with us.

Been here before and will definitely stay again. Great check in - lovely balcony room on 10ty floor - magnificent views over Amsterdam. Only drawback - Luminair Bar directly above us and staff were dragging furniture around at 1.30am could hear everything 😡 No housekeeping done the second last day despite asking 3 times - finally had someone change the towels and empty the bins at 7pm - very basic. Also had a terrible smell in the fridge which appeared to be sour milk maybe spilt by the previous guests - not the hotels fault but certainly a thorough clean was needed - previous guests also left a pair of socks on the floor - you would expect the cleaners to see this. Staff were very pleasant and i highly recommend this hotel despite a couple of hiccups!

We enjoyed our stay in DoubleTree near Centraal. The kids loved staying in the bunk beds. The breakfast buffet was top-notch in terms of variety and quality of food options for everyone. Highly recommend! Also staff was professional and on point throughout. The main downside for us was we felt the lighting in the rooms was insufficient, making it feel dreary at times. This was aggravated by us having a room with the window facing inwards to an alley (no natural light either). While this was a downer, it didn't take away from an overall wonderful stay.

The room was clean, the bed was comfy and it had a fridge. You were provided with a kettle, tea, hairdryer, iron, ironing board and safe. But for a fairly newly refurbished room - it seemed behind the times and a poorly designed room, bearing in mind what’s available in much older Hilton Hotels. The TV was in an odd position to be able to watch it in and you couldn’t pair your Netflix account to the TV (channels were limited). Water pressure in shower was really poor, and despite being on the hottest setting, the water would take over 5mins to warm up. The wardrobe wasn’t big enough for two people for a three night stay (the ironing board and iron took up 1/3 of one side of the wardrobe which didn’t help). There was no socket near the mirror for hair appliances. I also keep getting emails about rating the breakfast in the hotel despite not having breakfast included or having breakfast at the hotel.

Hotel is conveniently located next to central station. The rooms are a bit small, but have everything you need. Ask for a room on the lower floors though, as the rooftop bar has thumping music until 2 am on the weekend. A real shame, as otherwise a nice hotel.

Lovely rooms - a bit of noise from outside but I was just above the main entrance where the restaurant is too. But great view! Very clean and well maintained rooms. Sockets have USB-A and USB-C which is great. Lavazza coffee machine in the room plus a kettle. Bathroom amazing!

Pros: close proximity to central station and tourism attractions. Had a good selection for breakfast. Con: thumping noises if you stay at a higher floor since there’s a bar on the top floor. The worst part of our experience was checking-in and getting our luggages stored with the concierge. The front desk staff wasn’t very friendly, and there was no one at the concierge desk at all. Would not stay at this hotel again, the lobby was also very cramped at times and lack organisation.

Our stay was good. The hotel was nice and clean and so was our room. The stay was only for a night since our flight was cancelled. The only things that we didn’t like was the fact that the shower wasn’t working. There was no pressure at all, we had to call maintenance to fix and it still wasn’t working after. Also the room service was absolutely terrible and way too expensive. I got a small pizza and my partner got a spaghetti which tasted like microwaved food. For the taste and the waiting time to get the food (which was 40 mins) it was not worth it. Other than that our stay was good.

This was our second stay at Double Three Central Train Station Amsterdam. The room was very modern and clean, the view from the room fantastic, very walkable location to everything. BUT our coffee machine didn’t work, there are was no shower wash in the shower, the draining was very slow. We tried the restaurant - the salad with grilled veggies was a disaster: huge pile of bulgur and minuscular bits of veggies. Not good.
