The Manor House Inn

Lovely country pub with immaculate rooms, the food was lovely and the staff were great too! Look forward to finding a reason to staying there again!

I don't really know how to start this review, the service and experience we had at the Manor House Inn was beyond anything I could have expected. They made a special day into something absolutely unforgettable. We stayed at the pub on Monday, and I had booked a room to stay after proposing to my girlfriend. I had asked the hotel before arriving if it would be possible to arrange some sparkling wine to be in the room before arriving, which they said they could help with. When we arrived we were taken to a beautiful room with a bath. I was later told this was a complimentary upgrade and that the sparkling wine was also complimentary and they wouldn't let me pay for it. The generosity to help make our day more special was beyond anything I could have asked for. We had dinner downstairs that night and Jane who had helped with the checking in and helped get us seated for dinner was amazing, even went and got a candle for our table to make it a bit more romantic. Every member of staff went above and beyond and they were all so warm and friendly. Food and drink was incredible, really great quality and tasted amazing. They even brought over a little chocolate tart for us to share with strawberries in a heart shape on top. The bed and room were really comfortable, the bedding and towels were soft and high quality, the bed was huge and comfortable. Just a lovely vibe throughout the whole establishment. They have take time to add all the small touches that makes you stay enjoyable. The staff 100% amazing too Choose to eat out in the garden amazing food with chilled kiwi Sauvignon on warm summer’s evening just perfect Will be back at some point 100%

Beautiful place to stay with really comfy rooms, quality bathroom fittings and an excellent breakfast. Really nice extras like cookies & cold milk on arrival, earplugs and a little toiletries bag. A great night's sleep was had in the very comfy bed. A great choice of tea and coffee in the rooms, with water bottles, a fan (needed this week) and radio alarm. A very quiet spot and a beautiful small village. Breakfast was the real star, properly fresh fruit, fresh croissants, turmeric & ginger shots, freshly squeezed orange and local apple juice. We had the vegan breaky, which was fabulous and the French toast...yum!! Even the tea pot was fully filled a second time. Would definitely stay again.
