Studio was very comfortable, spacious & quiet if back ones.Easy walk to Plaza, city centre & Riverside restaurants & park area. Facilities in the apartment block were not maintained. The gym equipment- weight machines were rusty beyond repair & of course didn’t work. The treadmill & epilator were the only working equipment. The spa wasn’t heated & also didn’t work. Other than those we had an enjoyable stay.

The apartment 302 in this property was large and satisfactorily resourced except for cooking utensils. The car parking for this accommodation block is diabolical due to two large waste disposal units stationed in front of two out of four available spaces. The parking is also at the back of the building at ground level and you need to access the building via a flight of 8-10 steps carrying your luggage and any other equipment you need in your apartment for your stay. It is totally unsatisfactory for anyone who is elderly or physically impaired. There is access for wheelchair users at the front of the property but not near the parking bays. This is not a luxury property as advertised.

Lovely place, staff and cleanliness were great. Pool and gym equipment were a pleasant surprise. Common areas were a little tired. The parking did put a smile on my face. It is there but I would suggest definitely at a first in best dressed premium!

The location is ok but there isn’t much around, the carpark is extremely tight and after driving 800kms in one day the last thing you need is to park your car in an extremely tight spot. Maybe just bad luck but given the lowest floor room facing the carpark with the fire exit practically on your balcony and anyone using the gym or pool is able to see you. Won’t be staying again. There are better places around at similar prices.

Our stay was in the 1 bedroom penthouse and the room was in excellent condition and looked very new still and facilities available in the room was excellent. The onsite parking was not very good and or easy to understand with the access not easy to find when checking in after hours. Onsite parking also limited, overall the stay was enjoyable and the after hours staff was very helpful and friendly.

Good size for a studio apartment. Clean and nicely decorated. Good bathroom. Pool spa didn’t work, the gym had very old equipment and there weren’t any towels there as advised. The lady reception staff member was excellent.

The booking site let us book for 3 people but when we got to the room there was no extra bed made up. They told us that we shouldn't have been able to book for 3. Bed was ok slightly hard. Expected the pool to be warm as it is an indoor pool. It is not. If you like ice baths, its for you. Cooking facilities are good.

Spacious room but average impression. It had a kitchen, equipped with gas stove top, full size fridge, microwave , plates and cutlery, but no dishwasher, so you will have to wash what you use. The bathroom was clean and roomy, but no bath. I didn’t use the wardrobe, as it was rather hard to open and I found it an inconvenience and too much effort to open and close. The dining table was rather sticky and well worn, needs to be replaced. The bottom of 5he walls looked like the paint had bubbled due to either water damage or dampness. The floor tiles were very sticky to walk on.

It's a huge apartment and the rooms are nicely appointed. The bed was a king and very comfortable. Check-in was confusing as the carpark door does not open and you have to drive around a back street and enter there. That wasn't obvious on the text sent as the street we were on first and the back entry street have similar names. I am wondering about the standard of cleaning. There is a set of steps, internal, which takes you to the 5th floor from the 4th floor apartment we had. It hasn't been dusted for weeks. Very obvious in the morning sun. The shower knob just fell off in our hands and the washing machine has a smashed front door which also doesn't close well. The floors had marks on them of being cleaned but not with appropriate products. The shower was slippery and I went for a skid. The bar stools were dusty. It looks as though it could be fabulous but some effort is needed in maintenance and cleaning.

We had a studio at the rear which, unfortunately, had a bank of air conditioners next to it so was a bit noisy when sitting out on the balcony. Studio was large and well appointed and would easily suit if you are there for an extended period. One or two restaurants nearby but most over a kilometre away. Good value for money with off street parking.

Spa Bath was brilliant, bubbly, hot and plenty of room for 2 for couples. Temprature control of the AC was perfect, never cold or hot, just the right temperature. Blockout curtains do an amazing job of keeping the sun out for those who aren't early birds. Highly recommend this place!

The surface of the dining room table was not very good. The surface was sticky, as if the surface had gone off and the glue was coming through. Did not clean up. Also the WIFI was terrible, I missed 2 nights of my favourite shows as I couldn't connect to streaming services. The room was quiet though and the bed very comfy.

The room was super clean and very well appointed. Full size fridge, cooktop, microwave and all the dishes and pots and pans you will need. Very comfortable bed. Property itself is kept in very good condition. Front desk has limited hours for check in, so make sure you call ahead.

I've stayed here many times but my last stay I wasn't the easiest guest. I arrived 2 hours before check in, without warning and with groceries. I then had to been at an appointment at check in time, so I had to leave again without checking in. Hours later it looked like I wouldn't be back until after the front desk closed. The staff rolled with all of this. They took my groceries, put them in a fridge, then put them in the fridge in my room once it was ready. They also organised after hours key access for me with a 30 second phone call and no drama at all. I thought I would be leaving later the next day, so they agreed to let me leave me car in their carpark all day after I checked out. Then halfway through the next day I decided I needed to stay an extra day so with a quick phone call I was booked into the same room again, still with no fuss. The staff in this hotel are simply brilliant and a big shout out to Sinead who went above and beyond and was also far more patient than anyone should have to be.

i had been in communications with Tammea from CBD apartments discussing the possibility and request for a refund as circumstances had changed last minute and accom was no longer needed. she said i needed to go through Wotif. As we were returning to our hometown, I went onto wotif website to commence refund as advised from CBD, and wotif website stated that a total cost of stay was not able to be refunded as per CBD policy. I was disappointed that Tammea did not advise this when I was in communications, and that wotif wasn't able to assist with a refund. this resulted in a total loss and a dissatisfied customer.

Bliss Cafe was awesome! Staff at Bliss and front desk were great! Great customer service. Housekeeping staff could have been more attentive but did what was asked of them.(I was there 11 days) Excellent stay, will stay again when I’m in Rockhamptom.

I enjoy staying at this accommodation, it was quiet, the bed was comfortable and it was walkable to restaurants which made dinner easy. There is also a cafe downstairs which was also convenient. Parking is covered which is great. My only negatives are that I wasn’t provided with hand soap in the bathroom and there was no shower door resulting in the floor getting quite slippery after using the shower.
