Apart from the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night, it is a great place to stay for a night before an early flight. It’s a shame the complimentary airport transfer has been discontinued as this is the reason we had picked this place to stay having used this service in the past.

Room was clean, well presented and reasonable spacious. Accessing the room after hours was easy. Parking isn’t great if you have a 4WD and bulbar. We arrived late to one small spot available in a back corner that wasn’t accessible for vehicle. In future I’ll be asking for a spot to be reserved for us, esp when we’ve had to drive 6 hrs to catch an early morning next day flight.

Close to the airport and the Racecourse Road precinct. On site parking is limited to about 12 spaces but we always got a park. Suited our needs for getting to the places where we were to visit. Room was small, shower recess is also small in size. The room was cleaned daily. No microwave limited our breakfast option. Overall, would stay there again.

Mold in shower on walls, but great shower pressure. Larger people may struggle to fit in the shower as it’s tiny! Looked on the photos like it was 2 bedrooms, but it’s actually 2 rooms. Twin in one room and then main bed in where the kitchen is. Toilet access is off the main room so woke whenever they used it. Not a bad location for our cruise, but will look elsewhere next time for something a little more fresh

The location was excellent! You can go to Eat Street Northshore or Portside Wharf on foot. The water pressure of the shower was very comfortable. The room smelled a bit moldy because it rained for 10 days in Brisbane. One confusing thing is lots of Uber drivers get the wrong about its address. They drop you off / pick you up at “Asraport Motel”, which is located just next to Airport Ascot Motel. I was so upset because I couldn’t open the safe box in which my card key was supposed to be in it. That was because I was dropped off at the wrong hotel!

There was a strong smell of vomit in the room - we raised the issue with management and no remedy was forthcoming - we trusted the Wotif rating system (the property was rated highly) but were very disappointed

Last night in Brisbane was really gross. Upon 1st look it was nice. Fast forward an hour and we discover A) the bathroom door doesn't stay closed. B) there is no soap to wash dishes despite a sign telling us to wash the dishes. C) the dishes were already dirty! ew! D) the sheets didn't fit the bed! From knee down we were on bare mattress! Ew! mattresses never get washed, especially at hotels. Super gross. We slept on top the covers and uses jackets and towels as blankets. Hardly slept and shivered all night. E) We ended up not having breakfast because we couldn't clean the already dirty dishes. We left as fast as we could! Last night when we discovered the bare mattress we nearly checked out. Unfortunately there was no other hotel nearby to stay in that we could check in to. All the receptions were closed. Trust me if we could have left last night, we would have.

The room was tiny, shower was the smallest I have ever been in. The room had a rancid smell (apparently the new carpet). There was no dining or even eating facilities nearby. My room overlooked the main road, so even opening the windows to try and get rid of the smell was fraught with issues (noise, road smell, vehicle exhaust etc.). All in all an unpleasant stay and I wont be back.

Room 201 fridge was so noisy all night had to unplug it. Shower was tiny, mouldy and then went freezing cold half way through shower. Bed very firm. Would not stay again.

The bed was comfy and the aircon was good and quiet but the room was right on the road front so not much sleep. Why they wouldn't put double glazing in is beyond me! Also the noise from the room above is like they're in the same room, I think it was a balcony. Friendly staff though.

Room was clean and tidy but Shower Door fell off as my wife attempted to have a shower. Recovery was good as the room next door was not occupied so we were allowed to move next door. These things happen I guess, but this could have ended badly had I not been there to rescue my wife.

We had a double room and it was clean and spacious. Only thing that was not great was the lights in all rooms flickered when they were on which could be attributed to the storms that were happening in Brisbane but it was also happening when the storm had passed. There was also no privacy lock on the bathroom door. Other than that, the parking was good and although reception wasn’t open for the time we checked in and out (due to catching flights) the check-in process was good. Would stay here again as it’s close to Eat Street and the airport.

Perdect to say overnight if arriving late into Brisbane airport. Checkin instructions were provided if there was no reception staff available. No issues to gain access. The only issue was the shower head which did not provide the best shower experience. Will certainly consider again.

The Motel listing did not match the actual motel. The room was made up but was not clean. The reception office had no one attending. To enter you had to call a phone number. The manager directed me to a safe outside the building and told me the code. I opened the safe to find my room pass in an envelope. The safe also had all the other guest room passes in there. . I could have taken any one of them. As could anyone else There was no staff in attendance and zero security. As a solo traveler I felt very unsafe here. I went to my room and five minutes later I left and checked into another hotel. I asked for a refund and was ignored. I highly recommend you don't stay here. Avoid it at all cost. Very disappointing. Still waiting for my refund which I'm sure I will never get.

Did not see a single person on site. Arrived at property around 6pm and there was no one at the reception even though the signs stated that it was open until 9pm. There was nobody there and the gates were down. They did NOT contact us to let us know how to check in via the safe. Luckily another guest checking in 15 minutes after we arrived and opened the safe for us. Later, after we went out for dinner there was STILL no one at reception. The floor we were staying on had a balcony that let ppl smoke outside, but it left a terrible cigarette smell throughout the hallway on that floor, it was better inside the room but we could still smell smoke. The room itself was surprisingly pretty clean. But I would say the lack of service was very disappointing.

With Cyclone Alfred due to impact Brisbane and close Airport I canceled reservation at Airport Ascot Motel since we were scheduled to fly out of Brisbane. I canceled more than 24 hours in advance of check-in. Ascot Motel's Management refused repeated appeals by Hotel.com to not charge for rooms due to Cyclone Alfred's impending impact. That is very poor Customer Service.

The staff here were very kind and went above and beyond to help me. They had the room done early and really helped us out by holding our luggage for us while we explored. Uber and taxis are really easy to get from here to the city or cruise terminal or the airport. I would highly recommend and i will be coming back to stay here when im next in brisbane.

Great place to stay if you need to be close to the airport. The hotel is located in a nice upscale neighborhood, and is within 5 min of an embankment and a street full of restaurants. Hotel is nice, quiet, and clean

Airport Ascot is perfect for an overnight stay. Easily accessible, clean and tidy, close to the Eat Street Markets the Airport and not too far from the city. You could walk to the City Cat and take a trip up and down the river.
