Pool not working, had to ask for blankets and towels even though our reservation was for 4 adults, only towels for 2. Then when asked for blanket we were told to turn down the air conditioner, which was not on.

We really liked this easily accessible motel. The well kept grounds and exterior had many thoughtful features. The parking spaces were wide. Sheltered gathering spaces had grills and comfy chairs. Inclined walks led to handicapped rooms. The room was clean and had two places to sit.

The hotel was okay. We were in the back of the hotel. It was quiet. We only spent one night as we were just passing through. But it was clean. There isn't much around as far as shopping or eating and the pool is closed for maintenance. From what we were told by a couple from the area...it's been closed for a couple of years.

The room was filthy, the shower had black mold so we were unable to use it, no blankets on the bed just a sheet. It felt unsafe being in the last room in the second building sharing the parking lot with overnight trucker parking.

Upon checking the room, there was food left in the refridgerator from previous guest, used washcloth hanging on shower curtain rod and a used bar of soap in the bathtub. Made us wonder if the linens on the bed had been changed!

The property was neat and well maintained. The room was clean and tidy. The lighting in the room could have been better. The direct TV did not work well. The TV itself was quite dated. We stayed two nights, the pass card was issued for 1 night, so had to refresh the card so it worked for the 2nd night.

Unfortunately the location is near an area truckers use, so there was constantly engine noise. The door was not tight, thus allowing even more sound to penetrate. Other than that, it was fine.

We forwarded a message to the property that we would be coming in on 10:00 flight to PGD. They still called to ask if we were coming. ? (Check your email!) Also, room was way overpriced for a basic 1970’s motel room. The light pollution was awful - need to address drapery issues. Gentleman checking us in was pleasant. FYI No one attends the desk after 11pm so if you’re on that late flight and coming in late, this Mom & Pop may not be available when you arrive.

Old fashioned motel layout, great parking, easy access and close to Punta Gorda airport. Clean and comfy beds. Bathroom was clean. TV worked great. Free WiFi. Very good value for an overnight stay.

The room maid was terrible forgot to leave coffee and towels skipped cleaning the room do not disturb sign was out 9am and she never came back the fire alarm went off and desk could not advise what was happening we had no hot water one day front desk needs some training

Manager was rude and unforgiving. Other renters had their dogs in their room so i thought it was ok. As soon as i put them in the room she ran down demanded i leave. I apologized and was letting her know i didnt know and that i will put then in the dogbox. She was rude and demanded i leave. Tried to not refund me even though i was there for 20 minutes, gave me back half a refund with a nasty attitude. Spend the extra 4p and go across the street

Small clean hotel. Ok front desk service until, after booking online for a 2 night stay, i had an emergency and needed to leave early 11:30 am the following day. After talking to the front desk, they said i had to pay because i booked and something would happen with their commission if i received a refund. But, they did say i was welcome to stay!! Not somewhere i would stay again!

This place is older construction, but very well maintained & clean. Good value for the money. We were visiting family in the area & just needed a place to sleep & shower. The grounds are clean & festive. The area is safe. Close to some fast food, freeways, & gas stations. Very close to Punta Gorda airport.

This hotel is not in the best part of the city. It is old and run down. It is an old motel. Our room was way in the back away from the office and it certainly was not full. Would not recommend it to anyone.

I'm giving this hotel five stars because of the pride the owner of the hotel takes in her establishment. The hotel was comfortable clean and especially I loved the outdoor seating areas with plants which was a special touch to most hotels in this price range. It was across the street from a convenience store and gas station which was walking distance to grab a few things for breakfast the next morning
