Our stay at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Punta Gorda was absolutely peaceful, and the staff was so pleasant. We came from Miami for a weekend getaway and were not disappointed. Check-in was smooth, and we were even able to check in early. The room was exactly as pictured — very clean with tasteful aesthetics. For dinner, the front desk recommended TT's Tiki Bar, which was within walking distance. It was the perfect suggestion! Breakfast on our first morning was phenomenal, with plenty of delicious options. We spent the day at Gasparilla Island (about 45 minutes away), and when we returned, my daughter enjoyed the pool while I relaxed by the water — we had the pool completely to ourselves. On our last morning, Labor Day, breakfast was even better with an even wider variety to choose from. Although room service is scheduled every two days, we only asked for trash removal and fresh towels after 24 hours. To our surprise, the staff went above and beyond by refreshing our entire room. Parking was ample and right in front of the hotel. Every part of this stay exceeded our expectations, and I would definitely stay here again if we return to Punta Gorda or the surrounding area.

The staff at this hotel was excellent and very friendly, from the cleaning staff to front desk to the lady who sets up breakfast. I was only their for one night and they all felt like family and I was sad to leave. The hotel was super clean, you would have never known it was 4 years old. Amenities from an awesome breakfast, bar at the hotel, pool, free water bottles, laundry detergent, sanitizing wipes and ear plugs in the room along with Aveda products! I wish all hotels was this nice and really cares about their customers. Location is perfect walking distance to many restaurants.

We stayed for 11 nights -the staff was excellent . Breakfast/coffee every morning was very good. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was great for our stay. Bed was comfortable and shower was excellent. Fitness room was awesome! New equipment and water/towels supplied there. Pool area was walled to block the wind which was great on the cooler days. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel was fantastic! The staff was eager to help. The beds were cozy as can be . The rooms were clean well stocked and had Keurigs ! The pool even had pool toys for the kids. The breakfast was good for a free buffet . I had the biscuits and gravy and a blueberry bagel.

Great hotel with lots of walkable dining and shopping nearby. Nice pool, gym, breakfast, and evening bar. The parking was terrible, however. You had to get a spot by early evening, or try to find a spot on the street or use the valet. The valet used the same parking lot, so several spots that could have been used by guests were roped off and you were charged $10 for someone to park your car 30’ away.

Amazingly clean and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We were on night 14 of travel to multiple hotels and this one was our favorite. The shower was the best and the pillows were very comfortable. The bacon breakfast was the best ever.

Room was crisp and clean. Comfortable. Staff were very helpful and nice. Unfortunately my room was on the street side and it sounds like a nascar track at time during the night. They do leave earplugs at the bedside to help, so clearly management knows this could disrupt sleep. So I still give high ratings because you can’t blame the facility for the traffic. They clearly try to mitigate the issue as best as they can.

The problem of this hôtel is the noise of the road to the bridge situated just near the room. We can sleep only from midnight to 4 Oclock AM otherwise the noise is terrible. I choose a room with view to the port which was not a good choice. We have not been informed about the noise prior to choose the room.

We paid extra for a "harborview" room. Be aware that it means you get to look at the parking lot on the harbor side of the hotel and that the view is very limited. Also the advertised free wifi does not include internet. That\'s another $10 per day. The hotel is in a good location, with lots of restaurants within walking distance, but with the price I paid, I expected more.

Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Very close to PGD airport with a super easy drive. The self parking was free and very safe, there was a valet sitting right in front of the parking lot most of the night. The staff were friendly and Liz gave me a free extra 30 minute late check out since my flight was at a weird time. Comfortable beds, a good sized room, an acutal walk in closet. Also one of the best hotel showers, the water pressure amazing, the toiletries very nice, and the shower was actually clean.... they seem to understand how bleach works here unlike the other large hotel brand that always has shower cleaning problems. Coffee and tea were available late at night. Breakfast was just a typical hotel self serve but it was easy and had a very plentiful and nice selection of items. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very limited parking, front desk said just park on the street. Where? Reply, i don't know. Obnoxious check in process.. rude. Housekeeping threw a ton of chemicals on the carpets in the hallway and proceeded to vacuum in front of our room early in the morning before 8 am! They did this on two mornings. Staff shouted at each other and threw dishes around loudly..disturbing multiple guests. The staff is extremely u professional.

My wife and I needed a place to stay for our early flight out of Punta Gorda. The place is great. It is right by the harbor, there is a tiki bar with live music. There is another hotel across the street with a rooftop bar. The airport is about 10 minutes away.
