Everything about our stay was exceptional. The rooms are super spacious, the staff are wonderful, helpful, accommodating, great at their work. The amenities are great with a number of restaurants available, a day spa with great options, a sauna and steam room facility, indoor outdoor pool options with a beach a few metres away and short walking distance to the old town and a number of other facilities. However, the hotel has everything, you dont even need to leave the residence. The hotel has a modern look but its all around vibe is super relaxed and quiet which is exactly what we wanted and it was exactly the 'retreat' type stay advertised. Would highly recommend.

Overall it was a great stay. From the time we arrived, the service was great. Check in was easy and efficient. Our room was ready before we arrived, so no waiting time. Full valet service with free parking, which is not the norm in other hotels. The room was nice and spacious. Had everything we required, and was topped up throughout the day. Food was great at all the restaurants and value for money. Enjoyed the beach, indoor pool and spa facilities. The only request i would make, is that they remove the carpets from the elevators.

Dejligt hotel, men hvordan kan et 5-stjernet hotel kun have en fælles pool som deles med andre hoteller samtidig med at den også er åben for offentligheden? Dette ender naturligvis op i fuld kaos ved poolen med masser af børn, badedyr og larm. Derudover er det vigtigt at vide, at “den private” strand er for offentligheden. Man kan ligge lidt mere privat med mod betaling. Hotellet fungerer ellers rigtig fint.

Modern hotel with great facilities albeit has a shared outdoor pool with hotel Eden thus very crowded and lots of kids. However the end platform section by the sea has great sunbeds and can be used by Hotel Lone guests for free.

comme toujours depuis que nous fréquentons cet hotel design nous lui attribuons la meilleure note ! situé en bord de mer dans un parc séculaire, il offre un excellent buffet pour les repas (déjeuner, dîner..)et un restaurant japonais permet de varier le menu. L'installation bien être (saunas piscine hydrothérapie)est à citer en exemple. Le personnel est toujours disposé à subvenir aux besoins de la clientèle .Tout est fort propre.Nous reviendrons.

Wir haben das Zimmer mit dem Pludge-Pool am Balkon gebucht. Das Ist auf jeden Fall ein Highlight. Das Frühstück ist sehr vielfältig und qualitativ hochwertig, allerdings ab 8 Uhr sehr überlaufen. Der Platz am Buffet sowie die Gangflächen sind leider zu gering bemessen für ein entspanntes Frühstück. Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit top. Die zeitlos moderne Architektur hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Hotel ist definitiv zu empfehlen.

I love Lone, this is our 2nd time there and we love everything about the people and location of the hotel. Sadly this year my room was not cleaned nearly quarter as good as last year. Will give it another try next year … I just got unlucky with the cleaning people on my floor

Ein unglaublich schöner Ort für einen entspannten und erholsamen Urlaub....das Grand Zimmer einfach traumhaft...sehr gutes vielfältiges Frühstück....sehr freundliche aufmerksame und adrette Mitarbeiter im ganzen Haus...alles sehr sauber und gepflegt....nächstes Jahr gerne wieder....Preis-Leistung passt.......

Zimmer war sehr schön, jedoch nicht perfekt sauber. Roomservice war gut, hatten aber schon für weniger Geld besseren Roomservice. Frühstück war sehr gut, jedoch hat auch hier der Service nicht begeistert. Während 6 Frühstücken wurden wir nicht einmal nach einem Kaffee gefragt, sondern mussten jedes Mal eigenständig Kellner suchen. An sich nicht schlimm, jedoch kein exzellenter Service. Die Lage des Hotels ist genial. Strand ist in Laufentfernung, genauso wie eine Vielzahl unterschiedlicher Restaurants in Rovinj.

Fantastic hotel, really unusual in style, very retro. Staff were all so very helpful throughout our stay. It was our silver wedding anniversary and they put champagne and truffles in the room. Amazing gardens and woods surrounding the whole area. Very picturesque

Hotel is huge (260 rooms?). Lots of rooms, corridors, lobby area, 3 restaurants. Desk clerk not esp. friendly at checkin. Bellboy (Phillip) was good and helpful. Used valet parking. Room is quite large and seems comfortable. Lighting doesn't reach desk area. Had our free buffet dinner. Good spread, lots of good deserts. Valet parking. 5* hotel of the modern mega-scale variety. Room large. Bathroom large. Breakfast buffet good but very busy- lots of guests, and lots of young children. Would definitely stay here again - price very reasonable for what you get.

Hotel Lone is a lovely hotel set in a beautiful garden by the sea - about 20 minutes flat walk from the centre of Rovinj. It’s not cheap but this hotel makes you feel special. The rooms are really well appointed and the balconies are private. The staff are friendly and attentive. Maistra - the company that owns Hotel Lone - also owns the Monte Mulini hotel next door and the Grand Park nearer to Rovinj. All great hotels if you can afford them

La struttura è molto accogliente, imponente, molto curate le parti comuni. Deludenti gli arredi del ristorante: i tavoli da mensa. Ottima colazione, discreto il buffet del ristorante. The rooms were beautiful and modern including the bathrooms. Including offsite free self parking Great pool area and access to the water and the boardwalk to old town. It’s a 20 min walk to old town. Would definitely stay here again.

Dejlige rummelige værelser, god seng og stort badeværelse både med stor bruser og badekar. Fin morgenmad med stort udvalg, dog kan der i perioder være rigtig mange mennesker og lidt kaos. Fint pool område. Ligger rigtig godt i forhold til en gåtur i det nærliggende grønne område. Der er ca. 25 min gang via en skøn promenade til den indre by. ROVINJ er en fuldstændig skøn by, med mange hyggelige gader og restauranter og til rimelige priser.

Hotel is huge (260 rooms?). Lots of rooms, corridors, lobby area, 3 restaurants. Desk clerk not esp. friendly at checkin. Bellboy (Phillip) was good and helpful. Used valet parking. Room is quite large and seems comfortable. Lighting doesn't reach desk area. Had our free buffet dinner. Good spread, lots of good deserts. Valet parking. 5* hotel of the modern mega-scale variety. Room large. Bathroom large. Breakfast buffet good but very busy- lots of guests, and lots of young children. Would definitely stay here again - price very reasonable for what you get.

Zimmer war sehr schön, jedoch nicht perfekt sauber. Roomservice war gut, hatten aber schon für weniger Geld besseren Roomservice. Frühstück war sehr gut, jedoch hat auch hier der Service nicht begeistert. Während 6 Frühstücken wurden wir nicht einmal nach einem Kaffee gefragt, sondern mussten jedes Mal eigenständig Kellner suchen. An sich nicht schlimm, jedoch kein exzellenter Service. Die Lage des Hotels ist genial. Strand ist in Laufentfernung, genauso wie eine Vielzahl unterschiedlicher Restaurants in Rovinj.

Amazing stay at the Lone, it’s a nice 10 min walk into Rovinj. We didn’t use the pool but used the beach part where you can stay on comfy lounge beds. Breakfast has a huge variety. The hotel is a little bit stale and lacking in atmosphere, it feels a bit museum esq however we would return again. We dined at Agli Amici at the partnering grand Park hotel and that was another level!!

The rooms were beautiful and modern including the bathrooms. Including offsite free self parking Great pool area and access to the water and the boardwalk to old town. It’s a 20 min walk to old town. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is right at the side of the beach and a beautiful nature reserve. Plus a 20 minute walk along a lovely promenade into the old town. Staff are brilliant and there’s a feeling of luxury and relaxation.

Wir haben das Zimmer mit dem Pludge-Pool am Balkon gebucht. Das Ist auf jeden Fall ein Highlight. Das Frühstück ist sehr vielfältig und qualitativ hochwertig, allerdings ab 8 Uhr sehr überlaufen. Der Platz am Buffet sowie die Gangflächen sind leider zu gering bemessen für ein entspanntes Frühstück. Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit top. Die zeitlos moderne Architektur hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Hotel ist definitiv zu empfehlen.

Overall it was a great stay. From the time we arrived, the service was great. Check in was easy and efficient. Our room was ready before we arrived, so no waiting time. Full valet service with free parking, which is not the norm in other hotels. The room was nice and spacious. Had everything we required, and was topped up throughout the day. Food was great at all the restaurants and value for money. Enjoyed the beach, indoor pool and spa facilities. The only request i would make, is that they remove the carpets from the elevators.

comme toujours depuis que nous fréquentons cet hotel design nous lui attribuons la meilleure note ! situé en bord de mer dans un parc séculaire, il offre un excellent buffet pour les repas (déjeuner, dîner..)et un restaurant japonais permet de varier le menu. L'installation bien être (saunas piscine hydrothérapie)est à citer en exemple. Le personnel est toujours disposé à subvenir aux besoins de la clientèle .Tout est fort propre.Nous reviendrons.

My 3rd trip here. It’s always been fabulous and I think always will be. Apparently a bit of a refurb due in Oct 26 but I’m not sure what they’ll be improving as it’s top notch already. Father in law very much enjoyed the free bubbles at breakfast!

Impressed how well this hotel has been maintained over the years. I stayed there last about 9 years ago and it still looks great. The Mulini beach and adjacent beach bar are perfect for a relaxing day at the crystal clear sea.
