Convenient walk to the Bob Devaney sports center. Restaurant/bar/coffee shop. The stay was wonderful, however wasn't expecting a parking fee....we're already paying for a room and enjoying coffe, drinks there etc which we pay for. Seems if a parking fee is needed maybe $10 would be plenty.

The hotel website says the bar is open until 11, serving food until 10. We arrived at 9:30 and were laughed at when we asked to order food. The kitchen was closed and had been. Then, when ordering drinks, we were told that the bar was closed but we could hurry and get one drink. This was over an hour earlier than advertised. The hotel is lovely, but this is the second time we’ve been unable to eat or drink.

Comfortable, quiet rooms. Fun/classy rooftop bar. The staff is excellent, and the complimentary shuttle to downtown or other areas within a 3 mile radius is great! Very nice, well managed hotel.

Room makes weird noises and has a lot of flashing lights. Very hard to sleep in. Charged my credit card multiple times and didn’t change it after complaining. Also they said they have EV charger but they don’t. They poont you to an old EV charger a few blocks away that doesn’t even support NACS.

We spent time in the Well and Good restaurant and the rooftop bar, as well as our hotel room, and all three spaces were wonderful! The staff were very kind and seemed to enjoy doing their jobs. I'll definitely stay here again!

Trendy hotel with amenities like a gym, bar/restaurant & coffee shop. Only giving 4 stars because it's really expensive for Lincoln, especially in light of its location away from downtown. The $20 self-park charge is massively out of touch with local prices (and makes no sense given the huge amount of parking available).

It says there is an EV charger onsite, there is not. It is next door and you can only charge for a few hours before it charges you over 20 dollars an hour, and there is no overnight parking. Also there is a 75 dollar pet fee they do not advertise and “get you with” when you check in. Cost is overpriced for what they offer.

Room was very nice and clean. Bed was super comfy. Hotel was quiet and honestly we expected a little noise from all the Husker fans at the hotel (us being part of those fans). Bathroom was huge and the shower was instantly hot. Self parking was super easy. Hotel lobby was decorated with vintage Husker gear and memorabilia. Lots of areas to sit. We got coffee and pastries at the The Good Life the morning we left. Prices were very good and coffee/pastries were yummy. We would definitely stay here again!

Most of the furniture, rugs, and bedding is damaged and stained up. The bathroom in our room was disgusting. We let the host know and asked to have the room cleaned. When we returned to the room, it was still dirty and they didnt even change the bedding that was stained. You have to leave the hotel to get food for every meal as they have very limited options. The ratings were so good and I am not sure why. For a 2 year old hotel I was expecting so much more. Very disappointing.

This hotel is super clean and the staff were all friendly and attentive. The restaurants and coffee shop in the hotel are incredible. Our room was spotless, the bed was comfortable & the blackout curtains were nice so we could sleep in a bit for once. The room was also very cool which, as hot sleepers, is a major bonus! I will say, the wifi was pretty awful and unfortunately I had to pay for better wifi to be able to join Zoom meetings or even just browse the internet for things to do. So, if you are coming here for work or school be prepared to pay $$$. I also found it strange that housekeeping didn't come and take care of our room. One specific day we were out of the room before 9, came back in the evening, & the room was untouched. Overall, this is a really nice place to stay and a short drive from anything you could want to do in Lincoln.

First time we stayed at this hotel. Good location for where we needed to go; walkable. Hotel is pet friendly, which is great. Unfortunately our room had dog hair on the floors & rugs. I have allergies & were not told our room was pet friendly. Even if a dog was there, it should have been vacuumed better.

We had an amazing stay at The Scarlet!! Spotless rooms with high quality mattresses, pillows, and linens! The restaurant and bars had excellent food and drinks served by the best staff! This will be our go to when we come to Lincoln!

This property does not have an electric car charger, as stated in their profile (and their website and google). There is a charger half a mile away that is in no way affiliated with the hotel. You also can’t park and charge overnight because the station starts chafing $20 an hour after 11, so it would be $160 to leave your car there overnight. You also have to pay 20$ a day to park…which is absurd in Lincoln Nebraska. You can park on the street, but unless it’s Sunday, that also is expensive. The shower is not graded correctly and flooded the bathroom and hall while my husband showered, getting our things soaked. While the actual hotel is fine, they lied on their post about EV charging, they charge a wild amount for parking (especially for a town in the Midwest), and they have terrible water run-off in the showers. Do not recommend.

This bed is comfortable. It is not saggy or rock hard. And the sheets are… well, i actually got the brand info so i can buy some. Extremely safe area. Extremely clean hotel. So glad we drove later just to reach this hotel. Wonderful stay.

The Scarlet was clean, comfortable, and convenient. I was there on business and the customer's office was literally next door. This turned out to be really important because there was a big winter storm that pushed temperatures to 10 below while I was there and it was nice to just walk about 60 yards to my customer's office as opposed to needing to drive in those conditions. The hotel staff is warm and inviting. They have a nice restaurant and bar on site that serves really good meals. There is also a coffee shop that serves breakfast items and snacks throughout the day. The room rate was very reasonable. The only quibble I have with the guest rooms is that the lighting is dim which makes the rooms feel generally dark. This is not unique to this hotel as I am seeing it as a trend. Hotels have removed the ceiling lights and have installed a series of lamps instead. Even with turning all the lamps on, there are still dark areas in the room. Regardless, I will stay here again and have no problem recommending the hotel to others.

Great quiet location away from the activity of the Haymarket. The property was noisy in the corridors especially of the 6th floor. Shower head and pillows were old and due for an upgrade. Generally a nice option and will probably return.

I just want to give a huge thanks to front desk supervisor, Zakiyyah. We ran into a family medical issue, resulting in cancellation of our trip. Zakiyyah went above an beyond to make sure that we were taken care of and reached out to see if there was anything else that The Scarlet Hotel could do for us regarding our current situation and our future stays. Looking forward to rebooking in the near future!

The staff here will charge you for things you didn’t even buy or want. The staff charged me an extra night totaling $142.67. I checked out at 9 AM that morning. Why would I need a second night? I paid for parking which was supposed to be $20 for self park. Once I checked out I had charged for $11.47 and $38.53. What for? My receipt shows none of these charges. Beware of staying here. No one will respond to my voicemails. Hotels.com is helping more than this hotel to resolve this. I want my money back. Stay clear of this hotel.

Whether at check in or at the bar... The staff literally couldn't have been less attentive! Thankfully an AWESOME bartender showed up around 4 and made the evening enjoyable... The obvious Employee of the Year, the rest probably should reconsider their careers in hospitality!

Overall its a nice place and we were comfortable. The service in the roof top bar wasn't so good. I understand they were busy, but we never did get our food. Then we were told we couldn't order any more drinks because they were too busy. I also EXPECTED FREE coffee in the mornings. Having to buy and WAIT forever for a simple cup of coffee is unacceptable to me. I understand its a business, but no COFFEE unless you buy it, is ridiculous. We only stayed there because of other family there. This is our 2nd time staying in Lincoln and we will be staying at the other place next time.which also has a full free breakfast We also don't like not having access to our car. It worked out and valet did a good job but we don't like that.

We enjoyed everything about the property however I booked the reservations because it was advertise as being downtown Lincoln. I was surprised to find out that downtown was still a couple miles away. I take responsibility for not looking more closely however I think it’s misleading to advertise. It is downtown Lincoln

The hotel was great, clean, and newly updated. Very very Cornhusker themed. It’s location is a little odd, in the middle of the Nebraska Innovation Campus, and the parking lot is off and down a hill, so spring for the valet.

Perfect. Best beds, bedding, pillows, huge tv, and smelled so good in there! Not perfumed yuck, NICE. I cannot wait to go back. The restaurant was awesome!!! $16 huge burger and fries. Delicious. Perfect. Yummmm. I was not impressed with the coffee from a branch of The Mill. Who doesn’t have cream? It was skim, oatmeal or almond milk. Yuck. $30 later kind of sucked. We did get a cinnamon roll, sub par and a slice of apple coffee cake that was pretty good. But that was really expensive for small coffees and a sweet treat. And I am a caterer so I know how expensive the stuff is.

Bunch of friends stayed to attend a concert at PBA. Super cool design vibe. Customer service was exceptional. Rooms are quiet with the solid doors. Shuttle service was available exactly at times we requested going and returning! Brunch was impressive. Fun beer tasting in lobby at check-in. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Located away from bustling Haymarket area, with good bar and restaurant. Perfect unless you want a bit more nightlife in walking distance. Food at restaurant Well & Good is excellent. You won’t be embarrassed taking business guests there. However, service is very slow. Restaurant may be having difficulty staffing, which is somewhat surprising in city with so many colleges and UNL.
