Stayed 2 nights

The bathroom was very outdated and needed modernising. The door didn’t close. We were without a working kettle for most of the stay. The 3rd one we were eventually given worked but on our last day!

AS this is only a non manned B & B surrounded by double yellow lines & not a parking space to be had, to have to phone a man "round the corner" & wait 10 mins before he dropped the key off - not an impressive start. Room door pso many layers of paint very hand to open & close & a really musty smell in the room . A blind at the window didn't really do much so the room was very light from 4.30 / 5am sun up & I think my petite partner would have struggled to sit on the toilet / squeeze in to the shower - as I'm a wee bit bigger than her TBH I was only able to use the loo if the door was wide open. Broken light buld in the lobby so very hard to find the keyhole etc when I returned from work late of an evening . . . .

The Timrick Lodge was a nice place to reside - the only downfall for us was the sheer amount of noise around the property and our next door neighbouring room was up and down all night which kept us awake. The property was simple but exactly what you’d need for a few nights away. The only other small issue we had was the parking, when booking it said that there was parking available but we didn’t understand how limited it was. With only 24 hours parking maximum available to anyone staying there, we had to move our vehicle a few streets down - which wasn’t the end of the world but also not ideal as we would have liked to have eyes on the car in an unfamiliar area. It’s close to the beach and the start of the strip which was lovely. The owner was friendly and chatty. Thanks again 😊😊

Stayed 2 nights

We had a really comfortable if compact room which was all superbly clean and well maintained, also we had the privilege of meeting the marvellous manager Andy who is a superstar. Location is superb too and the breakfast in the linked Jubilee hotel was great and yummy. Absolutely would recommend and would stay again.
