Het is een oud en verwaarloosd hotel. De kamers waren ruim en schoon maar ook verouderd. Een bad met douchegordijn, in de kamer een donkere sprei op de bedden en vieze oude gordijnen. Absoluut geen 4* waard. Het ontbijt was helemaal verschrikkelijk. Bittere lauwe koffie, taarten die er vies uitzagen, weinig beleg en alles zag er onsmakelijk uit. De gym was echt te vies om aan te zien, het zwembad was niet gevuld en de sauna ook vies. Personeel aan de receptie absoluut niet behulpzaam. Restaurant boeken deden ze niet. Een jongen aan de balie gaf zijn eigen telefoon zodat we zelf konden boeken. Geld wisselen was ook niet mogelijk. Enig pluspunt was bewaakte garage.

the pool and sauna and other amenites were not available , front desk told us that will never be avilable again. apparentaly the pool and sauna never worked well but they keep adding them in their description and this is very missleading

Excelente todo el servicio a excepción de la instalación del gimnasio. Preguntando en recepción me indicaron que estaba habilitado y podía utilizarlo. Previendo la situación de levantarme temprano en la mañana, fui en la tarde, una vez hospedado a revisar el recinto, con la sorpresa de que las maquinas estaban en desuso desde hace tiempo, por cuanto las maquinas estaban sucias, y no hubo forma de conectarlas por cuanto no se podía enchufar, el lugar descuidado, igualmente que el sector de la piscina. Tamaña sorpresa me lleve al ir a recepción e indicarle al funcionario de lo que estaba viendo y me indico que sin ningún problema estaba habilitado y al indicarle que NO, fue conmigo al sitio para que se diera cuenta de lo que le decía y comprobó y sorprendentemente que era cierto que las maquinas no se podían usar, además le indique, lo descuidado que estaba el lugar. Les recomiendo, favor poner atención a este aspecto, es posible que vuelva próximamente, inclusive con mí familia. Soy de Costa Rica, además habiliten la piscina, eso sí OJO la profundidad, por cuanto la alberca no sería para niños, la profundidad es para adultos. Espero haber contribuido a mí comentario, en lo demás excelente el servicio, los empleados un 100% y el aseo y comodidad, excelente. Muchas gracias.

It was a nice place but the area looks like it has become a bit run down. The parking situation was unclear and I got a parking ticket trying to figure it out. The hallways are really dark, but other than that very nice.

En general se ve un hotel sucio y sin mayor prolijidad en el aseo de sus baños y piezas. Incluso encontramos un parche de piel bajo la cama. El baño sucio sin limpiar. El comedor del desayuno totalmente colapsado en su capacidad debiendo esperar casi 30 minutos para poder desayunar. Lo peor de todo y queriendo retirarnos rapido nos encontramos con que bloquearon nuestro auto con otros vehiculos, debiendo esperar casi 50 minutos para poder retirarnos.

This place was within a short walking distance to the cruise port even with our luggage. Room was clean and spacious. Beds were ok. Shower presser is great but shower walls had mold spots everywhere. Signs of restaurant time is wrong. Staff in restaurant unfamiliar with the availability of food. No other food along water front. I'd stay more in the city next time.

I picked this hotel because of its proximity to the cruise terminal.The hotel is very clean but feels more institutional than a welcoming place to stay. The room offered very basic accommodation. There are no coffee/tea making facilities in the room, no tissues in the bathroom. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable for me. We paid for an ocean view room at the front of the hotel which overlooks a major road so it was noisy to sleep until the traffic died down at night. The breakfast is adequate but not great quality. The oj tasted like sugar water that had had orange flavoring added. I wouldn't stay here again.

Wir haben eine Nacht hier verbracht vor der Weierreise. Lage in Richtung Hafen und Stadt sehr gut, Haltestelle direkt vor der Tür. Anderes Zimmer bekommen als gebucht und auch zu höherem Preis. War so nicht geplant, aber wir haben es akzeptiert. Zimmer sauber, Mobiliar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Frühstück war in Ordnung. Gepäck konnten wir nach dem Auschecken dort lassen, bestens.

From the hotel you can walk along the train track to the cruise terminal in Valparaiso. Approximately 800m walk. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Our A/C unit did not work well so this was a negative point for me. Breakfast was good and had a nice variety of options. Cons: Location is not an incentive to go for a walk around. We took Uber to go to Vina del Mar which is nicer and not far. Check-in was average but not more. I believe this hotel needs more love. I would recommend ONLY if you take a cruise from Valparaiso cruise terminal and you want to be close,

Old fashioned hotel with excellent structure. The breakfast service was great. Clean room and toiletry supplies. Wonderful view from the room. There's a grocery store close to the hotel, which came in handy since the hotel food service prices were higher than average. Front desk not very friendly.

It was nice that they let us check in early . They also stored our luggage towards the end while we did another tour after we checked out. Breakfast was ok and it was safe to walk around the area.

El menú no era fresco, el pan estaba anejo otro huésped me hizo el mismo comentario. Las personas del mesón de ingreso muy amables, maravillosas, lo mejor. Las personas del comedor encienden la radio. Podrían poner música ambiental. Las pociones de pasteles deberian ser mas chica, creo que se pierde mucha comida.

We were robbed inside the hotel lobby. Doors wide open No security and the staff did not assist us in anyway. Wouldn't even call the police for us to report. Poorly trained staff. The best part was that the breakfast staff was friendly and food was fresh. We reserved a city view and instead got a view of a dilapated rooftop.

Excelente todo el servicio a excepción de la instalación del gimnasio. Preguntando en recepción me indicaron que estaba habilitado y podía utilizarlo. Previendo la situación de levantarme temprano en la mañana, fui en la tarde, una vez hospedado a revisar el recinto, con la sorpresa de que las maquinas estaban en desuso desde hace tiempo, por cuanto las maquinas estaban sucias, y no hubo forma de conectarlas por cuanto no se podía enchufar, el lugar descuidado, igualmente que el sector de la piscina. Tamaña sorpresa me lleve al ir a recepción e indicarle al funcionario de lo que estaba viendo y me indico que sin ningún problema estaba habilitado y al indicarle que NO, fue conmigo al sitio para que se diera cuenta de lo que le decía y comprobó y sorprendentemente que era cierto que las maquinas no se podían usar, además le indique, lo descuidado que estaba el lugar. Les recomiendo, favor poner atención a este aspecto, es posible que vuelva próximamente, inclusive con mí familia. Soy de Costa Rica, además habiliten la piscina, eso sí OJO la profundidad, por cuanto la alberca no sería para niños, la profundidad es para adultos. Espero haber contribuido a mí comentario, en lo demás excelente el servicio, los empleados un 100% y el aseo y comodidad, excelente. Muchas gracias.

The view of the Bay/water front was beautiful. But if you were looking for the beach you need to go further up or down the coast. The hotel is clean, staff very friendly and the breakfast was more than just coffee & bread. You had fruit, egg, sausage, pastries and so much more to eat. This area was very walkable. As you walked the city the dining options were plentiful from Pizza to Chinese to local dining. Public transportation was easily found. The only disappointing aspect of the city was the Graffiti that was everywhere. But we enjoyed our time in Valparaiso.

Excelente hotel na orla de Valparaíso, com vista para o mar. Chegando pela rodoviária são 15 minutos a pé de caminhada. Quarto amplo, confortável, completo e muito bem decorado. Café da manhã excelente. Altamente recomendado.

The hotel is big and quite comfortable inside, but graffitti outside and location in an area with abandoned buildings made our arrival weird. It was Sunday night and maybe that made it look even worse. A sunny monday morning and the good attention of front desk made everything look better. We could even walk to the tourist zones.

Wir haben eine Nacht hier verbracht vor der Weierreise. Lage in Richtung Hafen und Stadt sehr gut, Haltestelle direkt vor der Tür. Anderes Zimmer bekommen als gebucht und auch zu höherem Preis. War so nicht geplant, aber wir haben es akzeptiert. Zimmer sauber, Mobiliar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Frühstück war in Ordnung. Gepäck konnten wir nach dem Auschecken dort lassen, bestens.

Het is een oud en verwaarloosd hotel. De kamers waren ruim en schoon maar ook verouderd. Een bad met douchegordijn, in de kamer een donkere sprei op de bedden en vieze oude gordijnen. Absoluut geen 4* waard. Het ontbijt was helemaal verschrikkelijk. Bittere lauwe koffie, taarten die er vies uitzagen, weinig beleg en alles zag er onsmakelijk uit. De gym was echt te vies om aan te zien, het zwembad was niet gevuld en de sauna ook vies. Personeel aan de receptie absoluut niet behulpzaam. Restaurant boeken deden ze niet. Een jongen aan de balie gaf zijn eigen telefoon zodat we zelf konden boeken. Geld wisselen was ook niet mogelijk. Enig pluspunt was bewaakte garage.

This place was within a short walking distance to the cruise port even with our luggage. Room was clean and spacious. Beds were ok. Shower presser is great but shower walls had mold spots everywhere. Signs of restaurant time is wrong. Staff in restaurant unfamiliar with the availability of food. No other food along water front. I'd stay more in the city next time.

The customer service was great. The breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner was excellent. Most of the time the stuff was able to satisfy my inquiry. The transportation was excellent because the station was across from the hotel to reach Viña Del Mar.

Walkable distances to all attractions, grocery, foods, buses. But may be that's its curse, close to downtown, shady neighborhoods. Front door needs to be unlocked by an inside staff for you to get in (oddly, all day-n-night). One time I was locked out since the desk staff was nowhere to be seen. May be that's just everywhere in Valpo, not just the hotel? Disappointed that a seaside town left so bad of a taste for me.
