This Ibis follows the general Ibis model of having very spare furnishings and facilities, and a general lack of warmth in decor. But it was clean and functional enough. Front desk service was good and helpful. As a foreigner (from USA) I was incorrectly forced to pay the VAT (IVA) tax because authorities at the airport failed to give me a PDI form when I arrived. Other hotels in Chile asked to see the PDI, but when I explained I did not receive one, they did not subject me to the IVA tax.

It is bare minimum hotel. I would say even below that. Carpets on the floor so filthy I didn’t even want to step on it. Surrounding is not good either. Supermarket is right next to hotel almost. That was good. Electric outlets are very different with 3 prongs.I could get only 1 from the office. I bought 2 from a store I was passing. I have stayed many times in Ibis in France. It doesn’t come close enough. The reason I chose this hotel it is right at the pier but didn’t know our ship was docked far away. I liked our room with the view of the harbor. It could have been cleaner. Our room had toilet paper, liquid soap, and two towels. There were no cups, glasses, tissues, hand towels, washcloths, shampoo, or lotion. No USB ports. Talk about sparse! Good thing it was only one night and inexpensive.

Overall very basic for the priced paid. Location was good to view the fireworks on new years, but the prime to go with stay for New Year’s Eve was not worth it. Beds were too soft. Only two towels and a floor math in the bedroom. Only a tv, safe and one chair. Very, very basic. Also, food selection small only pizza and h and cheese sandwiches to select from for dinner. If omit staying for a day the this hotel is close to the safe tourist area… otherwise, spend the money and stay at Viña de Mer… because there is nothing to see on Valparaiso

Sadly enough, I think this is one of the nicer properties in town. Our room was beyond sparse, with limited end tables, bathroom amenities, and the like. Upon entering the room, the 2nd bed was already rumpled and had a black shoe print in the comforter. Additionally, on the bed table next to it, there was a half eaten pack of fruit snacks. The bathroom had 2 total towels, no hand towels, lotion, or anything of the sort. The shower had zero shelving to put anything like a razor, shampoo etc. The TV had one English speaking channel, the BBC:I know that we are in Chile; however, this is a popular hotel for tourists getting on or off a cruise. Lastly, the area surrounding the facility is very depressed. It is ideal for the purposes of the cruise, however. The staff was nice enough and accommodated everything we asked for, which was fairly minimal. I think 3 stars, overall, is generous, so travelers be advised.

The room was in great condition. The food in the restaurant was tasty. Staff were very helpful in securing taxis, etcetera, and genuinely wanted to be sure everyone had a good time. The only downside was the WiFi was slow. I wasn’t able to do my Zoom meetings. Instead, they became phone calls. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Santiago at some point in the future.

Hotel in posizione strategica, buono e conveniente per il rapporto qualità/prezzo. E' a due passi dal centro storico (basta attraversare la strada e procedere in salita: dopo pochi minuti di cammino ci si trova nel dedalo di vie animate da bar e ristoranti tipici, in mezzo ai murales e ai marciapiedi colorati). Personale gentilissimo ed estremamente disponibile: avevo fatto patto con taxista per il giorno dopo, ma non si è presentato. Alla reception hanno risolto il mio problema contattando in pochissimi minuti un taxi (avevo tempo molto limitato perchè il bus sarebbe partito dalla stazione dopo poco). Unico neo: bottiglia d'acqua presa in hotel al costo di quasi 5 euro. Un po' troppo, se si pensa che non era nemmeno in bottiglia sigillata, ma acqua presa dagli erogatori (quelli che si vedono anche nei bar). Insomma, sono scivolati su una buccia di banana. Per il resto tutto ok.

Buena experiencia, el personal fue muy amable y me permitió trabajar en el espacio de Co Work al otro día, luego del check out. Incluí el desayuno y muy bueno y variado, con frutas y pasteles. También comí el menú ejecutivo, buena relación precio/calidad. El personal de la cocina es muy amable. El ruido de afuera es un poco molesto en las habitaciones que dan hacia la calle, ya que hay un club cerca y los buses por la mañana hacen mucho ruido. Si reservas por aplicaciones o páginas debes pagar un impuesto de 19% adicional a la reserva.

Es ist extrem basicstyle. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, die Handtücher so lala…aber es gibt auch so gar nichts was einen wohlfühlen lassen könnte. Frühstück war auch eher Basic- das nachfüllen war mühsam und es gab immer wieder keinen Kaffee, keine Eier etc

Si l'hôtel nous a donné satisfaction , l'appellation "restaurant" ne correspond absolument pas à ce qu'on peut attendre de la chaîne Ibis . Pour dîner , on a eu le choix entre 3 pizzas , 2 pâtes et des hamburgers , il n'y avait pas de vin au verre ou en demi-bouteille et les prix étaient supérieurs à ceux des bons restaurants qu'on a connus dès le lendemain .
