A very warm, accommodating welcome, staff were delightful. Rooms were so comfy and well equipped, provisions for our four legged friends were also provided. Food was slightly on the slow side but delicious when it came. Breakfast was included in our stay. Free parking. Free wifi. Totally recommend.

We were a little concerned that we may suffer noise from the bar but the rooms at the back were perfect and quiet. Bar is great. Food is decent. Staff were EXCELLENT ❤️. Thank you. There are a couple of InstaVolt ev chargers that meant we could top up our car too.

Room was a good size and bed was comfy but had a large stain on the side of the base which didnt look very nice. Complimentary tray was a nice surprise and there was a good selection of teabags snd coffee pouches. Service in the bar and restaurant was excellent with friendly hardworking staff, and the breakfast choices were good and very tasty. Garden area was very pleasant to relax in, and plenty of parking too

Overall, a nice place but in serious need of refurbishment. The hotel room was tatty, there was mould in the bathroom and it wasn't very clean in places. Breakfast was good with vegetarian and vegan options. Staff friendly. However we won't stay again unless it's been refurbished.

Great stay with lovely food and service. However walls are paper thin and we had a large party of revellers screaming all night so we didn’t get any sleep. Single beds and pillows were uncomfortable and also the beds rolled around on their castors so every time you sat on one or moved it slid across the room. So overall the rooms need more thought as the price charged was high. The food at the pub and the service was excellent as was the breakfast. So if you could sort the rooms out better and ask guests to keep the noise down and be radial to other guests I would come again.

Lovely overnight stay in comfortable room with all the facilities needed. Bathroom was a bit tired and had limited space to put wash bags etc, but there was plentiful hot water and a decent shower, lovely toiletries and good towels. Good lively atmosphere in hotel, it’s Christmas so lots of entertainment. We hadn’t reserved a table in the restaurant which I thought could be a problem on a Friday night at Christmas, but the hotel thoughtfully reserves some tables for its hotel guests and we had a fabulous, good value meal. Breakfast was great too and all the staff were lovely throughout our short stay. Definitely recommend and we will be back.

Our ferry was a bit late, so we contacted the staff and they were fantastic. We then found that the A3M was closed, without giving a detour. Again we phoned and they were so helpful. They waited patiently for us and dealt with our reservation and drinks with such kindness. The room was exceedingly spacious and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back.

Surprisingly good especially considering it’s pub hotel. Very comfy rooms. Modern and cozy. Complimentary water in glass refrigerated. Staff couldn’t do more to make you feel welcome. Food at the pub equally as good and service to match. I’ve already stayed couple times and will stay again.

A very comfortable stay here. All the staff we spoke to were super-friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. The wonderful Queen Elizabeth Country Park is 6 mins' drive away - a challenging Park Run for those into this on a Saturday morning - and the area is beautiful. Highly recommended.

We felt very welcome at the Hampshire Hog from the moment we walked through the door. The staff were friendly and efficient and not only seemed to really care about guests but also about each other - they appeared to have the right sort of rapport with each other, making everything run very smoothly.

Have just come back from an excellent 10 day stay at The Hampshire Hog. Good location. All staff very hospitable and accomodating, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast plentiful with wide selection of hot and cold foods. Food served all day, good quality from varied menu. Dogs received a superb reception. Ended up having to staying an extra night, due to illness. Steve and Colette could not have been more caring and helpful. Even took a trip to the chemist for us. Will definitelt stay again if in the area.

First stay since the refurb. Rooms are excellent, staff brilliant. Pub is lovely and great atmosphere. But, food quality is inconsistent. Dinner friday night, pie of the day, meant to be steak and ale, but was pepper and some other stuff we couldn't taste. Saturday breakfast was mixed, good bacon, sausage, hash brown. Bad black pudding, dry and poor. Saturday snacks were great, burger was really good. Sunday breakfast, oh dear, definitely B team, toast wasn't cooked, most things cold apart from hash browns. Croissants were a mess. A shame really that inconsistent quality food let's the overall experience down. Hope they get on top of kitchen issues before we return

The facilities were clean and tidy, although showing some signs of age. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was of a high standard, well presented and tasty. The supplied 'treats' indicated the level of care and thoughtfulness given by the management and staff. We would recommend the Hampshire Hog to family / friends and would stay there again.
