Excellent hotel with great shuttle service to Mayo Clinic…worth the stay just for Paul and Dean the shuttle drivers! They are great! Underground parking caused some issues with tight spaces, but management was helpful.

Place was clean and close enough to Mayo that we could walk. Room was a little stuffy and dry. Worst part of the property was the underground parking. It was really tight to get into the garage with a large vehicle. The. Once in the parking spots were so small no one really parked correctly and had to squeeze into spots.

I have stayed here a few times for easy access to Mayo Clinic. There is a lot of construction in the area, but they have a dedicated shuttle which makes it easy (the shuttle will take you anywhere in a 2 mile radius, too). The staff has always been fantastic: very friendly, professional and helpful. One of the best area hotels I have stayed at. They require your room key for the elevator use and garage access which I appreciate for security.

This hotel room even has a dishwasher full of dishes and pots/pans! Full size refrig. The FREE shuttle will take you anywhere within 2 miles, that's a lot of places. I will be back for sure.

Beautiful lobby with fireplace, lots of seating and TVs to hang out. Spyhouse Coffee off the lobby had great drinks. Our room was huge, corner unit with fridge dishwasher and oven. It had retractable blinds which was so great with all the windows. Price was comparable to rooms at nearby Kahler Grand at that time and that hotel is not nearly as nice IMO. Underground parking was great as it was snowing. Close to Mayo hospital which is why we stayed there, maybe 5 minute drive.

This is my 3rd trip to Mayo Clinic and this hotel is great. It is only a block and a half from the Gonda and Mayo buildings. They have a nice workout room. Since I usually stay a full week, the full kitchen is definitely helpful. The rooms are nice and clean.

The room is spacious and very comfortable for 2 people. Kitchenette amenities were great but we did not cook in our room for this trip. The exercise room was clean and well arranged for the space. Several quiet sitting areas inside and out. Staff was very friendly helpful and courteous. Did not have the breakfast but it look extensive

Everything was excellent except our room needed more detailed cleaning. We moved the chair to get a better view to the window and there was popcorn & other debris underneath. Yikes, not sure how long that was there for.

we came into an unclean room. long black hairs in the shower. long black hair in bed. popcorn under recliner in room. dirty coffee filter in coffeemaker. Very noisy outside. asked for another bar of soap from maid and she didn’t understand English. Asked the next day for someone to exchange our towels. returned to room at night no towels were exchanged. We even called front desk for towel exchange. We paid alot for the room. Very disappointing experience

Location very convenient if you go to Mayo Clinic, Good size of the room, modern style. Basement parking (extra charge) . Bed not comfortable, I thought it’s new hotel but the mattress is not like new, or maybe just new name and remodel but they used the old hotel stuff, i’m not sure. Just little incidents, just get in into the room , and looking at the kitchen, there’s a sign that said, all the dishes inside the dishwasher, clean and ready to use, when i grab the mug, i was shocked that the mug is very dirty like people use it before and never wash, so i brought that mug to the front desk and show them, was nasty. I don’t know how long it’s been there but it made me think that, do they change the bed sheets or not and so many things in my mind made me nervous. So the nice lady front desk, her name Taylor come with me to the room to see if other stuff dirty or not. And it was ! The other stuff she checked was even have mold in it. As a chance brand from Marriot, didn’t expect that to be happening. Well she apologized and ask me to move to the other room. It takes a bit long to change the room, rather give me up grade , they give me down grade. It was very disappointed! I said I paid for that kind of the room but because something happened and now i have to move to smaller room basically down grade. It’s not acceptable, so i have to wait again to look for different room. Should to get relaxed when you arrived at the hotel but it wasn’t.

Great place to stay. We were here for Mayo medical appts. When we arrived, the fridge in our room was not working, the AC would only stay on 72 (we are cold sleepers, and shower pressure was BAD. But once we said something to front desk, they were so kind and helpful. While we were out of room at Mayo, a maintenance worker came. Since he was unable to resolve all the issues, we were give a different UPGRADED room. They were very apologetic and made up for the first room. I will def consider staying here again! The free breakfasts were excellent—lots of variety and options. All staff kind and courteous.

We like our room. It was comfortable and handicapped accessible, which we needed. However, we were very disappointed in the service as our room was not cleaned two out of three full days we were there. One of the days they were able to get our room cleaned after telling them upon our return at 4 PM. Even then the cleanliness was not that good, as they just did the minimum of making the bed and giving us new towels.

Property is relatively new and it shows. Very clean and well kept. Staff is extra friendly. They offer free shuttle to and from all my appointments. It is very roomy from lobby area to rooms. Only negative is that when folks walk around in the room above you you are going to hear it. Especially at midnight or 2AM.

Very comfortable modern property located conveniently to Mayo Clinic and Rochester Civic Center. Nice to have a full fridge and kitchen for a longer stay. Bed was comfortable and shower was modern walk in. Really a solid place overall. Access to subway system across the parking lot, and shuttle that runs all over.

Great hotel. Great complete hot breakfast (FREE) We stay at a studio room 500SF for only $139 per night with a full kitchen and real pots and pots and dishes. Very nice in comparison with some dark stinky dives around. Super close to the Gonda Building (5 min walk), they also have a Spyhouse coffee house at the premises. We are going to look for TownPlace Suites by Marriot from now on. A really great concept. 10 Stars for sure!! One thing we didnt like is the cheap small batrroom mirror and the interrogation bright light above it. Besides this minor defect the Hotel rocks!!

Our stay was good. I would suggest better water pressure in the shower and also maybe a door of some sort so water doesn’t get everywhere. The bed could have been comfier but it was fine.

Staff is extremely professional, polite, helpful, and compassionate. I stayed 4 nights/5 days and saw that the staff is very consistent. The hotel is focused on the needs of this visiting the Mayo Clinic, and I felt it was perfect. It is a 2 block walk to the clinic, and they have a shuttle bus that is very frequent that goes there for those who prefer not to walk. The rooms are very comfortable. Beds, linens, and PILLOWS are very good. The kitchenette is a godsend for someone staying 5 days, though I wish hotels with kitchenettes would have a regular coffee maker instead of the single serve little ones. The included breakfast was excellent and, as fitting a hotel focused on a medical center, provides a broad variety that includes gluten free and dairy free options. The lobby has several sitting areas that are really comfortable, cozy, and private so you are not stuck in your room. I also utilized the business area for the computer to get some things done. I stayed at this hotel based on a friend’s recommendation and was extremely happy with it. It made an otherwise “heavy” trip so much more bearable to have such a cheerful and comfortable place to stay.

Beautiful property. Lobby large spacious - yet cozy living room like. One big problem was no shuttle for our conference on Saturday. You are downtown by the conference center and that is why people book your hotel.

Everything was really great, the bed was very comfortable and the convenient transportation to/from Mayo was so very helpful. We had wished the breakfast had a few different dishes as eating there for 10 days in a row, the selection rarely changed. It was all good food, just maybe need to alternate what hot food is being offered every couple of days.

The room was clean and nice. One bed had a squeak which was a little annoying but truly minor. It was my second stay here in 2 weeks and I'll keep coming back if we are going to Mayo. It's super convenient, great staff, good breakfast and the rooms are really nice. They treat you well here.

This was a really nice hotel close to Mayo. Only, I guess my husband and I weren't really happy that they didn't have a complimentary coffee bar as some of the other hotels have. We just rather enjoy this feature at the other hotels. There is a Spyhouse Coffee shop at the location, so that's why I think that they don't have complimentary coffee. I do want to compliment the shuttle driver to Mayo from the hotel. He was absolutely so very nice!

It is a new property, so everything looks great. They also had a shuttle to the clinic which was excellent. Now for the meh. The hot breakfast was very basic. The eggs were not real, the sausage was okay. Even though there was additional food available, I ate the equivalent of a continental breakfast (all prepackaged). I expected more, similar to a Marriot, but it was lacking.
