Parking is a nightmare all year around. The hotel staff are lovely. The hotel is slowly being modernised. We decided to stay an extra night and was able to experience an updated and quieter room which was lovely Both rooms were clean and tidy.

Lovely hotel, good outside bar friendly staff Bedroom was about right size. Nice view from window. Unfortunately the mattress on our double bed was not so good, as we both woke up with bad backs most mornings. The bathroom looks very dated and tired and could really do with a new look (especially the flooring) Overall we enjoyed our stay and would happily come back if these changes are addressed.

Hotel was being refurbished but we did not get a refurbished room unfortunately but the room we did have was clean and OK in a very good position for The Quay and bars etc. A good stay.

On the 3rd floor and no lift (don’t know how long it hasn’t been working ). It is not mentioned on their website . Lots of stairs and confusing .Getting lost on the way . But overall good value for money for Weymouth

We stayed here for New Years Eve and went out into the town, room was ok, overlooked the beach, nice view, lift was out of order so a lot of stairs to climb, we were offered help with our bags if we needed it. Overall it was a nice stay, and would recommend, we would stay here again

Very polite and helpful desk staff on arrival. Upgraded to a sea view room which had recently been refurbished. Decor was lovely and facilities good but carpet needs a good clean. Stairwells need decorating as they're tired. Would stay again as very convenient for the beach, town and walking distance to the pavilion and the shows.

Nice hotel, right on the beach front so convenient for our stay. Parking was a bit tricky but the multistorey wasn't too far a walk and reasonably priced due to the hotel. Room was nice for a family but the beds were a bit uncomfortable. Bathroom was decent enough and the shower/bath was pleasant after a long day. My only complaint would be the need for a new shower head. Staff were all really helpful during our stay. There is food/drink available at the hotel with a nice seating area out the front with live music at times.

Superb position on sea front, our room had bay window overlooking beach. Very close to town centre and pavilion Recently refurbished to excellent standard Definitely not a no frills budget hotel ! Staff very friendly and flexible Close to takeaways and shops Very competitively priced Would definitely stay again and highly recommend! Awesome shower and bath ! Apparently restaurant starting next week . Excellent stay !

The room could have been in better condition there could b more improvement by having a better design and the bath wasn’t clean and an old bath mat was in it . Which it didn’t need one . Everything was quickly done but no care was considered while decorating

My daughter and me booked to stay here, Staff were friendly and helpful, tom kindly took our luggage upstairs on arrival, room was available as soon as we arrived, lovely fresh clean room, with sea view which was great, location was great for the beach & town, chef kyle was very accomadating, and made me a lovely salad off menu so i could keep up with my dietry needs, would definitely stay here again and would recommend anyone staying here, breakfast was continental which was lovely fresh fruit cereals today & pastries, seating area outside as well to enjoy the sea view, also bar was open later than there usual time to accommodate guests lovely stay here and look forward to staying again, wish we had stayed longer here.

Room was very clean and tidy and had been redecorated to a high standard. Check in/out was seamless and the staff were very attentive. We had a buggy and a 1 year old so the lift was very handy. We found a few stairs once up on the third floor and we found this a little challenging as the corridor is quite narrow as well. Sea view was excellent and we would definitely stay again

The location is great and the staff friendly but that’s about it. We got one of the family rooms that is yet to be renovated and it wasn’t nice. Firstly there was brick dust like someone had been drilling on the bathroom floor and my six year old stepped on a screw in bare feet! Luckily wasn’t hurt and the guy we spoke to was shocked and said he had checked the room. Personally I see it as a problem that they didn’t know A. Who had been in the room and B. Why. It was cleared up and we were told we could have a free drink. The wardrobe doors didn’t slide and just got stuck. The bed was so soft to the point where if one of us moved it felt like we were on a boat. The water pressure in the bathroom was non existent and hot water took 7-10 working days to appear. We also got a room with a view of nothing but a scaffold covered roof. The WiFi took about an hour to actually connect. Also if you’re in one of the further away rooms it’s quite a way to walk from the lift with more stairs so be clear of you don’t want stairs involved. I wouldn’t personally stay here again and if you’re planning to then ask for an updated room! For over £100 for one night we were very disappointed.

Loved my stay in room 104 at the Fairhaven Hotel. Recently refurbished room and it was lovely with a fantastic view. Had a problem with the thermostat but staff were happy to provide me with a plug in fire which warmed the room up in no time. Reception requires a revamp but I believe renovations are ongoing. Staff were lovely, polite and helpful. Would happily return!!

Hotel is ideally situated, check in was nice and easy. Hotel is rather dated and does need modernisation. Bed was rather uncomfy, thin windows let in alot of outside noise. Reported wifi not working 6 times over 2 days but this wasnt fixed. Bathroom run down and could have done with a good clean. Room a good size and staff friendly

We had a room with a lovely view but unfortunately we stayed the night of the England game and the local populace were quite vocal for most of the night! The room had been refurbished which was lovely but single glazing and thin curtains could not keep out the noise or light.

Great view from room 101.Unfortunately we couldn't get the wifi in our room,but could in reception. We did not eat there, but the continental breakfast was reasonably priced. Would highly recommend 👌.

We booked in for a couple of nights, from the welcome at reception upon arrival to check out, the staff were friendly and helpful. The sea view rooms are excellent, recently renovated fresh and clean with a fantastic view- would definitely recommend.

The worst family experience in my 50 years. The hotel did not have staff after 9 pm and left customers to their own overnight only for staff to come in the Morning. I arrived late and could not enter the hotel, call the emergency number they left at the door but it was the reception number that no staff was handling because they had gone home. Very deceptive calling themselves a hotel rather than an apartment. Highly unprofessional quack set up in Hotels.com list.

Was upgraded to a lovely sea view room. South African chap on reception very friendly and informative. Everything was great. Didn't partake of it but their continental breakfast at £4.95 seemed to represent excellent value for money. Excellent range of tea/coffee left in our room too.

Another great stay at fairhaven hotel had sea view room which was lovely and bright with 2 large windows room was a good size clean and comfortable. Advantage for us is that there is a lift because of mobility problems and the rooms are over 3 floors. Staff are amazing always helpful and friendly will be back later in the year

Exceptional hotel. Great location but not right in the middle of the hub of Weymouth. If you love oysters, make sure you go to the Marina. The staff are a huge credit to this hotel, so helpful and very welcoming. The seaview room we had was clean, modern and as the room is titled “seaview” it certainly didn’t disappoint. We will definitely be back. I will be recommending this hotel to many of my friends - yet - I want to keep it to myself 😍

Excellent position - opposite the beach and within walking distance of many bars and restaurants. Our room was at the back of the hotel. There were some noisy residents but given the seagulls it wasn’t an issue. We opted for no breakfast so can’t comment on that. The hotel itself was clean and staff friendly. Would stay again.

The hotel is located right in the middle of all the attractions-easy to walk everywhere. Staff were friendly and professional. The room had everything we needed, including blow dryer. Cons: oceanfront view room street noise very loud at night. Parking is a challenge.

This is a great location in Weymouth. In the centre and 5 minutes walk from the Britannia car park which is £6 for 24 hours. Service was excellent really friendly and happy to help us, nice clean room. There was a little bit of noise from cars on the esplanade as we had a room versioning the sea. Nothing intrusive.

The room is fine as we chose one of the more expensive rooms, think the cheaper ones are older looking. DO NOT GET BREAKFAST!!!! They say it is continental but it isn't at all. Breakfast was cereal and toast with an apple, not worth the money. There was no cheese or meats whatsoever, not a continental breakfast at all lol jesus

Stayed here for two nights and for wedding night in superior suite and it was a lovely room. Great views from the bay window over Weymouth beach. Staff were very helpful and approachable. Couldn’t understand why the kitchen wouldn’t be open on a Friday evening for food at the end of July.

Our 2nd (6 night) sea view room stays at the Fairhaven - September 22 and April 23. The hotel is a work in progress at the moment but nevertheless have enjoyed both our stays here. The price for the sea view rooms are really good and have been recently refurbished. Hot showers in good quality modern new cubicles, towels changed daily. Breakfast are a basic continental which suited us fine. Bed on our most recent stay was not as comfortable as in the first room but survivable. All the staff we encountered were very polite and helpful without exception. White Pepper, Southern Indian Food Restaurant just opened in the hotel's dining area during the evenings. Limited and a little unorthodox menu but lovely food. Will definitely return to both hotel and restaurant.

We came for the Seafood Festival which was a stones throw away . Excellent location with everything within walking distance . The staff were amazing .. the beds were comfy and the breakfast was good too … Will definitely book again .

What wonderful lovely staff all round!! Comfy rooms and a brilliant keralan onsite restaurant. Live music and made lots of friends. Stayed as a couple. What more could you want! Defo be back
