Die Lage, das Personal und die Anlage selber mit Liegen und kleinem Pool war super, auch zum Meer nur ca. 50 Meter in einer ruhigen Lage. Einrichtung war schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen, aber bei dem Klima nicht verwunderlich. Das Bad fanden wir etwas klein und auch nicht besonders sauber. die Toiletten wurden nicht sehr gründlich außen und innen geputz. auch waren die Duschen mit etwas Schimmel befallen. Wohl auch klimatechnisch zu erklären, aber durchaus behebbar. Leider waren die Matrazen sehr durchgelegen. Aber, wir würden trotzdem wiederkommen, da die Lage für uns und die Ruhe entscheidend war. Ganz schnell war man in der etwas belebten Hauptstraße oben. Leider wurden die Liegen im Garten schon ab morgens mit Handtüchern dauerreserviert ohne das die Leute da waren. Das müsste dringend mal geändert werden. Eine ganz dumme Angewohnheit ist so etwas!

Spacious room and a really quiet place. Breakfast was very good and restaurant served decent food. We especially liked that sun beds were not only available at the pool, but in the beautiful garden, too. However, what we did not like was people “reserving” suns beds with their towels. And in many cases not showing up. Hotel says they would remove them, but didn’t.

Super dejligt hotel tæt ved stranden og ikke langt fra hovedgadens mange restauranter og butikker. Hotellet har et fint poolområde og en hyggelig have. God restaurant og god varieret morgenmad med en æggestation. Den god bar med meget rimelige priser. Personalet giver en enestående service altid med et stort smil. Sansynligvis et hotel vi vender tilbage til.

Unterkunft würde ich wieder nehmen, tolle gepflegte Ausenanlage, großeZimmer. Leider war wegen der hohen Temperaturen kaum Abkühlung ( Pool 33 Grad ) möglich. Es gibt tolle Strände, die mann mit Roller ereichen kann

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage. Alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Restaurant im Hotel sehr preiswert. Personal und Service sehr gut. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

5 great days at The Leaf Oceanside (on a few bookings). Everything went smoothly and their New Year’s eve decoration and set-up around the pool was the best in the area as far as we could tell. Not a great fan of Gala dinners in general but my yearly teen kids loved it. Pools are not large but sufficient (partly due to being split in two - but mostly teens and adults in one of them which works well). Beach close by but given ‘second row’ then no sea breeze at hotel which makes it slightly more hot than a beach front hotels but also fewer insects. The vibe and hotel design outweighted the beach front hotels in my view (maybe aside from a few huts just by the beach at the Nang Thong resort). Lots if Scandinavians at the Leaf hotel (you pick yourself whether this is a plus or a minus 😀). Good buffet breakfast.

Poolen var vääääldigt varm, trasiga solsängar samt området runt poolen var lite trasigt och skulle behöva en upprustning. Personalen var toppen! Frukosten var okej, varierat utbud men ex äggröran var knappt ätlig. Tjock och smaklös. För att vara ett kathani hotell så blev inte våra förhoppningar uppfyllda.

We enjoyed our stay at The Leaf Oceanside. The property grounds were spacious and well cared for. The two pools were adjacent to each other, with plenty of sun beds. Whilst quite a lot of these were claimed early, the property also scattered quite a few sun beds nearby on the lawns, so everyone could find a place to sit. Breakfast was pretty good, with (limited) bakery, fruit and cereal options, plus a couple of stir fry Thai dishes and eggs. We stayed in a palm villa room which was reasonably spacious and comfortable. There was nothing to watch on TV except news channels. The team were always polite, but I thought they lacked the usual Thai hospitality of warmth and smiles.

Very quiet and peaceful area. Short walk to the beach. Pool at resort is shallow. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Good breakfast. Although, eggs are precooked so they can be cold. Overall a pleasant place to visit.

A very nice, clean hotel, friendly and attentive staff. Excellent choice for breakfast.Not quite on the beach but that can be reached via a little alleyway(about 50 metres). A few bars and restaurants close by but it's only a 10 minute walk to the main road with an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants.

Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal, Die Lage des Hotels ist auch sehr gut kurzer Fußweg zum Strand. Das Hotel ist aber auch schon in die Jahre gekommen was man auch sieht allerdings wird es vom Personal sauber gehalten. Beim Frühstück hatte man das Gefühl das das Personal an seine Grenzen gekommen ist. Im gesamten aber ein schöner Urlaub.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber gut erhalten und sehr sauber. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist eingeschränkt. Man kann sich aber Eier in den verschiedensten Varianten frisch zubereiten lassen ubd es wird sich bemüht, alle Sondereünsche zu erfüllen. Leider haben während unseres Aufenthaltes Bauarbeiten im Außenbereich begonnen, die einen Umzug in ein anderss Hotel notwendig gemacht haben. Die Lärmbelästigung war sehr hoch.

We spent 7 nights at the Leaf Oceanside Resorthotel. We chose the "bungalows" at the back, which are like a small house with a small front porch. What I especially liked about the whole hotel was that it was very quiet, which was not disturbed by anything, there was no noise at all! Birds often came and we only heard chirping. It was really nice to relax like that. Everything was super clean. The room was quite spacious, the toilet/shower was inside, everything was great. The staff was nice, everyone! :-) When we asked, we got new towels, the beds were made, and the rooms were cleaned. The breakfast buffet offered a great selection every day, with fresh food, it was a little different every day, without any problems. Sometimes you had to wait a few minutes for the eggs to be cooked, but this was due to individual wishes. The coffee at breakfast was super good, the world-famous brand machines worked well, and there was always good coffee/cappuccino, etc. There is a possibility to park your car/motorbike right in front of the hotel, nearby (4-8 minutes walk) there is a good big supermarket and good services (toilets, several restaurants, many bars, Thai massage, lots of souvenir shops etc.) I recommend you to stay here. We organized programs and excursions ourselves, we arrived with specific advance information. So to sum up: everything was super great, thank you!

The hotel had a great location, just a short path to the beach and walking distance up to the main road. Stayed in a garden villa which needed a bit of a facelift. Openings around the door and windows let mosquitos in, but staff was very quick solving the problem with spray and electric repellant, so not a problem really. Breakfast buffet was totally ok, nothing specatular but enough to choose from. The staff was totally amazing, always smiles and very helpful. Without them, the hotel would have been nothing special at all.

Leider ist die Speiseauswahl beim Frühstück sehr begrenzt. Da kenne ich es besser aus den Katathani Hotels in Khao Lak. Leider finde es auch schade das es nur einen Schlüssel gibt, also wenn man das Zimmer verlässt ist die Klima aus, sehr unpraktikabel bei den Temperaturen. Die Klima ist auch sehr laut, so dass man nur mit Ohrstöpseln schlafen kann.

Amazing stay at the leaf ocenside. The beach is literally 2 mins away walking distance. Breakfast was good but avoid going there during 9-10am since it could be very crowded. The room will always have 2-3 mosquitos every night so prepare yourself with mosquito repellent or need to catch them every night before going to sleep

We enjoyed our stay at The Leaf Oceanside. The property grounds were spacious and well cared for. The two pools were adjacent to each other, with plenty of sun beds. Whilst quite a lot of these were claimed early, the property also scattered quite a few sun beds nearby on the lawns, so everyone could find a place to sit. Breakfast was pretty good, with (limited) bakery, fruit and cereal options, plus a couple of stir fry Thai dishes and eggs. We stayed in a palm villa room which was reasonably spacious and comfortable. There was nothing to watch on TV except news channels. The team were always polite, but I thought they lacked the usual Thai hospitality of warmth and smiles.

We spent 7 nights at the Leaf Oceanside Resorthotel. We chose the "bungalows" at the back, which are like a small house with a small front porch. What I especially liked about the whole hotel was that it was very quiet, which was not disturbed by anything, there was no noise at all! Birds often came and we only heard chirping. It was really nice to relax like that. Everything was super clean. The room was quite spacious, the toilet/shower was inside, everything was great. The staff was nice, everyone! :-) When we asked, we got new towels, the beds were made, and the rooms were cleaned. The breakfast buffet offered a great selection every day, with fresh food, it was a little different every day, without any problems. Sometimes you had to wait a few minutes for the eggs to be cooked, but this was due to individual wishes. The coffee at breakfast was super good, the world-famous brand machines worked well, and there was always good coffee/cappuccino, etc. There is a possibility to park your car/motorbike right in front of the hotel, nearby (4-8 minutes walk) there is a good big supermarket and good services (toilets, several restaurants, many bars, Thai massage, lots of souvenir shops etc.) I recommend you to stay here. We organized programs and excursions ourselves, we arrived with specific advance information. So to sum up: everything was super great, thank you!

On arrival at the hotel we had such a great welcome, a tea and ice cold flannel to cool us down. The staff were really welcoming. To get to our room we had to walk through the restaurant. Our room overlooked the 2 large pools and grounds which was actually really nice. The room was ground floor with a large balcony area. It was a large room with a massive bed, decent size bathroom and all the facilities we needed like kettle and fridge etc. The only things it was lacking was a privacy screen of some sort as we were ground floor so you could see straight into the room, no good if you wanted to walk around naked! Also the massive units by the side of the bed were pretty pointless? They didn’t even have drawers in, just the light switch at the front forthe above bed reading lights. We realise that most plug sockets in Thailand are dodgy but it was hard to get phone leads etc plugged in at the bedside. Fortunately we take a 4 plug extension when we travel anywhere now. The shower wasn’t the best either, very weak. Lots of storage provided and the usual safe etc. the location was good, a short walk to the beach and also to a local night market and to the main strip where there are loads of restaurants and shops. We had a few local massage places round the corner which we used and they were good and reasonable too. It was also easy to grab a taxi at the hotel entrance rather than using the onsite one as she was more expensive we found. We would come back but not to this hotel

The hotel had a great location, just a short path to the beach and walking distance up to the main road. Stayed in a garden villa which needed a bit of a facelift. Openings around the door and windows let mosquitos in, but staff was very quick solving the problem with spray and electric repellant, so not a problem really. We truly enjoyed our stay! Super friendly and helpful staff no matter the department, clean room with much storage and great location. Close to the mainstreet but without any disturbing sounds, beach just a short walk away etc. would definitely recommend this hotel in Khao Lak

I’m still awaiting a refund for my last night stay as I had to leave the hotel early due to lack of care in the restraint following my allergies. I told them at the reception and even told the staff when ordering and I still was given food with things I’m allergic to. My throat swelled up from this and they tried to explain that I should show a card to explain my allergy every time I go to the Restraunt? And the mango juice was heavily diluted. I wanted fresh squeezed juice and they didn’t give it. Other than this a generally nice hotel to stay. I will give a better review if and when I get my refund back which the management have emailed me to state is processing but also it doesn’t say on this app that it is being processed? They also said 45 days for a refund to be applied which makes me believe they say this so it’s too late to give a bad review… not too late for me though.

A very nice, clean hotel, friendly and attentive staff. Excellent choice for breakfast.Not quite on the beach but that can be reached via a little alleyway(about 50 metres). A few bars and restaurants close by but it's only a 10 minute walk to the main road with an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants.

Detta boende ligger bra till. Nära till det mesta av restauranger mm. Lite känsla av storhotell framförallt vid poolen, jakten på morgonen med handdukarna, ja Ni förstår. Inget jag egentligen hade ont av då vi alltid åker ut på stränderna runt omkring. På eftermiddagen fanns det i regel en solsäng ledig.

This resort is perfect for people looking to have a little oasis getaway. We stayed in a Palm Villa and it was worth the upgrade. Very clean, great amenities, breakfast buffet was more than sufficient and staff were over the top friendly. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach, which is not overcrowded and has tons of little restaurants. The pool area is small but beautiful and the resort is walking distance to shops and restaurants on main drag. Our only not so great experience was the food at their on site at their little restaurant (outside of breakfast). We tried a few times and just not good. But again you are so close to so many great restaurants this would not impact returning. Thank you to the staff for a great 10 day stay!

Amazing stay at the leaf ocenside. The beach is literally 2 mins away walking distance. Breakfast was good but avoid going there during 9-10am since it could be very crowded. The room will always have 2-3 mosquitos every night so prepare yourself with mosquito repellent or need to catch them every night before going to sleep

Poolen var vääääldigt varm, trasiga solsängar samt området runt poolen var lite trasigt och skulle behöva en upprustning. Personalen var toppen! Frukosten var okej, varierat utbud men ex äggröran var knappt ätlig. Tjock och smaklös. För att vara ett kathani hotell så blev inte våra förhoppningar uppfyllda.

We enjoyed our stay at The Leaf Oceanside. The property grounds were spacious and well cared for. The two pools were adjacent to each other, with plenty of sun beds. Whilst quite a lot of these were claimed early, the property also scattered quite a few sun beds nearby on the lawns, so everyone could find a place to sit. Breakfast was pretty good, with (limited) bakery, fruit and cereal options, plus a couple of stir fry Thai dishes and eggs. We stayed in a palm villa room which was reasonably spacious and comfortable. There was nothing to watch on TV except news channels. The team were always polite, but I thought they lacked the usual Thai hospitality of warmth and smiles.

I’m still awaiting a refund for my last night stay as I had to leave the hotel early due to lack of care in the restraint following my allergies. I told them at the reception and even told the staff when ordering and I still was given food with things I’m allergic to. My throat swelled up from this and they tried to explain that I should show a card to explain my allergy every time I go to the Restraunt? And the mango juice was heavily diluted. I wanted fresh squeezed juice and they didn’t give it. Other than this a generally nice hotel to stay. I will give a better review if and when I get my refund back which the management have emailed me to state is processing but also it doesn’t say on this app that it is being processed? They also said 45 days for a refund to be applied which makes me believe they say this so it’s too late to give a bad review… not too late for me though.

Very quiet and peaceful area. Short walk to the beach. Pool at resort is shallow. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Good breakfast. Although, eggs are precooked so they can be cold. Overall a pleasant place to visit.

Clean rooms, friendly staff and very nice surroundings. The only downsides was that our door was really hard to lock and unlock- that was quite a challenge every time we got out/home and we thought the beach would be right next to the pool, however it was across the road - not far. We really enjoyed the stay.
