Booked room 2 which had plenty of space-king size and single bed! Really nice bathroom. Breakfast good. Lovely lady Jan who looked after us and we had plenty of laughs. Evening meal spot on-there was a lot of options. Try it here-you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The bar was great and there was a nice lively atmosphere. Our room was spacious and well appointed with a nice bathroom. The downside was that although we stayed for five nights our room wasn't serviced once during our stay. The breakfast was fine if you enjoy a cooked breakfast but there was little choice otherwise. There was cereal and juice but no fruit at all or yoghurts.

Had a lovely stay at the Durant Arms. The staff were lovely. A special mention about Jan; she brought a smile to both my face and my partner's face at breakfast. I do hope she has not shrunk anymore. Lovely location, lovely room and a really pleasant break.

Our stay at the Durant Arms recently was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and tidy and the breakfasts were good with plenty of choice. I would recommend this hostelry to anyone.
